It was just another day in the shop. People walked by and faces remained ever exuberant, but all those who came through avoided the fireplace on the far wall as the large mechoid fox, Shadowblitz had come to occupy that space well.
Today was no different. Curled up in a tight ball, all except his long tail which lay motionless around the beat's body, today was a day he just turned his back to the world. He wanted desperately to get up and explore or do something, but with no movitvation, energy, or will, he just stared with glowing red eyes at the slowly dieing fire

Aralia padded about, her wings fluttering just slightly before folding tightly against her back, muttering something about being alone, and just vaguely, about her brother's 'whore'. she was still sore about that. Quince was always clinging to her tail all through kithood talking about how they didn't need anyone but each other, too shy to part from her and suddenly he's off with the first pretty fox to give him the time of day.
She shook her head, trying to get such bitter thoughts from her mind, which just about worked when her aimless padding around made her nearly trip over the long, mechanical tail. Her eyes focused into the slit fashion of her mother's and she leaned close to inspect the reminiscently spinal way it all connected together before following it to it's owner, peeking around the back turned fox and following his gaze to the dying embers, and looking back up to his face with a tilt of the head.
"Hello!" She greeted, wondering why he was being so silent and alone looking. "Are you waiting for someone?"

He about had a spark attack when suddenly someone's face appeared in his field of vision. He felt the reserves of oil spark a fire and he lept to his feet and immediately took a defensive stance, backing up against the wall and head lowered with eyes glaring. To say he was startled was an understatement. In the back of his mind he tried to calm the instinctive behavior.
"What...do..you want.." he said between a form of panting, trying to cool the overly working spark as a radiator cools an engine. He snaked his lifeless tail closer towards him and raised the heavy blade from the ground and let it slither and snake around as if it had a mind of it's own.

Aralia jumped back, struggling with her goggles that fell over her eyes in the process rather then really focusing on his defensive behavior. Finally fumbling to push them back onto her hat, she looked over the bot with the childish glee at the sound of radiator noises.
"I don't want anything. I was just saying hi," She stated, utterly clueless why he'd think she wanted anything.
Her mind quickly flitted to his odd composition, though, and she padded a bit closer, "Are you a cyborg? Or a bot? Who built you? You sound like you could use a tune up," She babbled, making a slight face at the last phrase. "What's your name?"

He stared at her wide eyed and weary. "You..disturbed me..for that?" he said. He had to lie down. His energy was to precious to waste for this kind of event. It was a shame, but with the other cybertronians fleeing rapidly or being near non-existant, he had nothing to take energon from. It only made him wonder how they managed to live as well as they did. perhaps size. His train of thought had to be cut short. He was still amidst a curious being who seemingly was not going to let him be.
"Made me? No one made me. I'm a creature just like you, just from another planet" he explained as he lowered his head to the ground, feeling cool and relaxed after his scare

Aralia gave a bit of a snort. "Bothered you? I just said hi and you went all "rawr, predator" on me. Besides, you looked all depressive and stuff."
She padded a few inched closer, eyes narrowed then normalized as she gave him a once over and pursed her lips, thinking about his remark about being an alien creature. "Entirely? You're a completely natural being with no manufacturing whatsoever?" She asked, her tone of voice making it obvious that she thought that was a load of bunk. "But you're covered in hinges and metal plating. And... hrm," She trailed off, resisting the urge to circle him and see what other functionary elements to his over all design she could glean just from his outer appearance.

He sighed a bit and strained his gears to lift his massively heavy body. If she wanted to look, then so be it, it was harder to explain what he was anyway. "This is what I am. Despite how I look I am a living thing" he snorted non threateningly. While she looked him over, he scanned her. More intrusive, but what she didn't know wouldn't hurt. Hmm...completely carbon based..minus the clothes and attire....typical he thought with his red eyes fixed on her blue eyes for some reason. He wasn't sure why he was so transfixed on them. Maybe it was because they reminded him of the eyes that his enemies often had

"Well I never doubted that you were a living thing, but an entirely natural living thing is... hrm..." More curious in how that could be then interested in proving him wrong, she padded a bit closer, ears perking at the sound of gears moving.
"Regardless, your make-up is amazing. I'd praise your mechanic but you said they don't exist, so," She just finished with a shrug and flopped back, sitting and making a cup of tea appear cradled in both her paws with little more then a thought and a flick of the wrist.
Giving a quiet sip, she looked up over again and started off with a new set of questions. "So, if you're an alien life form what's your planet called? Is everyone there mechanical?"

Slightly frowning a but more than usual, he plopped back to the ground and adjusted his paws to where they wouldn't be crushed. "The planet I cam from is called Cybertron. Odd I know" he paused to scratch behind his ear with a back paw. Despite him being metal, he didn't make the awful screeching sound that most metal might make. After shaking his head and putting his back leg down he focused his gaze on her once more.
"We are all siliconed based organisms if that's what you inquire, which means yes, we are all made of metal. Though I have noticed that some of the others who have made it to this planet and dimension are more...foxlike in appearance" he scowled as it was more apparent to him now as to why they were having few difficulties. But his train of thought didn't last long. He quickly retaliated with an inquiry.
"What is this of interest to you? Most others would have either tucked tail and ran or tried to exterminate an individual like myself, yet here you are, seemingly relaxed. Why? "

"Silicone based..." Lia repeated in a mumble, mostly to herself in thought as all sorts of random information she had on biology and mechanics swirled in her head trying to get a better grasp on his kind.
"Oh!" She perked up at the word dimension. She knew something or other about that. At one point she looked into the various theories on dimensions, thinking it would help explain the magical ability she'd inherited from her mother, since it was apparent the likes of Willow wasn't going to know much of anything that in depth.
She paused, though, noting the scowl and quirking an eyebrow with an almost dry tone to the inquisitive expression, wondering why he'd be scowling at something like that.
"Well, then most are idiots," She said with a roll of the eyes, though she didn't believe that herself. "Quite frankly, if you are what you say you are, you're probably the most interesting thing I've seen in a long time and are worth looking at. and I come from a family of psychic demons with a weird penchant for talking animals," She stated, at first resting a paw fluidly on her own chest when she referred to herself and her family, and then frowned a bit as she said that out loud, wondering why no one's questioned her sanity before. "Either way. On top of that, you really aren't that frightening. My father's invented toys that sent more chills down my spine. If anything you're normal bordering on intrusively noticeable thanks to your size," She assured him with a nod of her head before taking another casual sip of tea.

He blinked a few times before trying to think of an accurate way to describe it in a way she could comprehend better. "Basically you could say either organic metal is what we are made of...or you could just do what seems to be a common phrase. 'alien robots' " he grimaced at the thought of being referred to as a robot. He had more than an AI could ever possess. Though he nearly jumped when she suddenly remarked about his dimension comment. He was a bit surprised that she could understand that much, but he didn't have time to question when she continued on about her not fearing him, then saying he wasn't scary at all.
With a disgraced stare he 'wrinkled' his nose a bit. "How thoughtful. Compare me to human playthings" he said snidely. He was appreciative that he was not feared, but to go as far and say toys were scarier than he was, was a bit of a low blow to him. He was born a monster afterall

"But you're not a robot," Lia stated and then wrinkled her own nose at the roundabout way this conversation seemed to be going on. "You just said you're an organism."
And then she turned her attention to the fact she seemed to have put her foot in her mouth and insulted him, looking the the floor at her side and tapping her lower jaw with a free paw, wondering how to rephrase.
"Well, not toys. I think. Wait. I don't know, but he does manufacture some weird crap. Definitely not playthings. I don't know," She rambled, giving up and deciding he could be insulted if he wanted to be insulted and giving a slight inhale at her quickly growing cold beverage.
"So then why are you here? I mean, no offense, but you don't exactly seem like a happy camper down here with all our fuzzy carbon based selves," She asked, wondering why in the hell he'd leave his home, but she was pretty ignorant, being born here and not ever once leaving.

He refrained from saying anything to respond to that. He didn't want to dig himself into an even bigger hole. And although he was still insulted, he decided to keep his mouth shut. As hidden as it was, he was enjoying the company, and last thin he wanted to do was loose that.
His ears perked a bit, but flattened. Not so much in anger or shame, but given the circumstances it wasn't easy to hide any kind of emotion. "Our kind is at war with one another. Because of something that was on this planet, they traveled here to wage their war, but I'm not on either side and being against the war, my mission was to stop them from destroying another planet. That was why I was here. Now I'm afraid I will be stuck here until I slowly rust away" He didn't mean to sound morbid, but it was the truth of his existence. Everyone else had either moved on or stayed, but they had the resources to do so. Being a loner of the war, he didn't.
He didn't want to linger too much on his own problems, so he came up with another inquiry. "Family of demons you said and..talking animals?" he was obviously not understanding. To him demons were the stereotypical beasts with devilish wings and wicked looks, not what he was seeing before him

"Ah, war," Lia mumbled, curling her legs under herself as she listened quietly, unsure what to say with no background on the politics of this strange species from across the dimensions and space.
"You can't get back the way you came?" She asked, ears flattening back, easily imagining the hopeless feeling of being separated from one's home indefinitely.
When he turned the conversation back to her family she relaxed, just slightly, and shrugged her shoulders, tossing her empty cup away only to have it vanish from sight in mid air. "Half demon. Or maybe I'm a quarter demon. I don't know," She said, her mocha and gold colored wings twitching a bit as she thought about it. "My mother's a demon, and she has all sorts of strange powers. I didn't inherit all of them, though. She can even go so far as to look into people's minds. Also, her and my brothers have these... familiars. Ferrets. Talking ones," She gave a bit of a shudder. For some reason, Lia couldn't the rodents her brothers and mother always had crawling around and all over them, even if they did speak impeccably. "My father's genetics are normal as can be, though. Except I think he might've suffered from some sort of head injury over the course of his life... but he's still a gifted mechanic and mathematician."

The large mech listened intently, making sure to record and log every bit of information she spoke of. It was a bad habit, but one he found often useful, even if it meant he kept that information till the day he died.
"And are you...Like your father in mathematics and mechanical prowess?" He only asked because it was of human politeness to speak little of yourself and ask about the other, and he liked it that way, so he happily followed human etiquette"
