"What does it take to truly know someone?"
here's my basic statistics.  Senshi: Sailor Sirona, Senshi of Healing.
Name: Ji-Yeon Nae, often called Jin.
Age: Seventeen.
Birthday: February 14th, Valentine's Day.
Sign: Aquarius.
Blood Type: O+.
Favorite Food: Rice cakes. Nothing beats a Sunday afternoon with an array of sweet cakes accompanied with a boiling pot of tea.
Hated Food: Fish. To be specific, fish with long, non-edible bones. She'll stick to bone-less, thank you very much.
School: Meadowview High School.
Gemstone: Amethyst.
Challenge: 'First aid kits can be dangerous.'
Senshi Team: Team Vogue.

the things you didn't know.  Virtues:
✚Helpful: giving or rendering aid or assistance.
Ji-Yeon relishes the feeling of being useful, well, to the best of her ability. She's always the first to raise her hand to do some extra volunteer work, or carry a senior citizens' groceries to their front door. In previous years, the daily ritual of doing 'one good deed' could have been considered selfish to an extent; the tasks were done in the hope that karma wouldn't bite her in the a** the next day. However, now she has learned, it simply gives her a sense of accomplishment, and she thrives off the occasional 'thank you'. To put it in a nutshell, helping you helps her too.
✚Optimistic: disposed to take a favorable view of events or conditions and to expect the most favorable outcome.
Nothing can bring this girl down. Not even if the biggest, baddest, storm of the present century were to pour down upon her. That being said, Ji-Yeon would consider it to be a good omen. Well, at least there won't be a drought! And, maybe we can look forward to a sunnier day! Even in the most dire of situations, Ji-Yeon believes that there is a way to fix it, to get out of it. 'Every cloud has a silver lining.' Her main philosophy in life is that although what goes up goes down, what goes down has to come up. With Ji-Yeon, positivity is key.
✚Patient: quietly and steadily persevering or diligent.
'Good things come to those who wait'. This is one of her strongest morals. If she starts something, she won't rest until the task is complete, regardless of the duration. Everyday things like waiting on a seemingly infinite line won't set her off to foot-tapping or eyebrow-furrowing. Rather, it seems to have the opposite effect. She enjoys having the time out of a day to think, and if it's a boisterous atmosphere, she simply likes to take in her surroundings. She is aware of the fact that she'll be rewarded with patience, be it the sense of accomplishment or a pat on the back.
✚Trustful: full of trust; free of distrust, suspicion, or the like; confiding.
You could call it foolish naivety, but Ji-Yeon simply has a lot of trust to give in her heart. It can be the most blatant lie in the world, Ji-Yeon will believe it. Why? Because you said so. So, isn't the right thing for her to trust you? Of course, if Ji-Yeon were to find out that it was one big fib, her own confidence would be damaged. However, it would be ignored, and eventually forgotten, due to the belief that you were probably faced with such circumstances. If you were to lie again, she'd believe you again. She believes that trust can only be received when given, and Jin believes that a relationship can only be built with that key component.
Flaws:
✚Bashful: uncomfortably diffident and easily embarrassed.
It's not that she's socially awkward, it's more of the fact that she's easily flustered. Compliments will completely throw Ji-Yeon off balance, repeatedly saying 'thank you's' resembling a broken record. The true flaw comes into play when she can't completely speak her mind. If it's an argument between her and someone else, Ji-Yeon will simply nod her head and apologize, due to the fear of angering that person. Though it's because she wants the result to be peaceful, because of this, at times, she can never get her true thoughts across, making some relationships difficult.
✚Careless: not paying enough attention to what one does.
Ji-Yeon is incredibly disorganized and forgetful. Really. Her parents hoped she would grow out of her clumsiness upon becoming a teenager. That had been wishful thinking. To this day, Jin is constantly knocking down glasses of water, getting nasty gashes from falling on the sidewalk, and generally, tripping over her own feet. Though she reminds herself to be more aware of her surroundings, that thought is immediately erased within a minute, and by the next, she's broken a plate. You should be warned to never let her drive; the result could be rather hazardous.
✚Prejudiced: an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.
Though she's incredibly friendly towards the average human being, to Ji-Yeon, bad people are bad. Which brings up the question of what exactly makes a person 'bad'. This controversial inquiry is pushed aside. The side that harms the human race or fosters evil intents is immediately considered malicious. That being said, this could be said to be the general thought process of most people. However, they have a key facet called sympathy. To Jin, the corrupt faction is a whole. They are degraded to a simple group of human beings that are simply heartless. This bias blinds her to the truth.
✚Preachy: inclined or given to tedious and excessive moralizing.
Though Jin is self-conscious as to whether to speak up at times, when she does lecture people, goodness gravy. She's constantly quoting sermons. The general opinion; annoying. The last thing a person wants to hear is that they're wrong, in a situation where free opinion can be spoken. Though this trait roots from good intentions, the results are not, but Ji-Yeon is too oblivious to pick up on it.
Hobbies:
✚Praying: a form of religious practice that seeks to activate a volitional connection to some greater power in the universe through deliberate intentional practice.
Before Ji-Yeon could manage to hold herself on two stubby legs, she managed to clasp both palms together, mimicking her most stoic parents. As an infant, Ji-Yeon could describe her parents as adoring, care-free, and a couple that stuck to a set of specific morals. However, there were certain periods in the day, be it dawn or dusk, that they would bow their heads slightly, occasionally mouthing unrecognizable words, and the female knew it was a time to set down her stuffed dolls, and parrot the adults. Upon asking her mother, the young Ji-Yeon learned several new things. "Whas dat called, umma? The thingy you do every day." the child eagerly pointed towards her mothers' hands, an eagerness to learn visible in her pupils. "This honey?" A soft chuckle escaped her mothers' mouth. "Praying." Immediately, her mother's expression changed. It wasn't fierce, more gentle, with a hint of stubborn belief. "Wha for?" the toddler gently cocked her head. "For many things honey. For you, for appa, for happiness. For our belief in Christianity." Ji-Yeon obviously did not know a single thing about Christianity at that time, of course. But, she merely shook her head up and down, approving her of her mothers' reply. It's not merely something forced upon her now, it is a basic part of her day-to-day life. What does she pray for? From miniscule worries to the most stressing situations, Ji-Yeon takes a minute or two out of her day, to pray. Of course, it's not only for her. Her friends, her parents, her neighbors, her classmates. To some extent, Ji-Yeon holds a mild belief that praying is the solution to everything, though not immediate. If you believe. You could call Ji-Yeon strange for preferring to pray over a verbal argument. But as always, there is method to madness.
✚Nursing: to tend or minister to in sickness, infirmity, etc.
One might marvel at the perfect state of health Jin retains. However, her interest lies in helping others retain their health. It's not like she can mumble some words and transform into a magical girl with healing powers, right? Ji-Yeon is seen now a regular at the hospitals and nursing homes of Destiny City. To the nurses, an eager-to-help but clumsy intern. To the seniors, a girl always offering to read them the daily newspaper, or write a letter to their family. Another thing is that Ji-Yeon strongly believes in the theory of Faith Healing; which is the belief that through praying, it is possible to evoke a "divine presence" toward correcting disease. Because of this, she brings her previous hobby into her volunteer work.

checking up on my family tree.  ✚Tae-Hee Kim: Perhaps if Ji-Yeon's mother had chosen to stay in Korea, she could have been reveling in the luxuries life had to offer. Tae-Hee came from old money, her ancestry revealing flawless GPAs from birth to the grave. Needless to say, she continued her family's reputation for birthing perfect students as she graduated from one of the top universities in the world, Seoul National University. But life happened, and now, Tae-Hee Kim resides in Destiny City with her beloved daughter and husband. Her profession is being the best wife she can be. Her hobbies include manipedis, shopping, and chasing after the life she could have had.
✚Hyun Nae: It was probably the best decision for Hyun to move to the United States with Tae-Hee and Ji-Yeon. Hyun's family came from new money. His father, the lucky b*****d, won (how many millions had it been?)--well, their family had become noveau-riche due to a booming jackpot in the lottery. Hyun had been a smart teenager, aware that money could go as easily as it had come. His priority was studying. Like it had been predicted, one wrong financial step, and the Nae family plummeted into the lower rungs of the social ladder. Studying proved to be worth it, and in SNU, he met Tae-Hee. The rest was history. Hyun's profession is making sure their family stays alive-- a banker. His hobbies include reading daily newspapers and discovering the newest gadgets technology has to offer.
