They sure as hell better miss me D:<

I miss my senior percussionists from last year. We were like a crazy weird family. We're a family this year too, but it's not the same :/

I miss the seniors from my freshman year.

In my freshman year, there were 6 clarinets. 4 seniors, two freshman, including freshman me. I loved those seniors to death. They made band fun,a nd sectionals were never boring.

I'm going to miss some of the seniors this year too, but not as much. Our female drum major got the loudest cheers from the band during graduation. I'll definately miss the old trumpet sl. he was a good friend to everybody and always made us laugh.

I dislike most of this graduating class. I will miss my friends and those I respect, but that's under ten people... Many of them are drama queens, though, and just bother me. Some even burned their band pants last night at a "Yay seniors are done with school" bonfire... Couldn't they just donate them or something? @_@ And if they were so tired of marching band, why'd they do it?

I still miss people from the '09 and '08 class though. Great players, very respectable people... good friends. :')

This.

I loved the class of '09. This year's class is just full of lying evil little drama queens with big egos and little brains. I dislike a lot of them very very much. >: [

I won't really miss the seniors that just graduated.
They brought a lot of drama - including one sleeping with our director and causing us to lose our second director in two years.
I really miss the seniors from 2007 and 2009. They were very close to me. heart
And I hope that people will miss me when I graduate next year!

I'm going to miss my bands seniors, but one in particular. Her name is Devan and she's my flute sister.
Freshman year was kinda awekward for me, being one of three freshman in the flute section and well, she was assined to be my band sister, and that's when I discovered she was as much a dork as myself. She called me her "Padawan learner" and I called her "Master Devan". So when senior send off came around, I was crying and she said I'm offically a "Master Jedi" which cheered me up. We had a special party with all of our dorky friends that night and will I'll just say Link and Romano were battling it out with lightsabers.

I'm going to miss our drum major, my fellow bass clarinet. On the first day band, when we were just going through our pep band stuff, if I ever missed a note, he'd play it extra loud. He's a nice guy

I'm gonna miss all of them. I'm a senior next year, so i've been with them for 3 years, so they've always been there...its gonna be really weird...

I will miss each and every one of the seniors. They we're the foundation of our band, we are basically going back to a beginner level without them.

My first day of band camp, my section leader Amrit has us do "sectional bonding."

Seth can fix just about any problem on a flute.

Samantha kept us all on schedule and organized.

Paul was the master musician. He could play just about any instrument. He was pit captian ever since his sophmore year, and he taught everybody whatever he could. He was the most outstanding senior. He also was just amazing overall.

There's more but those were my absolute favorites.

I've known this year's seniors for three years, there isn't a single one that I won't miss.
...well, maybe one flute but that's because I don't really talk to her.

The senior I am going to miss most of all is actually the one that everybody thinks is weird. He's actually one of my best friends.

I still remember the first time I talked to him; he insulted me so I almost threw an Arizona Tea bottle at him on the bus while he was asleep.
Didn't speak to him again for months, until the giftwrapping fundraiser where we ended up on the same shift.
Since we were in a public place with our parents, we couldn't rag on each other the entire four or five hours, so we somehow ended up getting along. I can now admit that that was when I got a crush on him but at the time I absolutely refused to admit that to myself.
Didn't really talk to him much again until the following September.

Since freshman year February, I had been dating an idiot sousaphone and didn't talk to my friend much during August's band camp.
Broke up with him at the end of September sophomore year, and...that's where I don't exactly remember when I started talking to my friend again.

I swear, I spent so much time with him last fall that it's no wonder we're so close even now.
We'd still rag on each other, but we were friendly about it. The throwing of things, constant hitting each other or pushing each other was just a bonus.
I can totally say that the best days of sophomore year marching band were spent with him, and were probably the days where we fenced with colorguard flags (and he pushed me down the big hill which I promptly fell UP), kept trying to throw me over the fence (which was really just him shoving me a lot and picking me up once...), or the Nights of the Glowsticks where we beat each other with thin glowsticks and had the most fun ever.

There's more details I could put in but I don't want this to be an anecdote of my life, so...

This year I've continued to hang out with him but on a less spastic scale. He was in my psychology class, and ended up sitting next to me by our teacher's roster. We hung out so much in there that she had to change how she did groups so we didn't always end up together.

He's not really going away since he's just going to the community college up the road and helping with marching band, but I'm going to miss him terribly either way.
I just hope I don't cry as bad at graduation this year as I did last year.

There's a million more things I could say about him, but I think this suffices in proving why I'll miss him.
