What is the difference between Circle casting and Sacred Space?
Which do you do?
Is there a reason behind your choice?

Ive cast circles in the past, but it's been a long since I've so..
As for the difference, a sacred space is a room/area where u feel secure/comfortable/a lot of energy to practice in. A circle is a made space where u take any-old-space & cleanse it for your purposes.

I pretty much agree with the above post. Circles are something you cast but a space is something you make.

Neamhain Riona Underworld Priestess I pretty much agree with the above post. Circles are something you cast but a space is something you make. Oh, yes, I forgot to say that and I agree with you. I feel like a circle make keep out somethings that I don't mean to and even if it's not keeping them out to be a cast circle is saying that I feel like I need a border around me to speak to you. Which is not very honorable.

i suppose i prefer sacred spaces...but they're a rare find for me at this time. i'm sure once i settle & things sort out better, i'll be able to find the right spot ^_^

Neamhain Riona wicked_faery i suppose i prefer sacred spaces...but they're a rare find for me at this time. i'm sure once i settle & things sort out better, i'll be able to find the right spot ^_^ does that mean u planning to move?

I am also trying to turn my room into a sacred space. But I have a lot to do and not a lot of money to work with it. I want to paint some murals and have a lot of artwork around me, which would go a lot easier if certain things wouldn't hide my paints from me.
Riona and Wicked - I also wanted to ask you two about plants, you are both so much more knowledgable than I am on that topic. I want something that isn't too small but nothing huge either for in my bedroom. Light and shade I can adjust for whatever the plant needs I just don't know where to start with plants.

if ur just looking for easy to care for, i suggest spider plants...they hang in baskets so they don't clutter.

Well, I like trees: willow and sycamore but those wouldn't fit well. I also like ferns but I have enough of those around the house. I'm thinking something bush like but I just don't know what.
