well i dont post here much but that dont mean i dont stop by.
any ways. just wanted to ask if any 1 has seen it in broadway?

i'v only seen it in an opera house. not its was great. but sadly could have better. i mean the opera house sucked.

I am going to be seeing it this February, because the Brodway production is coming to a theatre near me. So, I am very excited! ^.^

I've seen Hugh Panaro, Sandra Joseph and John Cudia, twice.

Then two more times with Gleason as Raoul.

Then with Mcgillin as the Phantom.

-sigh- Unfontunately, McGillin isn't that great.. He slurred his words.. He also yelled or as what I called "Got angry" at the wrong moments and often.

I also believe he forgot to throw the Christine Doll at the right time, because he threw it at the wrong beat, I believe.

He also screamed like a girl when Sandra pulled off his mask. o_o;

But, he was okay..

No Panaro, but he was okay.

I became so close to seeing it last year. I took Intro to theater and we take a braodway field trip. The choices came down to: The Phantom of the Opera or The Producers. I want to see PoTO so much more than the Producers, it woud have been so cool to see my idolize PoTO as the first broadway show I ever went to! But the teacher felt like seeing the Producers so we went to that instead... and it was like, right across from either the Phantom's show or a huge billboard of the "Remember your first time..." logo... I'm not sure if it was actually there. i was so dissapointed. V_V I hope I get to see it!

MmmHugh... Hugh Panaro is great, I have a bootleg of him. Fantastic voice, and he's sort of... oh, what's the word I'm looking for? I'd almost say sleazy. And it's spiffy how blase and sneering he's trying to be in the pissing contest with Raoul. Getting the Victome all worked up, and then he's all '*whine* Heey, I was having fuuuun... hmph. Oh, fine.' when he leaves.

Speaking of Raoul, John Cudia is great, too. I miss him on the tour. crying He actually gives Raoul some character. Enough that you can forgive him for that, 'Can't you seeshe'llneverbeyours!' thing he does. neutral

Sandra Joseph was actually the first Christine I ever saw, back when she was with the tour. Don't remember a thing about her performance, though. *shrugs* The boot I have of Panaro is with that shrieking banshee, Julie Hanson. *shudder*

I have a bootleg of Panaro, too. I mean, how can you not?

xD Of his last preformance, too.

I love Hugh Panaro's mocking voice like when he says "Raise your hand at the level of you eyes!" He says it in such a mocking manner. < 3; xD

I also loved, in my bootleg, he did this little wave thing, while in his chair to Raoul on the other side of the fence-thing( xD I can't spell it...) And he was like ">:3 -wavey- Har har." xDDD; It was so awesome.

xD Howard was funny, though. I was laughing with my friend for around ten minutes after he screamed.

The people in front of us actually got upset. XD;;;
