Adira had sent a text when she'd left her loft just a few minutes prior, reading with a short and concise 'On my way!'. Her leaving had been delayed by a few minutes, however, when she'd discovered something interesting on the schools phone accessible page. She'd originally gone on to access her student email, to check for sure what coffee shop she was headed for.
However, the large bulletin popping up on the front page proved to be far more interesting than the location of the coffee shop. It seemed that because of the recent pandemic, the city was moving into martial law, and all of the school had been closed until further notice. It looked like they didn't actually have to finish their report then. Regardless, she would still meet Olivia, if not to talk about everything than to gossip with her about the sleeping people. Adira was fortunate to not have had her own family be affected.
The black haired girl left for the coffee shop quickly; she hated to be late. In the few blocks there she'd received several texts from her mother and father, and a call from both. She answered them quickly, and finally walked up to the doors of the coffee shop.
She spotted her report partner rather quickly, considering the girl was sitting outside. "Hey Olivia." She smiled and stood by the girl, opening the coffee shop door for her. "Shall we get some coffee? I could really use some." It was true. Adira hadn't had caffeine yet and she wanted some oh so badly.
