Is this a Dream?
-Part One-
It all started on a cold, unforgettable night. There was a full moon out today; the clouds covered it perfectly so when you looked up at the moon there was a silver lining around them. The silver lining.. No one ever sees that silver lining.. I couldn't stop staring at the night sky; as if I was swallowed by its looks. Even when I felt someone watching me, I didn't- couldn't- look away from it. It wasn't until I felt that sensation getting closer to me that I finally looked down from the moon and behind me.. I wont ever forget it.. What I saw that night.. When I turned away from the silver lining I saw a creature. Its body was darker then the black I was used to; its body looked like what you'd think a black hole would look like if you could see it all. Empty. And so hungry. There was a bone-chilling grin spread a crossed it's pure white mask. Was it hungry for me? Or something else? This mask had three crimson lines curving down it's left eye, two curved lines under the same eye and under it's razor-sharp, wolf-like teeth there were three more lines curving up towards it's eye. On the right there was a small chip missing, as if a something had cut it's mask just under it's right eye. When I met the creature's eyes I couldn't move; I was frozen still, no matter how much I told myself to run I couldn't. I just stared helplessly, locked into his cold, redish gold glowing eyes. His eyes.. His? Since when did this creature become a guy? His eyes.. He's so familiar.. But how could this creature- This man- be familiar? As he took a step closer to me a girl about my size; which was an ant compared to this guy, stepped in front of me. She separated me and this man without a second thought. Had she been there before? She wasn't in the road earlier, where did she come from? She seemed to just apear from thin air, but she felt as if she were next to me the whole time. How could that be? I was alone, wasn't I? As I took a closer look at the girl she was wearing a black kimono; it was simple like a robe but it wasn't a robe, there was a symbol on her right arm and her back. I couldn't understand what it said. In her hands there was a sword, silver lining. It looked just like the silver lining of the moon I had behind me. How could that be? It was just a sword, she didn't have that before did she? Did she have it this whole time? Could I have missed it when she first came out? I snapped myself out of my thoughts and looked at her more; something was wrong with this. Not just the man before us but this girl only two or three feet ahead of me. I looked at her skin closer; it was as white as the mask, but she had no red markings on her. Her hair was as black as this man's body. Are they the same? No.. They couldn't be.. She isn't his size.. But whatever he is, she couldn't be like that.. Right? She looked back at me for a moment with a sorrowful yet familiar smile. Familiar? How could she be familiar? I began to feel dizzy as I stood there. I couldn't concentrate. It was hard for me to keep my eyes open, like all my energy had just been sucked out and left me an empty shell to watch death claim me. Before I passed out I looked up at the man; he had started charging at us. This strange, wonderfully familiar girl was calm. My silver lining? I was loosing my battle to stay with them, I was falling sleep. I watched her jump into the air at this man- this creature- as it tried to hit her with it's large claw-like hand. As I slipped away from the world I thought I knew I saw the creature get cut in half. No blood? A part of me died that day.. An icy cold body stopped my fall, moments before my eyes closed I saw who had caught me. My silver lining. But another part came to life.

Little Angel
- Part One -
It all started in a movie theater, a young couple wanted to try something new. The young girl, the little angel, looked like a real angel with her golden brown curls and flawless fair skin. She was just a normal girl who wanted something more from life, and she found it with her new love. Her boy friend, who shall remain nameless, had dark brown hair that was longer then it looked, he wore it jelled up to look like soft waves just for his little angel to play with. He kissed her lips as their bodies met on the floor, a few people noticed what was going on below the seats but went back to the movie like this type of thing happened everyday. Hours passed by and they ended up back at her new house that was still waiting to be moved into, and not fully built in some parts. The walls were a peachish white with tan colored carpets, none of the inside doors locked and were made out of cheap, flimsy wood. In the master bedroom there were two small bathrooms connected by a small hallway but separated by two small white doors that should have been in an old western bar film. The boy was in the bathroom to the left, and to the right was the little angel. The boy leaned against the bathroom counter, fixing his hair to make sure he looked perfect for his little angel, not noticing the bloody figure coming up behind him until it's shadow hit his feet. He looked away from the mirror to see a tall bloody man closing in on him. "H-hey, are you alright Sir?" Stumbled out of his mouth as he backed away, he knew something was more wrong then the man being covered in blood. He ran past the strange bloody man and headed right for his little angel, "Little angel." He said in a rushed panicked tone, she walked out to him with a smile on her face until she saw his fearful eyes. The look on her face asked him what was wrong, but before he could answer the bloody man had caught up to them and slammed the boy to the wall with the door. The boy cried out, "Run little angel." as the man, the undead man who you could now see was missing half of his face, bit into the boy's neck and started to pull back with a mouthful. The little angel ran like she was told to, but ran into a little girl with long black hair and dark eyes. She had pale skin like the little angel, they both jumped back in fear, thinking the other was undead like the bloody man. A small smile appeared on little angel's face, the little girl she had ran into was her younger sister. A door opened up behind her little sister, their mother stood in the doorway with an upset look on her face. "Little angels.." She spoke softly, almost confused as to why this Hell had come down on them now. She pulled her youngest daughter closer to her and tried to get them both into the room she was in, but it was too late now, their fates were set and unchanging. The little angel's lover, bleeding out from his neck, stood behind her and pulled her closer to him. Little angel. She froze in fear, knowing what would happen next. Her life was now changed forever; she had found something new with her love. He tore into her neck unkindly, but she didn't scream out from the pain, she held onto his hand tightly to hide her tears inside. Her little sister was surrounded, but still tried to get her sister back. God I wish I was dead. The undead tore into her as well, her head fell back and looked into the empty room that her mother had tried to get her into, she was looking at someone there. The mother was dragged out of the room to be eaten with her little angels. A little girl sat curled up in the corner of the room. Cold dead eyes of a little angel stared at her, echoing God I wish I was dead in her mind. She felt someone smirking down on them. The little angel would get her death, but it wouldn't save her from the pain like she wanted. The little girl was frozen with fear and sorrow; she could hear the mother's cries and couldn't stop it. The door had closed some when the mother's body was moved, the little girl made her move. She stood shakily and rushed to the door to close it, and once it was closed she went into the closet and sat there. The cries went silent as she thought of her only escape; the open window only a few feet from the door. God I wish I was dead.

I might continue this as well.. Sept. 15th - I will be continuing this but first as their lives before then as their lives after. Wish me luck.

Is this a Dream?
-Part Two-
I bet I confused you in my last entry, sorry about that. I haven't had much time to organize my thoughts, this is the best you'll get until things settle down here. My name is Alexandra Featherwint. I know my last name is so awesome.. "Featherwint," like someone was trying to spell "feather wing" but gave up at the last second and added the "t" so it wouldn't be so obvious. "Feather wing" would be about angels, so maybe it is best my "wing" isn't there? I am no angel. My name is Alexandra, I am nineteen years old and this is the story of how I died.
I could hear the birds singing outside and for once in my life I enjoyed it. I used to think of their songs as the most annoying alarm clock in nature; with their cracked up voices and sick sounding caws, but now it was as beautiful as your first healthy breath after you've been sick for over a week. It wasn't anything you'd normally be cheerful about but when you think you're dying then wake up to find out you're alive and well, well then that's the best feeling in the world. All the panic from your life mellows down and you're thankful for even the birds waking you up like they always do. The little things.
Even though I was awake I didn't open my eyes yet; I was afraid of what I might see if I did. I still had those two people on my mind; my silver lining and the hungry creature. Her slicing through his body like it was nothing ran through my mind. Why wasn't there any blood? Where did he go? What had she done? Was I just dreaming that, or did it really happen? I blushed some as I remembered what had happened before I fainted; I had fallen back onto that girl's breasts and felt her arms wrap around me as she caught me. It felt so real, it must have happened. It did happen. It wasn't just a dream. I could feel it in my gut. Well that, and when I finally opened my eyes she was there with me.
I was on my bed above my blankets and she was sitting next to me by my hip reading something. Wait.. "Is that my journal?!" I practiclly screamed at her, I didn't know who she was and at the moment all I cared to know about her was why she had my journal in her hands. She was obviously nosey and I had to put a stop to it before she got to anything embarrassing, which by the look on her face had already happened. She was smirking now, it didn't suit her as well as that sad smile she had when I first met her but it still sent shivers down my spine. What's wrong with me? "Give me back my journal. Why are you reading it anyways? You're in MY home, guests shouldn't be so rude." Not that she was really a guest in my house, I know I didn't let her in but that wasn't as important right now as getting her away from my life on paper. I sat up just to be yanked right back down by a red ribbon that I now noticed wrapped around my limbs and neck to hold me down on the bed. She tied me to by bed? "What's going on here? What are these things?" I tried to free myself one more time, but I only met failure not freedom. Just what was she up to? She saved my life last night and now she had me tied to my bed like the victom of a horror movie that's about to be chopped up. Only a red ribbon instead of chains and a girl reading my journal instead of a madman with a chainsaw or axe. She just ignored all of my questions and continued reading on. She stopped reading long enough to glance up at me and speak, "Relax, you won't be getting out of those anytime soon. You'll only hurt yourself." Then returned to digging into my life more. I swear I'll get her back for this. My anger and stubborn-ness made it so I couldn't just give in and give up, I had to get out of this strang ribbon. At first nothing happened but then my body started to burn and tingle where the ribbon made contact with my flesh; like the ribbon was fighting me. She seemed a little suprised by this, like it shouldn't have been happening. She had now stopped reading my journal and closed it on her lap, using her pinky as a book mark. The burning became more intense, more unbearable, but I didn't stop. Then it was all over; the pain had left me panting on my bed with a slight blush across my cheeks. It felt as if I had just ran a mile in a few seconds; I could barely breath at first but the pain was gone. My breathing became more normal and I could move again without much trouble. I moved my hand up to my forehead to cover my face, now realizing just how awkward I was acting in front of the strange woman, who of course just had to be staring at me. When I felt more calm I moved my hand down to my stomach and sat up, my legs fell apart; still a bit weak from what had happened. What happened? I grew even more confused as I looked around my bed, no ribbons in sight. The strange woman seemed even more confused than I was. All I could think about now, as I remembered why I broke free to begin with, was getting her away from my journal. She looked at me as if five heads just popped out of me, my blush that had faded now came back. Why did she have to look at me so much? I felt my neck some, more nervous but glad that I didn't feel any extra necks or heads. "Now give me back my journal." I demanded as I sat up and moved my hand out to her, waiting for my book. I felt less awkward when I focused on what I was aiming for this whole time. She looked more confused then started to laughing for no apparent reason, "What's so funny?" I asked, now more confused than angery at the stranger reading my journal. My silver lining.. "You are." She stated simpily, her voice caught me off gaurd again. It was so sweet and strange, it was perfect and fit my silver lining. "What ever you are, you are a strange one Alexandra." My whole body shivered as she said my name, I was almost freaked out by it but realized she must have learned it from my journal- if not the journal then anything else in my room she might have checked out. My hand was still out waiting for my journal, it hadn't moved at all even though the rest of me had almost shut off from that weird shiver. "I'm just me, now give me back my journal." She shrugged her shoulders as she turned away from me to finish off the last page of it, aparently she only had a few sentances to go before she was done with it and tossed it at me. I caught it after a few fumbles, which made me blush more from flailing around in front of my silver lining. "Thanks.." I said sarcasticly; now she knew everything about me up until last week and I didn't even know her name. "What do you mean you don't know what I am? It's obvious that I'm human, as human as you. And what were those ribbons?" I set my journal in my lap to keep her from getting it again, not like it mattered since she already read it all. I was no where near done with my questions, flashes of the creature before made me swallow hard. "And what was that.. Thing?" I leaned forward now, looking into her eyes as I asked the next question, "What is your name?" I decided to leave the questions at that for now, allowing her time to answer the first few before dumping more questions on her. "You may call me Silver, we'll just stick with that for now. What were you doing outside last night?" I was glad to have finally learned her name but her ignoring my other questions ticked me off a little. It was my turn to laugh at her though, "Don't tell me your last name is Lining? And it isn't any of your buisness what I was doing outside last night." I crossed my arms over my chest, as if I was trying to prove to her I wasn't going to budge on it. "You didn't answer my other questions." Well she did answer one, I haven't been sleeping long if it had just happened last night. I don't remember what I was doing out there though, I just found myself walking around in the road. All the trees were so beautiful and the moon seemed to call out to me everytime I looked at it, this time it just seemed to take me over. All I remember before the fight last night was looking out a window at the moon and then everything became fuzzy and when I came to I was being watched by some creature. She ignored my comment on her last name, I must have confused her with that one or she thought it was too stupid to even answer. Why would she know about the silver lining? I never wrote about those parts of my life. Her face became more serious than before, she seemed more angery now. "It became my business when I risked my life to protect yours." I felt myself sinking as she brought up death. The feeling only got worse as she began to answer my questions just by filling me in on what she was doing outside that night. She had been fighting four of those creatures at the same time and was somehow winning against them all even though they were all so large. She told me how my scent distracted them and drew them in to me. I had been surrounded by them, but she was able to kill them all as they tried to eat me. Why were they after me? I had given into her questions and told her why I was out there, she seemed even more confused than I did. Again. What was going on?

Grave Girl
The Sight of Death, A New Sight
The sun was just peeking over the mountains shining down on a school bus; children were lining up to enter it while their teacher marked them off. Their parents were giving them last second safety tips and reminders that the children brushed off as worried nonsense. A small boy nearly eight years old, pulled the girl's hair in the seat before him and laughed as she glared back. The bus was fully loaded and started off down the road, leaving behind the waving parents and their school, the student's voices rang with delight and wonder; they had never been out on a field trip before. Some of the children's parents tagged along behind the bus, trying to keep up with its speeds as it drove faster and faster just to make it up the hills that would take them out of their small town and into the nearby city. A gust of wind blew by the bus, colder than their usual spring winds, as the bus driver started to cough. He was a kind old man, around his 70's and still able to work. He should have been retired by now and had promised his wife he would retire after this trip, he loved his job. It wasn't much pay but he got to watch over the children he cared for and treated as his own. In this small town everyone knew everyone, there weren't many young children but the majority of them were under his care today; six girls and seven boys all ranging from five to nine years old. The teacher leaned over to the driver and asked if he was all right, he nodded and smiled kindly before reassuring her he'd be fine. She was in her mid twenties, fresh out of college and new to her job; her eyes still shined with the hope and love that most in her situation would lose in a few years of working with children. The same little girl from before was now crying because the boy had pulled her hair rougher and had hurt her, her best friend was on her knees turned back to the boy yelling at him. The teacher sighed as she got out of her seat and went back to settle whatever had happened between the children, as she reached the back and got the friend to quiet down the bus driver's cough had changed; it was more violent and then stopped. The bus began to change lanes before flying off the shoulder into the forest on the hill next to the road. The children began to scream and cry out for their parents, the teacher tried to keep the children closest to her in their seats but as the bus started to roll over it became impossible for her to do anything other than hold onto the little boy next to her. She covered his head with her arms as her body was slammed into the top of the bus and back to the floor several times. Several students had been flung from their seats and now flew around the bus like flies trying to get out of a mesh tent. When the bus finally stopped rolling their screams were silenced, lifeless bodies laid over the right side of the bus that was now on the forest floor, their blood covered the inside of the bus and continued dripping down onto what was left of the teacher's body. She was still alive and her arm still held onto what was left of the little boy's body. A piece of glass had cut through her arm and into the boy's neck; he was dead and still more beaten up. The woman tried to cry out for help but her vision went red with blood, then to black as death claimed another soul.
A small, frail-looking girl opened her dark blue eyes and shivered, cold sweat covered her body but stayed on just her and her clothes. Her bed was still dry and warm but she didn't feel like sleeping again, she had to get to work. She sat up and shivered at the cold morning air, removing her thick blanket only made her shiver worse but she ignored it and remade her bed before walking into the bathroom. Her black hair stuck to her skin, her dress acted more like pants and a tight T-shirt. She needed a shower. With an unreadable look she removed her clothing and set them in a basket full of dirty clothes from the past week, it was a Saturday morning meaning she had to do her house chores but with the new deaths she'd have to make more coffins soon. By the time she was out of the shower and fully dressed the clock read 4:09 AM, if she got started on the house work now she could start up with the coffins. She hated making children's coffins so she wanted to get it over with as soon as she could, 'Maybe I should give their parents a discount..' Aimi nodded to herself, all ready silently agreeing with her thoughts, "It would be nice don't you think?" She asked her shadow, all these years alone made her talk to herself for company; her shadow had become her best friend since it was always with her and never left her side- obviously. Her chores went by faster then she had thought they would; in just three hours she had cleaned her two story house top to bottom and everything in between. All that was left for her to do was hang up her clothes to dry, her washer and dryer had died so she had to wait for her "big brother", Chinatsu, to come over and fix them. He had no blood relation to her but they had grown up together so he was like her older brother. Midway through her hanging up her clothes in the only non-grave yard part of her back yard her favorite and only visitor showed up, he came around the side of her house knowing she had just cleaned the house. He watched her back for a few minutes until she spoke, "Natsu what are you doing over there? Are you not feeling well?" Her voice was full of concern as she wondered if it was a bad idea to have asked him to come over to fix her things. "If you aren't feeling well you should go back home and rest, or nap in my bed if you can't make it home." As she spoke she walked over to him, still holding a pair of her panties that she was about to hang up. He just laughed her worries off, "No I'm fine I just haven't seen you like this in awhile, I think you were thirteen last time." He smiled and patted her head, "I promise I'm fine, I'm as good as I'll ever be." Her stomach growled causing him to frown some, "Have you eaten yet?" She shook her head no, "I wasn't hungry when I woke up.. I had another vision and have a lot of work ahead of me.." He smiled a little, a force of habit. "I'll help you with the coffins after we're both done with our chores. But first we need to eat; you aren't the only one that hasn't eaten today." She smiled a little, "Thank you.. Were you not feeling well before? You usually take better care of yourself." He sat down on the stairs going up to her back door, his head now at her eye level, "Yeah that and I forgot to set my alarm so I left home in a rush. I didn't want to keep you waiting, but it looks like I was a little late on saving you the trouble of having to do your laundry like this." She shifted her weight to her left foot, her head tilting to the side a little, "It's all right, really, I don't mind waiting for you. If you get hungry before you're done tell me, I can make us something." He is a much better cook than she is but she could at least make a decent breakfast, it would never match his cooking skills but they could eat it without getting sick so it was at least healthy. "Sounds good, if I get done first I'll make breakfast." He stood up and headed into the house once she nodded, agreeing to him making their food. They both lived alone so they both know how to cook and take care of themselves, but she had always wondered why he never took her up on her offer to move in with her. It must have been lonely for him like it was for her, but he always rejected her offer. "I wonder why he still won't move in.. Do you think there's something wrong here?" She asked her shadow that was on the towel in front of her now, of course she never got the answer she was waiting for. She had finished up hanging the laundry up on the line and sighed as she stretched, popping her back a few times and letting out a slightly more relaxed sigh.
It was almost 8:00 AM when she entered her house again, the smell of burning food filled the air as she started coughing, while she opened the nearest window she looked around to find Chinatsu on the floor. She tossed his burning food into the sink as she rushed to his side and rolled him over onto his back and checked his pulse, even though he was clearly breathing she still had to make sure he was alive and that the breathing wasn't just her wishful thinking. "Hey are you okay? Can you talk?" She asked with a shaky, panicked voice, his eyes opened some showing off his cool blue eyes that got brighter the longer he watched her. "Y-yes, sorry about that, I burned the eggs didn't I? The coughing just caught me off guard.. I'll be fine; it’s nothing to worry about." He pet her hair and felt down a few strands that had fallen over her shoulder and onto his chest, his fingers played with the strands as she continued to worry over him, "Do you need to rest? You should at least sit down, I'll make us breakfast so don't try anything else.." She helped him up, even though he really didn't need it anymore thanks to his little nap on the kitchen floor, and sat him down on a chair at the counter island. He had a perfect view of her back side as she worked on making his breakfast, she tried doing all the things he had planned on but added more fruits from the only shop in the town. She didn't have to do much with the fruit so while the eggs were cooking she cut the fruit up and put them on a plate for him and went back to their eggs. She started snacking on them and watched her butt as she flipped the eggs over; her hair was tied up in a pony-tail while she cooked so it gave him a better view of her figure. 'I'm so going to Hell for this.' He thought to himself as he started to suck on part of a watermelon to get the juices out of it. She had French toast going on another burner that he had to remind her about so it wouldn't burn, he got up and came up behind her; passing by closer than he had to. She didn't think anything of it, but she did look up at him to make sure he looked well enough to cook. "Are you sure you should be up and about all ready? I can take care of these things." He shook his head, "Yes I am perfectly fine. I can at least help you with these things.. Oh the eggs are done you should get a plate for them before they burn to." She jumped a little and turned off the egg's burner and ran over to the plates she had taken out and brought them over to unload the eggs on. While she was worrying over him her eggs were totally forgotten, luckily for them their breakfast was finished without being burned and they could sit down and eat it in some peace. They sat there talking and picking at their food for over an hour, they still had plenty of time to finish the coffins before they would be needed. He had explained to her what was wrong with her washer and dryer, briefly looking back at the back door where his travel-sized tool box was waiting for him. She filled him in on her vision, and the need for all the coffins at once, they had a moment of silence like they usually got when her visions held the screams of children. Aimi ate a piece of watermelon, leaving behind a seed with some juice on it. "You have a little friend on your cheek Ai." She blushed some and wiped it away, "Thanks." She smiled a little making him smile more. "I'll go get some wood set up for later." He didn't want to sit there watching her like an old pervert anymore so he wanted to get right to work as soon as he could. She frowned a little as she got up as well, "I'll join you once I get the dishes finished.." As she spoke he was all ready heading out with his mini tool box, just in case he needed it. 'We have to make fifteen coffins, thirteen for children.. We have a lot of work ahead of us..' She sighed to herself, depressing herself more just by remembering the vision she had before. She was already getting a little tired just thinking about it, worn out from the years of death visions. She put the dishes away after cleaning and drying them. She walked outside and over to where her coffin workshop is and watched Chinatsu for a moment, he didn't work for her she was the only one that was really in charge of this graveyard other then the security guards in the main grave yard. She wondered why he was always coming over to help her out with anything she needed and wouldn't accept the payment he should be getting for his hard work. He didn't seem to notice her so as he was bringing in the right sized wood she was starting on the sizing and decorations they should have inside and out, she'd have to have coffins that wouldn't leak at all of course and that would keep the dead smell in.
Days had passed since the bus accident; the parents had come in and set up their children's funerals. She gave them all a special deal and was preparing for the first pair, the children had been best friends and the parents wanted them to be with each other. Apparently their family had also been friends; their mothers and fathers, siblings and pets were all friends. Aimi sighed as she thought about the children; moments before she had died that little boy had pulled her hair. Their screams were distant but she still felt the pain she had the moment she heard them, like other deaths only so much worse. She had put their bodies together as best as she could, the parents had outfits picked out for the two girls and it was up to Aimi to clean their bodies and dress them. Natsu had been banned from these parts since she liked to do it alone; children were always treated more gently and in private. She knew Natsu well enough to know he isn't a ***** but she wanted the children be extra safe, maybe her parents were right about her being the mother hen type. A slight smile came across her lips as she finished dressing the first little girl, the protector of the two. Her face wasn't torn up as much as her body so her coffin could be opened, just the head part at least. She made the coffins match the children; just from the vision she had she could sense what type of child they were, their likes and dislikes, their sizes, everything. She closed her eyes, trying to focus on when they were alive; she could see the little girls giggling as they talked to each other before getting on the bus. She turned around to face the crying child, though no tears came from her eyes she could still hear her crying over the boy's flirting. She kept the little girl's images in her mind as she cleaned her body and dressed it, time seemed to fly by as she did and her stomach began to growl. Around the same time her cell began to sing in her pocket, since she was done with both of the girls she answered it just to find Natsu on the other end, "Hey is something wrong?" She sounded slightly confused as she started to leave her body work shop. "Yeah I just bought too much food for dinner and need someone to share it with, are you free tonight?" Natsu sounded a little distracted and the sound of rushing air filled the back ground. 'Is he on his bike?' She thought to herself as she answered, "Yes I just got done with work. I just have to get cleaned up myself so I may not be downstairs when you get here." Natsu smiled as he turned down the street that went right to her house, "I'll get things started as soon as I get there. I'll see you in a few." Like Aimi had thought he was on his bike and was already on his way over. 'What would he have done if I said no?' She walked into the main house and rushed up the stairs after saying their good byes.
Chinatsu had been in Aimi's house for at least ten minutes before he started getting bored, he could hear the shower running in the floor above him, of course being a guy he wondered what was going on in there. His whole "buying too much for dinner" thing was just made up so he could come over again, knowing what she had to deal with he had to check in on her. He looked at the clock in the kitchen and sighed; it was already 9:30 PM and they both hadn't eaten any dinner, he wasn't surprised she hadn't eaten yet she usually doesn't eat. He found himself wondering up the stairs and into her room, a Victorian gothic room her mom had raised her in since birth. He sat on her bed and bounced a little, laughing quietly to himself as he laid back on it and watched the fabric streaming down move with the wind. A small shiver came over him as the wind blew in, he didn't mind it though he was more relaxed than cold and apparently he was more tired than he had thought before, the next thing he knew he was waking up to Aimi crawling onto the bed to wake him up. "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to pass out here." He blushed some as he noticed she was just in a towel, it was more tight than he had thought towels could be and showed off a lot more skin then he was prepared for. She looked worried as she felt his forehead, "It's fine if you're tired you're welcome to sleep here.. But are you alright? You don't look so well." His blush darkened as he closed his eyes, too late since he had already had an eyeful of curves that belonged to a woman that was like a little sister to him. "Y-yeah I'm fine. Just hungry. So I'm going to go downstairs and reheat dinner, so you stay here and get changed and I'll be downstairs, okay?" He rushed out of her room and spoke quickly so she wouldn't have a chance to make him stay or to see his worsening blush. She sat on the edge of her bed and looked at her shadow, "He's acting weird today isn't he?" She shrugged her shoulders as she got up and closed the window and proceeded to get dressed. Natsu wasn't so comfortable and at ease as Aimi was, he was pacing her kitchen and thinking about anything he could to not think about her. He took a deep breath in, held it as long as he could and slowly let it out. The food was already on the stove heating up so he had more time to try to forget what he saw. Aimi came into the kitchen and said hello to him, causing him to nearly jump out of his skin. Her eye brow raised some, "What was that for?" He turned to her and smiled, "Oh, I um.. Just was spacing out and you kind of scared me there. I wasn't really paying attention." She looked at the food which was now boiling in the pot; some of it was jumping out at them only to land a few inches away from the main source. Natsu followed her eyes and saw the food, his eyes got wide as he turned the burner off and quickly moved it off of the red-hot burner. Aimi laughed softly at him, "I haven't seen you act this strange since you had a crush on my mom when you were nine." His blush came back as he stuttered some, "Y-you remember that far back?" She smiled a little and went to go get two bowls for him, "Yeah I remember a lot of things." He stood aside as she took over the food, "So who is this new crush? Anyone I know?" He looked away from her to think, "No, she's some girl from out of town is all. She's leaving town tonight so it's nothing that'll linger." She nodded some, a more solemn look on her face as she served him his food at the seat he wasn't even at yet. It wasn't like she was jealous she just didn't like the thought of losing more people she cares about. "Sit." She ordered, he nervously followed her order and sat where the food was. She already had a spoon in the soup he brought so he started to play with the chunks of vegetables. Aimi disliked most meat so he was sure to make a vegetable soup for her, and he thought he was getting sick so the soup would kill two birds with one stone. She sat down across from him, which made him worry more since she usually sat next to him. "Like I said it's nothing big, the thing with the other girl. Nothing is going on there." He tried making her feel better which only caused the sad look in her eyes to worsen; she was definitely in deep thought. "What's on your mind?" She put some food in her mouth to make him know she didn't want to talk then stuck her tongue out at him playfully, just like when they were kids. He smiled some and got a spoon full of liquid, blew on it, then shot it at her just for her to dodge it and shoot one right back at him that wasn't cooled off. It landed on his shirt since he was slow to get up, but once the heat hit him he jumped up and started to bounce and wave his wet spot off. Aimi looked shocked and immediately started to apologize; she had thought he'd move out of the way. "N-no i-it's fine.." He had finally calmed down about a minute later and had taken his shirt off to wipe his chest off. "I'll be fine, it’s nothing, really." She gave into him and sighed, "Alright but if it starts hurting tell me." Time seemed to fly by as they ate, now in a much better mood than before.
It was a little past 11:00 PM by the time they were done eating, and cleaning up after themselves when Aimi told him he was spending the night. It was late and he had no good argument against staying there with her. "We can have a sleep over like we used to, do you want to sleep in my bed? I'm sure we can find something that fits. Dad and you have similar body types so there should be something in there." She sounded a little sad as she started to speak about her father, "Don't worry about it I'll take care of it." He smiled softly as she thanked him before she yawned softly, she hadn't slept well the night before and it was finally catching up to her. She had spent the whole day just preparing the two girls for their last day above ground. "I'm getting tired so I'll be waiting for you in my room, take your time.." She walked away slowly, leaving him to find some pajamas in her parent's old room. She hadn't changed a thing about the house and what was in it other than how many plates she sets out for dinner, but she will find herself setting out three when it was just her. Natsu followed her up the stairs but continued on down the hall when she had entered her room and closed the door behind her to change, he entered her parent's bedroom and started shifting through her dad's drawers; he had done this before when he was maybe tenish. He laughed at the thought of the child him as he pulled out his favorite pajama outfit, silky black with blue trimming that matched his eyes. They showed off his eyes and Aimi's father's eyes, he had worn the button up shirt once and got a kiss on the cheek from Aimi so its been his favorite pair ever since. "Such a dirty kid huh?" He smirked a little at his thoughts before taking his PJs into Aimi's room in time to see her slip on her night. It looked just like the ones that her mother used to wear; in fact it might have been her mother's at one point. "I thought you'd be dressed already." He gave her some time to adjust the dress; it was a little too big for her so she had to work to keep herself covered up. He opened his eyes when he heard her blanket move and the sounds of the sheets moving as she crawled onto them. "I was looking for something that fits but it’s all either too big or too small.." He thought for a moment as he took his still slightly damp shirt off and tossed it into her basket of dirty laundry and started to put on the silky shirt. "You're wearing those?" She asked as she lay up some and tilted her head a little, he looked a little worried. "Yeah what's wrong with it?" She laid back and laughed some, "Nothing at all, just hurry up over there." She closed her eyes and curled up some, the bed was still a little cold. He took off his pants and slid on the pants as well and set his jeans on a chair in her room before jumping onto the bed causing her body to fly up off of the bed and hit down. She looked shocked at first but came back at him with a pillow as she said, "I'm seriously tired this play can wait for next time or something." Her sentence finished with a yawn, ending with a soft squeak that made her blush some as she nuzzled into her pillow. He smiled some and got under the blanket with her, "Alright I give this time, we'll play later." He laid back as she snuggled up to him, just like old days. Only in the old days he didn't have the picture of her in just a towel leaning over him. Which just made his blush came back, luckily for him the lights were all out so she wouldn't see it at all.
