So the annoying thing about the quarantine and the mass exodus from Destiny City was that everyone stayed inside at night. The really annoying thing was that his favorite part of the city was completely deserted--cordoned off by the National Guard. And while Spinel could be daring, he drew the line in the sand at going up against the National Guard. He might be superhuman, but he wasn't bulletproof. So, instead of stealing starseeds properly, he was sitting outside one of the uptown churches and waiting for the odd person to come out. Because of the hysteria, there were plenty of people inside the building.
He had collected exactly one starseed, and it was warm against his fingers as he leaned against one of the posts of the iron fence. It was rather annoying, how slow the night was going. There wasn't a senshi in sight...
Which brought up another question. Why were all the senshi suddenly gone? Everyone in downtown Destiny City couldn't have been a senshi, that would be ridiculous. But there was no way to tell who was who, and the hospital was too crowded to check. Spinel huffed and pressed his knuckles to his lips, arms over his chest. This got very boring, very fast.

Rhodizite was still rather upset, if not horribly frustrated over quite a lot of things, including but not limited to his fight with Alkaid, his more recent fight with Virgo, and the fact he couldn't seem to concentrate. All in all, it was making his job a whole hell of a lot harder than it should have been.
The upside was that recently... he'd not really been in any fights. After the sleep-spell (as he liked to call it), had hit the city, he'd noticed a rather significant decrease in senshi. What he couldn't be sure of, was if it was because many of them had been hit by it (in which case they should really start considering some sort of raid of the hospital wards - which was easier thought than done given the amount of people there), or were too busy visiting loved ones to care about crime fighting.
There had also been a decrease of people walking outside at night in general, as far as he could tell. It'd been an even slower night for Rhodizite, and he'd pretty much been ready to pack it up and head home (intent on venting his frustration on something a tad more productive, like marking papers) when a rather unusual aura caught his attention.
Curiosity got the better of him, and the lieutenant veered away from his previous path, following the aura as best he could (which wasn't saying much - for some reason he was having trouble focusing on it). It was pretty much a miracle when he finally caught sight of the lone boy, sitting outside a random church. He'd heard of corrupted senshi before; he'd known the negaverse counted with a handful of them, but he'd never really laid eyes on one. Rhodizite figured this was probably a more interesting endeaver than going back home, "You," he murmured mildly as he drew nearer, "Have a really interesting aura," then again, he, himself, must've been a sight to look upon. He still wasn't entirely healed from his most recent fight; there was a cut on his forehead from where he'd hit the ground, and a deeper one on the back of his head, though that one wasn't visible. The rest of the damage was hidden under his clothes and thus impossible to see.
Despite the fact he was talking to an 'ally', his chain remain visible, hanging limply from one hand.
