heart And as far as advice for improvement..*thinks* I think you're most definitely on the right track,because this is beautiful,but if you want to create more proportion, go on google and look up body drawings,for both realistic and anime/manga.Try several different shapes with the eyes,cat-slant...wide eyed,almond shaped.The same for the faces.You've got an oval shape here,but try for different angles,right side and left side,as well as the back.And when working on clothing,add some more curve to add dimension and just ever so lightly add in a faint shadow within the curves.
For example,look at the art I made here
Eye her proportions and how I made it look as if she has weight added to her,thanks to the clothes.You can make that kind of illusion with the textures.
3nodding And with hair,work on the making it look like there are strands,and try different stuff,that also adds the illusion of weight.
