Llujah frowned as he stared into a large fish tank filled with blue water and tiny goldfish. He scowled a bit and tapped the tank with his finger and watched the fish inside swim around. An employee saw him doing this and walked over to him. "Hey, you shouldn't tap the glass like that, okay?" Llu sighed dramatically and looked to the employee. "But they're so boring!" She shrugged. "Then go look at something else." The spawn smiled and wagged his tail happily. "Good idea!"

Llu ran down the isles of the pet store excitedly. He always loved to come to the store to see all of the animals they had, even if they couldn't buy any. His favorite animals to look at were the cats, and that is exactly where he was headed. He entered a familiar glass door that lead into a small room where a wall of carrying cages filled with cats were. As he entered, a caterwaul of meowing came from the cats and Llu smiled. He walked to one of the cages, wings twitching, and began to pet one of the cats inside. It purred and he giggled. The other cats began to meow louder for attention and the Greed spawn proceeded to pet each and every one.

Llujah stopped petting the cats after hearing a sound behind him. He turned around, confused, to see a tall curvy lady with a pretty cat in her arms. He grinned at the lady and began petting the other kitties again. "Hiya! I've never seen you 'round here before! That's a real nice cat you got!" The spawn pointed to the cat in the arms that was being cradled by the lady. While the cats in the cages purred to Llu's touch, he began to feel a tickle in his nose and sneezed, making the cats recoil back slightly.

Llu wiped away the boogers ungracefully on his jacket sleeve and sniffed, looking towards the lady again. She had two weird tentacle-things at her hips, much like the wings at Llu's hips. They reminded Llu slightly of the tentawings that a boy he met at the aquarium had, only they weren't wings and were a different color. After noting these observations, Llujah smiled. "My name's Llujah! What's yours?"

Llujah looked at the lady, bewildered slightly. "Huh?" He looked up to where one of the tentacles was pointing and saw his halo tipped over his left horn. He smiled and giggled a bit. "Oh yeah, huh? I do got halos!" He smiled at the lady. "I got two! One by my horn..." He pointed up to his horn. "...And one 'round my ankle!" He wiggled his right foot to show off the halo. He giggled again. "They're lots of fun to play with!"

Llujah looked back up to the lady and noticed that she had the same type of halos that he did! He had never seen anyone with halos like him. Curious. His eyes widened at the lady's comment on him and he blushed a bit. He grinned happily and swished his tail back and forth, unintentionally disturbing the cats. "Thank you, Lissy. I love my hair too. It's so pretty." He petted his shaggy pink hair; embarrassed, but happy. "You're really pretty, too!"

Llujah smiled back at the pretty lady Lissy. She looked really nice and fun and super-duper pretty! If she was his big sister, he would want to play with her all of the time! Suddenly, he felt a presence around his tail. He turned his head around and saw Lissy's tentacles reaching towards his tail. Llu yelped and spun around, keeping his tail behind him. That... "That was scary..." he told the lady.

Llujah shivered slightly while he watched Lissy put the scared cat away. Even with a light jacket on, it was still chilly in the cat room. He looked to Lissy, who had picked up some keys on the floor, and smiled, twirling his skirt happily. "Yeah! Let's explore!" He ran out of the cat room back into the main room of the store and looked around. "But where are we gonna explore...?"

Llujah sniffed slightly and smiled a bit at Lissy. "S'okay. You're pretty and nice, so I'll forgive ya." He giggled and gave the lady's legs a quick hug before backing away so the tentacles wouldn't grab his tail once again. That was startling. He twirled in his skirt a little before adjusting his jacket and looking around the store for new places to explore.

He looked to Lissy after her suggestion was posed. "Yeah, that could work. My mama's good with birds, she told me. She's a vetri... vetrinareeuun. Yeah." Llu giggled bashfully. That word was difficult to say. He smiled and skipped along happily. He reached the birds cages and gazed up at them through the glass and bars. Many were chirping and squawking, while others were hopping around. A good few were pecking at each other. Llu held his ears and turned to Lissy. "The birds are super loud!"

Llujah's ears were still shielded when the spawn saw that Lissy had turned tail and left the vicinity of the birds. Llu's eyes widened a bit and he called after her. "Hey! Where are you going?!" She was too far away to hear him. Llu could barely hear himself over the din. He cringed as the birds began squawking even louder. He opted to follow Lissy, wherever she was going. It had to be better than the birds.

Llu followed Lissy away from the noise and found himself by some small puppies. He grinned and cheered up instantly. He followed where Lissy was motioning and indeed spotted the "super fuzzy" puppy. He smiled and petted the dog, who wagged its' tail in contentment. Llu looked back up to Lissy. "This dog is super-duper cute! My mama doesn't like dogs that much, though. She's a sheep, so she's kinda scared of dogs."

Llujah nodded in confirmation. "Mmhmm! She's a sheep. She's an Eee... Aleean. Eilian. She's got sheep ears, a sheep tail, and super curly hair! She's super pretty, too!" Llujah smiled and continued to pet the fluffy puppy as if having an Eilian for a mother was the most natural thing in the world. He looked back up to Lissy and grinned. "Nope! She's not here. Her work is close-by, so when she's busy, I get to come here! It's super fun!"

Llu stopped petting the fluffy dog and turned his attention to a small brown Dachshund right next to it. He smiled and rubbed it's back until it eventually rolled over and Llu began rubbing it's stomach. "We don't have any pets. My mama's really busy and my little brother and I aren't responsible enough to take care of a pet." Llu frowned a bit and continued rubbing the Dachshund's belly. "I kind of want a fish 'cause they're easy to take care of, but they're so boring that I don't want one."

Llujah blinked at the words "new mom." He looked at Lissy curiously and in wonder. "'New mom,'" he thought out loud. "What happened to your..." Llujah's eyes widened in realization and he abruptly stopped petting the dogs to clamp his hands over his mouth. He was such an idiot! He lowered his hands slowly and looked up to Lissy apologetically. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to ask that..."

Llu began rubbing the Dachshund's belly again and looked blankly into the distance, glad to change the subject. "I don't want a rabbit. I don't really like little pets like that. A cat might work though... unless one of my family gets allergies. Then we couldn't keep it..." Llujah pondered out loud, hoping to steer the conversation off of any unsavory topics.
