The large, brightly colored male, lifted his head to flick his hair out of his eyes letting the sun from the outside filter into his eyes. He stretched out in his temporary home, he was curled up into the small den that he had found the last night he was happy to have a moment to settle into a space and enjoy the time that he had sleeping and relaxing for a little while. He had restored his energy, his paws weren't bother him anymore he was glad to have a chance to relax and not wander for a little bit. Sure he LOVED wandering around he really hadn't found a place or a reason to wander to stop and settle for the moment.
He yawned slightly before he started getting ready to get up. He flicked his tail around before standing up with smile on his face, he couldn't help but to feel pretty excited about the next morning. He always loved waking up and wanting to wander around and meet new people and do new things. There was never really was a time where he was afraid to see the world.
He lifted himself off of his belly then started to wander toward the front of the den then yawned. He knew where he was going. He then decided what he was going to do next. He looked back thinking about if he was going to come back to there or not. He was pretty sure that he wasn't going to head back. He looked back to what was in front of him before he started to wander toward the watering hole. He needed something to drink after sleeping for a while.
He moved closer to the water that he craved at the moment. He got a little closer to him then lapped up some of the water enjoying the feeling of the cool water slide down his throat before he then sat back on his haunches closing his eyes thinking about what he was going to do durning the day.

It was a beautiful day, making the blue lioness' coat shimmer and shine as she moved with a lazy grace. She had slipped away from her daughter and her litter. She adored them, she really did but the cubs, they were everywhere. Ecaterina had loved being a mother, when it had been her cubs, but being a grandmother? She just wasn't ready to be classed as old yet. She tilted her jaw up, unable to believe she was a grandmother of 8 already. It was impossible.
She sighed to herself, her paws hitting the ground with light steps as she moved. She had missed walking, she realised. She had stayed with her little girl, Ili'ella, for a few weeks, helping her raise her new babies but she was eager to move now. She would still return to her little girl, of course, when it was getting dark. Being a single mother was hard and Ecaterina wanted to support her, but for now she wanted to keep moving.
The sun was getting to her though, and her mouth parted in light pants. She closed her eyes, scenting the refreshing scent of water nearby. Water! That's what she needed, then she could keep walking. She changed her path and moved swiftly towards the watering hole.
She didn't notice the figure sitting beside it until she drew closer, and her eyes took in the male lion with eagerness. She wasn't old so she still enjoyed talking to a boy or two. Harmlessly, of course, but mmmm, he looked good.
"Hello," she greeted as she drew closer, her voice breathy, her eyes firmly taking him in. She moved to the water's edge, lowering her head to lap at the water, still watching him.

Neo'h relaxed a little more as he listened to the sounds around him, the water was calming and even though he was enjoying the sounds around him he noticed the sound of feet. He waited a moment they weren't his own he knew that for sure but he wanted to figure out who they belonged to. But then he remembered that would never work if he didn't open his eyes. He chuckled at himself and as he opened his eyes he heard the voice of another. He looked over at her with a smile on his face. She was a pretty lioness.
He smiled slightly then nodded at the lioness. "Hello there miss." He said quietly giving her a slight nod of the head. He looked over to the side looking to see if anyone else was following her. He shrugged it off before turning toward her with a smile on his face. "What brings you around here miss?" He asked curiously. He had been wandering around here for a few days now and he had never seen this lioness before.
He chuckled slightly before grinning at her. "I'm sorry, that was a little rude of me. My name is Neo'h it is very nice to meet you." He grinned at her with a big smile on his face. He was glad to see that he was going to have some company even if it was going to be just for a little bit. He flicked his hair out of his eyes as he looked at the lioness, she looked just a little older but not too much on the older side. She still seemed very youthful.

Mmmm, he was a polite one, Ecaterina mused to herself as she raised her maw from the dirt, quickly lapping off any excess water that clung to her fur. She'd hate to look foolish in front of this...delicious looking male. She did love bright colours.
She practically began to purr at the term 'miss'. Ooh, it was such a nice term. Designed for youthful females and pretty unmated women, it was the perfect term to describe her...several years prior. Now she was more a missus, but oh, she would take the term miss with grateful ease. She had missed those days, and fluttering her eyes, perhaps a tad over dramatically at him, she wouldn't mind recapturing a few of her past glory days with this male.
"Oh, no, no. Not rude at all, kind sirrrr," she purred. "Neo'h? What a fascinating name. I am Ecaterina." She didn't offer a nickname. She didn't like any nicknames stemming from her full name, so she would always introduce herself as Ecaterina. Full title. "As for what I'm doing here, well," she shrugged her shoulders gracefully. "Just walking, until I find something to capture my attention." She levelled her gaze on him then, and smiled, a little distractedly. "And yourself, Neo'h? What brings you to this area?"

Neo'h ingored the eye battering, he did like the occasionally flirtation or two however he wasn't really that big on it. But he did think this female was pretty HE moved a little closer to her before sitting back onhis haunches comfortably and then he wrapped his tail around one of his back legs. A smile spread across his lips as she called him sir, he found this slightly amusing.
"I'm glad you don't take it as rude." He nodded to her before offering her a small smile. "Ecaterina is a beautiful name." He half mused to himself before he looked at her before chuckling and nodding. He really never done much while he was wandering these lands. He was once part of a pride but after a while he realized that he really didn't like it. There was still of course a chance for him to find a place and to settle into it but for now he was just wandering around. Wandering was lonely but he got to run into cute and nice looking faces like this every now and again and it was refreshing. Really refreshing.
"I basically do the same." He answered her with a slight chuckle. He sat back on his hauncches. "the normal wander until I find something interesting. Only stop for food or rest, oh any of course like lovely ladies like you." He flashed her a handsome grin before flicking his hair out of his eyes. "Are you heading anywhere?" He asked curiously flicking around his tail. "If you are do you want an escort?" He asked again with a sly smile creeping across his face.

Mmmm. Ecaterina did love stumbling across a handsome man and this male certainly fit that bill! She smiled pleasantly and in a way she hoped was a demure and shy kind of way, when he complimented her name. She was not shy in any form, but it seemed some males liked that in a female, so she would at least try to act shy, at least for a little while.
"You do the same?" She repeated, and put a suitably curious expression on her face. "Am I correct in thinking you travel on your own as well?" She didn't travel on her own, not really, but she used to. "I'm sure you know how lonely it gets then," she said, flashing him a bittersweet smile, batting her eyes again. "Company is always appreciated, but no, I'm not traveling anywhere in particular." She paused. "Perhaps you would consider, simply walking a while with me? I can always use an escort.

Neo'h looked at the lioness and then nodded at the idea. "Yes I do travel by myself often where everI want to go. I have to admit a good amount of it is by myself but it isn't that bad. He flicked his tail in thought. But then he looked at her. "I guess you can always say that I'm looking for a place that I feel is home." He said thoughtfully before shrugging agian. "I enjoy the wandering part of everything but it does get a little lonely at times."
She sat up some before smiling softly. "A little lonely at times." then at the lioness's offer he smiled a little more then nodded. "Really? You would enjoy my company? Then I don't see the harm of taking you some where. I would enjoy it myself."

Ecaterina nodded as he spoke. Traveling alone was still an enjoyable excursion but it was still a rather lonely process. This male seemed to understand that and she gave him another smile. "Well, we have no need to be lonely now," she told him, her smile brightening easily.
"I would love some company, yes." She nodded firmly and got to her feet, wiggling a little in playful delight. "So tell me, have you seen many sights?" she asked, to make conversation so they would not travel together in silence. What was the point of being silent with company, was talking not the point of having company?

Neo'h smiled at the female she had a good point with that she was saying, it was very true. They weren't lonely any more and this made him happy, at least for the moment anyway. It was very much true that he was once part of a pride and he now wanted to wander away and see new sights, however he did get lonely at times it was the sad part he found of this life. hoever there was still the fact that he found times to run into company and spend some time with others like now. He grinned and then nodded at her once again. "Not being lonely is always something wonderful to enjoy," he commented to her as he looked back for the moment.
He paused again before he laughed as he was thinking about it. "I have seen a lot of nice sights lately." He said as he was thinking, he smiled at him and nodded, before smliing. "Not that long ago I wandered toward the beach, it was seriously nice. I really liked it. You should check it out some time."

Ecaterina smiled, her paws hitting the ground in an easy rhythm. Ah, this was something she could do! Travelling was in her blood, and it was something she had passed onto her children and which she knew would pass on to generations to come. She continued to smile, listening to him speak. “The beach? My, I haven't been there in years.” When she was very young, her parents had taken her to the beach, but it had only been a brief stay.
“Tell me, did you see the sunset over the ocean?” She asked. It was one of the few things she could remember in vivid detail about her brief, brief visit. A curious smile lit up her face. “Perhaps I will,” she remarked, in reference to his suggestion to 'check it out'. She had no where to be and all the time in the world, so perhaps she would walk that way.

Neo'h flicked his tail once or twice again before lifting his head with a smile. "You've been before?" He asked curiously, he felt kind of stupid now that he had said that. "It's really awesome isn't it?" He asked with a laugh flicking his hair out of his eyes. He sat up straight before shaking his head. "No. I didn't see it. Although I would like to head back and see it again." He paused as he thought before speaking once again. "Now that I think about it, probably is really pretty I could only imagine. It was pretty enough just with the sun in the middle of the sky."
He wiggled his toes in front of him before smiling. "I'm sure it probably looks the same since the last time you visited but I'm more then sure it's worth going again, I believe it is."

Ecaterina smiled a little, not at all put off by his question. "Yes, long ago now, I suppose," she siad with a light laugh. "It's been years, I fear I've forgotten most but the sunsets, I think. It always reminded me of my Necolai, my intended mate at the time," she explained. The name of her former mate was tossed out casually, as if it was a useless fact and to be honest, to him it probably was. He didn't need to know her former mate's name, but she supposed it was her way of honouring his memory, of at least acknowledging that he had been there with her to see the sight. She had been young, and hopelessly in lvoe, so everything had reminded her of him when she was away, which was probably why it was so easy to remember the sight.
She nodded, and thought back to the beautiful sky that she'd seen. "It is definitely worth the trip back, I can tell you that. I may end up wandering back that way some day, just to see it again." She smiled at him, giving a light laugh. "Perhaps I'll see you there one day, if you make your way there too."

Neo'h paused and thought for a moment, taking in what she was saying before talking quietly. "Well..." His voice trailed for a moment, his tone was a little caught off guard. "I'm sorry for your lost of a mate for what ever reason it was that brought you apart." If she cared or not, he couldn't just throw a fact like that to the side. He couldn't pretend he just didn't say that. He flicked his tail around a few times then spoke again. "Things happen though." He chuckled quietly to the thought before smiling at her. "Everything happens for a reason if it's good or bad." He chuckled before smiling.
"You never know. We could run into eachother there." He mused quietly. then chuckled with a nod. "it would be very interesting."

Ecaterina was surprised at his comment of her mate, her face softening. “Thank you,” she said quietly. “But we had many years together before his death.” He had been the sweetest man she knew and while she still mourned his death, she was grateful for the years they'd had before he had sacrificed himself for her. A slight frown worked across her face, before she shook her head, trying to dispel the memory. “Sometimes the reasons can be both good and bad,” she nodded, summoning up a small smile.
She continued to smile at him, pleased with his company for the moment. “I think I would like that,” she said and shifted, falling silent. Memories brought to the surface, after long avoiding thinking of them, of her youth and of her former love, it was a bit hard to think of now but still brought smiles to her face.

Neo'h looked at the lioness before grinning slightly and shaking his head. Then nodding at her. "Well... His voice trailed for a moment before speaking again. "You're welcome." He shook his hair out of his face before smiling. He paused for a moment thinking about what he was saying. She was really getting close to wandering away as when he ran into others they always parted. But he didn't want to be lonely again, he really didn't, not at the moment anyway. He looked at her then a bright smile came up on his face. He had an idea and he really hoped that she would be up for it. "Feel free to turn me down. But would you care to join me on a trip to the ocean?"
