Her birth place is unknown but she grew up in Cloud Country with her two foster parents both Jounin of the Village and together they taught Madoka how to be strong and fearless both which came in handy many times also making her quite the fighter as a kid always getting in fight with other kids mostly boys and winning every fight much to her parents delight.
In her academy days she was a very stubborn but talented student always doing things her own way and managing to pull it off despite the protest her teachers gave her she aced the final exam with ease becoming a Genin of the Cloud Country but over the years she never rose up in rank do to the simple fact she hung out with Sumiteru to much and got in as much trouble as he did even though she did nothing other than watch though not stopping him could have also resulted in that little fact as well, and this fact was something her parent disapproved off deeply but well she was not one to take advice and well didn't listen to what they had to say about Sumiteru.
