A leading light, don't lose it
So we all have VOCALOIDS we love ( MEIKO ), but is there one you just can't stand?
For me its GUMIPOID and SONIKA. I just can't stand them! They are too similar in designs, Gumi is a rip off Ranka Lee point blank, and Sonkia is waay to Obnoxious she has her own TWITTER!
Please keep this a clean thread, no "HOW COULD YOU HATE THEM?" Just plain "I do not like so&so and here is why"
Solid feelings, I've cherished them, and now I'm letting go

I'm not a fan of Sonika either, though that's just cause her voice isn't very flattering.
My hate is Gackpoid. First of, I HATE Gackt. I mean, yeah, pretty face, whatever. I just hate how he sings. His voice bugs me to no end. Most people like to style Gakpoid's songs after how the real Gackt sings, and I just don't like that. I love Gakupo's design; it's super fun to draw. BUT! His voice.. just.. no.
I do, despite my hate, like a few of his songs. Dancing Samurai, Seven Weeks War, and.. I think it was Cantarella that I liked him in.
Otherwise, -dislike.-

I don't like Sonika either, she's just ew.
The one I "hate" the most would probably be...All the Miku Appends except for Solid and Vivid.
They sound boring.
They sound way too different too. I don't think Miku's voice should become more human-like.
But solid and vivid sound good ;D
BUT, I hate Teto even more.
But she's not a vocaloid. And she never will be.

Yeahhh not a fan of Teto. Her voice is just.. so... annoying.

Miku. I don't like her period.
I'll only listen to songs where shes with another person. She's far too popular and some people forget that there are other vocaloids besides her.
Her voice gives me a headache and she sounds whiny and bratty, to myself anyways. They always work to improve her, but why don't they work to improve the ones I like better liked Kaito and Meiko.
Oh I also dislike Rin, but that's because she always seems so violent.

I like them all, really. There's some I just don't like as much as others.
An example would be Miku, since (obviously) she is overused, and another Vocaloid could fit some songs better. But due to these Appends, this problem is practically fixed. Miku's Append DARK is currently my favorite Miku voice, though. It's calming, and not high-pitched like her original (and SWEET, ocassionally).
I'm a fan of GUMI and Gakupo, though, since unlike Miku, Rin/Len, Luka etc, they were done by actual singers, and Gumi's design looks like Ranka due to her voicer being the VA of Ranka. And Gakupo's design makes him really interesting, and his voice (even having one or two awkward phonemes) is good for rock music, sometimes.
Sonika is my favorite Engloid though (though they are all great). I like her voice due to owning it, and it's challenging to work with, but challenges are one of the fun things about her. And her Twitter was to try and promote Engloids, also, so I find it interesting ZeroG tried this new approach on promoting Engloids.

Plus his voice is screwed up....
I really like Miku its just....she has WAAY to many fans and
she is a really popular 1 since she is over used sad
if they made her voice a bit more like Rins it would be fine...

then123 I dislike Gakupo....he just....LOOKS LIKE A GIRLY~!~! Well, the box art is too girly (I mean, he looks like he is wearing makeup!). But fan-art is much better, especially on Piapro or Pixiv where artists know what they are doing. But he is supposed to resemble a samurai, so his design is perfect for a samurai.

Well, think about this, to be honest, I got one that I really dislike on voicewise, and fan depiction wise. Voicewise, the most that I dislike, believe it or not, it's Kaito. His voice sounds too rubbery when I hear his voice. Reminds me of that the fact that when a person, like a grown man, is stuck in a pool of gelatin, is that what Kaito reminds me of.
Fan depictionwise, it's Sonika, because she needs a better design. The box is too 3-d for me, and it needs to be more animated. And Crypton needs to amp up the game for colors. I've noticed that none of them even use the color shades of, dare i say it, grey, black, and white.

I dislike Rin for the same reason I dislike Miku. I don't like her voice (and yes I know Rin and Len have the same VA) and to me she's violent. Simple as that, plus her outfits are always *****>
