A red-headed grunt poked her head warily out of a set of double doors and quickly exited the demolition area before briskly walking down the corridor towards a neighboring department. Addison strode through the halls as though she were on a mission. Goggles were strapped firmly over her eyes and her uniform was, miraculously, in crisp condition. Or, as good as condition came when it wasn't layered in soot and grime.
Nevertheless, she felt clean.
Too clean.
There was the sharp squeal of sole-on-tile as Addison came to a sudden halt to shiftily cast a pair of emerald-green eyes around a corner into the hall of Nerds Galore (Aka: The robotics department), soon followed by a violet set of eyes peering over her flamboyantly-colored bed head. The crudely-stitched experimental Eevee known as Patches lay atop the flurry of firey-auburn hair, acting as a "watch-out" by stealing a glance back every now and then to make sure they weren't being followed by "unwanted eyes." Because -- as Addison pressed her back against the wall and snaked herself around the corner to sneakily slide down the hall -- the pair were on an Extremely Serious Mission.
And that was to steal borrow a set of nonel tubes and motion-sensitive lasers in order to make a wireless detonator. For the good of that Demolition Department, of course.
And Team Rocket... yeah, that too...
....
This obviously hadn't been an "assigned" mission.
But why waste time going back and forth between here and the storage level for wires and charged components when the computer labs and robotics department were on the same floor? No one was going to notice a few missing pieces of equipment here and there anywho~
As Addison slid up to a room labled 'Equipment', she glanced inside to make sure the coast was clear before slipping into the room. Once inside, she tugged the crumpled form of a draw-string bag out of her pocket and passed it to Patches before directing him to a shelf of crates.
"You start over there, I'll look in the boxes on the floor."
Anxiously chewing on her toothpick as the Eevee hopped off her head, Addie knelt down and began rummaging through boxes of miscellaneous supplies.
"Old, misused robotic arm... No."
"Vee."
"Remote control to an unknown source... tempting, but no."
"Vee."
"Circut breaker... Nope."
"Veeee."
" 'Moron's Manual on How to Score Babes'.... Definitely not."
"Ee-veee?"
"Huh? No, that's not a tube, it's a... wait, where'd you find a spark plug? Aw, nevermind, put it in the bag anyway."
Addison groaned as she continued to shuffle through the boxes with no avail, but paused as she came across a crate for mechanically re-engineered pokeballs. A devilish grin curled onto her face as she picked one up to inspect it. Although the inside of it seemed completely useless when it came to containing any pokemon (it was probably a failed alteration of a real pokeball), the outside could pass as a legitimate ultra-ball. "I'm sure- no- one- will- miss- these~" she cooed impishly as she began to pluck the pokeballs out of the box and place them into the crook of her arm.
