Koda was on the trail of Anya, in the hallway. Normally we weren't allowed to wander hallways without a master. They knew he was a good pokemon and weren't watching him as much as others. Yards are fine, eating places are fine, but some pokemon don't get along so hallways were watched. Koda was being sneaky but for a good reason.
He wanted to find Anya, she was sick. She had to be, she smelled a little different. The smell confused him. A human vet visited her and since then she's been in her room, she must be sick. He wanted to help. He was warm and could be helpful at fetching things like medicine and water.
Sniff, sniff, smell, sniff...
Here!
He stopped at the door Anya's new smell came from. He pawed at the door and whined loudly.
"Arf arcanine nine cani? canine arc whiiiine?" ( "Anya are you in there? Can I help make you better?" )

Ginny was hopping though the hallway she had just eaten happily thank fully that they had put some type of stairs so she could get up to were the food was and to give her something when she was there no more having to try to hold a plate.
She herd a whine that made her fold her ears up. That could only be from one large pokemon. Running she soon saw koda sitting infront of a door.
"Koda you will wake the dead if you wine that loudly. So why are you here do you know the person in this room." wait this room smelled familiar she knew this room she had been there with the human male who had helped save her. What was her name again. "Anya you know Anya?"
Anya had been napping and was surprised to hear whined out side of her door. Her head hurt a little but it was ok though the song seemed to be stuck permanently her head though it did not bother her. The whine had waken her up. She got over to her door and opened it. To be met by Koda and Ginny.
"Koda, Ginny why don't you come in." she moved out of the way.

Koda perked his ears as he was joined by his friend Ginny. His head cocked to one side. "Dead can wake up?" He didn't know that, he thought to be dead meant you broke like a toy and would sleep forever and had to be buried like a bone. He was happy to be wrong! His tail wagged at the mention of Anya but before he could answer Anya opened the door and invited them both in, answering the question if he knew Anya or not.
He padded into the room and sat next to her bed. "I saw the human vet come for you, are you ill? You smell a little different...I came to help." He wasn't paying close attention just yet, distracted. Koda sniffed the air. Now that he was close to Anya the difference in the smell was clearer to read. Human with a hint of pokemon? "Oh, do you already have company?" He looked around in confusion. He didn't see anyone.

Anya looked at Koda trying to talk to her it did not make sense to her at all though she felt like she should understand it. On Anyas bed one of the things that could be mistaken as a stuffed animal opened its eyes and starred at the intruders.
Ginny Walked in to the room shaking her head. "No Koda the dead do not wake up it is a human saying meaning you are being very loud and that you can... Forget it." It was not worth explaining this to a hyper pup. It was then that she noticed the odd new smell Anya had. "Koda She can not understand us."
Once Aurora closed the door A purple pokemon with a white stripe down it's back jumped out at Koda.
"No Stinky."

"Arrrr YIPE!" Koda leaped away from the bed, startled. Then he relaxed, toungue lolling out. "Hi. Is Anya sick? We're friends here to help." He looked up at Anya and froze in confusion. He walked up to her.
Wow.
She was pretty.
He could have sworn she was a human before though, now her ears, eyes and cheeks were different. She didn't smell like sickness, though her pink cheeks looked flushed. She had pokemon smell coming off her.
"Look Ginny! Her ears are long like yours but pointy." Koda said, surprised. He'd NEVER seen humans looking like that, did she know? He went into the dreaded bathroom to fetch the thing you look in that looks just like you. A mirror he thinks someone called it. He gave it to Anya.
Her eyes were so different from before, mesmerizing, he stared deeply into them wishing masters could understand pokemon when suddenly he yawned.
He didn't feel sleepy before...had he eaten too much?

Stinky landed on his feet he had smelled theses two before they were ok in his masters book so he would have to be nice to them. "She is not sick she has what the humans called changed into being part Pokemon. No don't bring her a mirror." He quickly hid under the bed.
Ginny did notice Anyas new odd look she had a feeling Anya had not realized she had changed yet. That thought was soon confirmed when she saw Stinky run for cover.
Anya looked at the image in the mirror and blinked a few times she then pinched her self and looked back in to the mirror bringing her hand up to her face she touched the now permanent pink blush. Her eyes were wide with fright as she dropped the mirror and ran in to the bathroom she turned on the lights and then getting a wash cloth wet with water and soap she tried to wash the pink off.
After some good hard rubbing Anya rinsed the soap off that is when she felt her ears. She touched both her ears realizing they both were longer and pointed. she turned so that she could see them in the mirror. She backed away from the mirror and into the main room were she found a wall she moved down it and sat on the floor to shocked to speak.

Oh no, no no, noooo....Koda laid on his belly and army crawled over to Anya. He whined softly to catch her attention and nuzzled a pink cheek with his nose, placing a paw on her shoulder comfortingly. His eyes were puppyish and pleading, full of concern. "I'm sorry! I'll - I'll try to fix it!" He promised, if he could figure out how. He'd need to know a lot more before hunting for a solution.
He looked over at the pokemon he did not know who was hiding under the bed. "If you saw anything at all, tell me everything you know, what happened, who did it and how..." He perked his ears at his best friend Ginny. "Have you ever seen something like this happen before?" He asked, confused so badly that his head hurt from all the questions he had.

There were tears in Anyas eyes she was so confused what was happening. She herd Kodas winning and she looked down at him and could not help but smile. "It is ok Koda I just do not know what is happening." She started to pet Koda
Stinky came out of hiding. "She took it better than I thought she would. The name is stinky She gave it to me and since I have been around her nothing of note has happened other than two humans had come in here. One of them was wearing a uniform of people who work here not the the white coats as them but in a blue outfit She called him Mr lion if that means anything to you."
Ginny nodded "Yeah I know him he is a guard he is good don't worry Koda he would not have hurt her,"

Koda stayed by Anya's side while she petted him. "Stinky? Nice to meet you, I'm Koda, that's my best friend Ginny." He introduced themselves. Koda tilted his head at the name of the one good person. "Mr. Lion? Don't know him. Okay, but who was the other person in here?" It had to be humans who did it he'd never heard of a pokemon changing humans into pokemon/human crosses. Masters were smart, and knew how to do amazing things.
He could see why humans would want pokemon powers, they have no powers of their own. They keep pokemon to love, protect and fight for them. We allow it because pokemon love humans. They needed us. Why would they force such a change on someone unwilling though? Wouldn't their be volunteers? Maybe he could (try to) ask a human to change her back?

Stinky nodded as they each were interduced. "I have see you before Ginny I was just in hiding at that time in this room you bit Anya if I remember correctly." He sighed, "I understand you were scared and if my mistress does not hold a grudge against you then I will not either. Koda I do not know who the other person was she was female and Anya did not seem to know her well either I think she is close to this Mr lion."
Ginny was surprised when Koda said she was his best friend. She had never had someone say that she was there best friend. Ginny then turned her attention to Stinky. "Yes I was scared and confused thank you for forgiving me for that. I do not know much about this Mr lion other than he is good though that does not mean his friend is."
Anya had stopped crying. "Hay it could be worse I could be pink." she stopped and thought about that statment. "Wait I got pink patches may be I am an Elf humm but elves are not pink. What am I then?"

Koda was just as confused as Anya. Her scent was pokemon, her body human...almost. Those ears were different. Humans didn't evolve, did they? "Ginny, do humans evolve like pokemon do?" He asked. "Maybe's she's both? Pokemon and human? But she was human before..." He shook his head as if to get rid of all the questions. "Your you, no matter what you look like." He told her even though she couldn't understand. Looking at her long enough he found himself getting tired again. He curled into a fluffy ball, blinking to keep awake. He would not sleep, not if Anya needed their help...
