Serandite had no clue where she woke up to. Her eyes opened to the sight of green, the sound of birds around her, chirping ominiously. When Serandite's eyes opened, the bird's red eye narrowed towards her. It landed upon her, making eye contact for only a split second before flying off.

Where was she? Why was she here? Serandite was pretty sure that she couldn't sleepwalk all the way to the countryside-- she didn't sleepwalk in the first place! Pink heels stood up wobbily, Serandite's posture was unsteady and lacking confidence.

Serandite dragged her eyes away from the empty place the bird had stood, an uneasy feeling rising from the bottom of her stomach. Serandite had always been a city girl-- Her few experiences with the woods certainly had never been about survival-- at least, not alone. Perhaps if she leapt up to the branch up there, she might see farther outwards, past this strange forest. The spring that came so easily to her feet once before didn't come. Serandite was sure this was a defect.

She jumped. And jumped. And jumped some more-- Still defective. It didn't matter-- her bunny might be able to lift her towards the branches. She held out her hand expectantly, the familiar feeling of calling for her weapon..

... never came.

DEFECTIVE.

Her eyes opened incredulously. She was Serandite-- her uniform blatantly revealed so, since one couldn't really miss the whole kimono look with a giant ribbon in back. She wasn't one for crude words but the only words that rose up to her mind at the moment was sadly appropriate. She stood there, dumbfounded, wide eyes staring at the entire path before her. Not only was she stuck in the middle of nowhere-- it was a place where she had no clue what to do to survive.

"What is this s**t?"

"You.." The trace of a shadowy voice left behind sent chills up Serandite's spine, her small frame turning instantly to locate the sound of voice. nobody was around. It was getting creepier by the second. A nervous hand clutched her other arm, Serandite's expression wavering and uncertain. To put it simply, she was scared and jumpy. Who wouldn't be, stuck in a creepy forest that seemed like an evil version of snow white's scenery? She expected the seven evil dwarfs to jump out at any moment with knives in hand-- she sincerely hoped that she was wrong and that wouldn't happen.
