So, apparently when you look closely, you will see CV-01 Hatsune Miku and CV-04 Megurine Luka. I think Gaia is taking notice to the series.

The hair you are referring to while looking like Vocaloidish, is the hair that belongs to Daisy, the young knife carrying girl in the Nightmare EI. So no, they have not noticed Vocaloid with that hair release. They just made it in most of the colors of the hair available on the site so that users wont complain because they can't have a certain color. Yes they may have dressed the green haired one as Miku but that is not what the hair is based on.

@Neku: It kinda makes me wonder if they're hinting at Vocaloid sometimes. Like for Seracila Pendant (Dhanu) reminds me of a shorter version of Gackpo. Most likely not their intent to satisfy Vocaloid fans but it does have the similarities.
The only obvious Vocaloid related item on Gaia is the magnet headphones...since there was a thread asking for it and it recieved pretty good feedback. Despite there being only one color :s

True, but since Vocaloid fans on gaia are a minority at the moment. I don't consider anything other than the headphones and the Leek to be Vocaloid related. As for the Seracila, since it was based on astrology, purple hair always made sense to me, since there seems to be a color pattern with that item.
I'm not quite sure I see the Luka in there since they just wanted to color match with that avi shown.

HEY LETS ALL POINT OUT OBVIOUS SIMILARITIES BETWEEN A VOCALOID AND A RANDOM AVATAR. GENIUS.
Sorry, had to write that. But seriously, I hardly think they're throwing in bits of Vocaloid, considering Kaito, Miku, the Kagamines, Gakupo and Luka are all 'stereotypes' or even copy-paste characters :< What, so every pink-haired gal is a Luka reference, and every teal-haired is a Miku reference? D:/ Until it's blatantly obvious that it's copying Vocaloid [like with the magnet headphones, which were a much-requested one] then I'm gonna write it off as a lovely coincidence.
EDIT: I see where you're getting the Miku, [missed the leek, lol] but I doubt that's a Luka, very much.

Alysoun What, so every pink-haired gal is a Luka reference, and every teal-haired is a Miku reference? D:  Not gonna lie, I was all "Oh hey is a Miku!" when I saw the announcement....but the hairstyle isn't even Miku's, just the color xD
