It was LONELY being stuck at home in bed with nothing to do. Jezebel'd been bedridden for the past week and a half while she recuperated from jewels bursting out of her skin and a few more preparing to do so. The girl now had a few large bumps around her eyes, some along her knuckles and thankfully that was the last of the lot.
The gems that had already burst out were starting to heal but were still majorly sore and able to reopen the ripped skin if she moved too much and strained the slow healing. The girl hated this, sitting around in a tank top and her undies, it was uncomfortable and undignified! At least she'd stopped tearing her sheets though.

Pilot had begun to worry. Since The Dream Jeze and him and made it a semi-regular occurrence to call each other in turns but for the past week and a half he’d not heard a peep from her. At first he’d just put it off as her being busy, they did have lives after all, but yesterday he’d tried to call her only for no one to answer. So with that in mind he’d set off to give her a surprise visit at her house, hopefully she would be there. Seeing the familiar building come into sight he picked up the pace, slightly surprised at how quiet the area was when usually Jeff was barking his head off. Entering the building he made his way towards Jezebel’s apartment’s front door before giving a sharp rap, waiting patiently for someone to answer.

The door was opened by a rather tired looking Kerrigan. Her hands were bloody and she looked a little worse for wear but smiled a bit on seeing Pilot. "oh, hey there. nice to see you."
"Uhhh you can come in. Just give me a second to tell 'bel to cover up." she said before poking her head into the other room. "Hey squirt! your boyfriend's here! Pull your sheet up and try not to bleed all over him!" she shouted.
"DAMMIT MOM! I TOLD YOU NOT TO TELL HIM!" came a shout from the other room, though Jeze sounded really...tired?
The girl pulled the sheet up over her legs and gave her shoulder a dirty look. The one had started bleeding again, which is what her mom had been dealing with.

Pilot immediately became alarmed when he saw Kerrigan, he recognized blood immediately. He wanted to immediately bombard the woman with questions but refrained from doing so, it would be quicker to get the information from the source. His will to stay silent was almost broken when Kerrigan referred to him as Jezebel’s boyfriend, they weren’t like that! Blushing slightly from the comment he followed behind Kerrigan, his interest piqued at Jezebel’s reply. What was she hiding?
He got his answer as soon as he stepped into the room and saw Jezebel’s state. He alternated from blushing about her state of dress and blanching at the sight of what looked like a quite painful process. If he wasn’t wrong it looked like gems where bursting out of her skin. Hovering by her side he asked, worry evident in his voice, “What happened! I got worried after you didn’t contact me and I couldn’t contact you.”

The girl made a face somewhere between a glare and a pout. "Dunno really. I just had these annoying bumps and they wouldn't go away and then boom, turns out they were jewels." Jezebel explained as best she could, "They hurt like hell and Mom says I'm not supposed to move much."
The girl did smile a little at the fact that Pilot was concerned for her, but she didn't dwell on it. "Anyway, I accidentally pulled the skin a bit too much in an area just before you came over, that's why Mom's all bloody. She's been taking care of me. Sorry I couldn't call or answer the phone."

Pilot blinked, surprised at the description. “Huh. Kinda reminds me of when I got my electricity power, just slightly more painful. I’d had a crap day when all of a sudden this feeling welled up, it was bright and fierce and sharp but there was too much of it so it hurt and then BAM, I zapped Uncle Morphy. Hopefully they’ll finish coming through soon, it doesn’t look too pleasant.” That last comment was a bit of an understatement, they looked down right agonizing. “Seeing as you can’t do anything or else you’ll pull it again, which would be bad, and I’m here anyway, is there anything you need?” It was only polite to ask, he wanted his Villainess well again as soon as possible.

"Some company maybe? Mom's been grouchy and Jeff's now allowed in to see me so he's staying with Aunt Marie." Jeze said sadly. She missed her puppy.
"Just wait till the ones on my face come out. Then there'll be trouble." she grumbled, glancing over at one of them.

“Sure, that’s something I can do easily.” He said softly, seeing how upset she was with how things had been. Sitting down lightly on the bed so as to not jostle Jeze and hurt her more he now gave the jewels a better inspection. When she pulled attention to the ones her face he gave a soft hum before commenting off handed, “I think they’ll look lovely when it’s all done.”

"Yeah lovely." she commented with a sour look, that didn't actually look too bad on her for some reason. "I'd rather just not be in pain."
After a moment, she realized something. "oh! I didn't show you what my mom got me. It's in the box by the bed." the brunette carefully pointed at the little box containing her wand.

“...You could just take some paracetamol?” He said cautiously, he was pretty sure she should have thought of that and that he’d get another insult any second now.
Perking up when she mentioned new stuff he dutifully grabbed the box before settling in on the bed again. Opening it he gave a small gasp when he opened it, a wand! A smile bloomed upon his face as he inspected the wand. It vaguely reminded him of the Dark Elf Staff but the crystal was clear and there was less metal work along with small gems dotting the rest of it. “Oh Wow! This is fantastic! Does this mean you’ve decided on what branch you’re practising?”

Jeze shook her head a little. "I assume that's a medicine of sorts. Mom's been putting creams on there to numb the pain and been giving me meds but it can only do so much and she doesn't want me overdosing."
"Sorta, sorta not. Mom said it's a practice wand - it'll let me get used to using an item's magic before I start practicing spells or channeling specific types."

“If you’ve taken any pills for the pain, then yes you’ve had some Jeze. It must be really painful for the paracetamol to not work fully; it’s good at its job.” Pilot said, worry for Jeze creeping in again. All his stuff had already been there when he was born or the pain was over like a snap. He didn’t really associate pain with anything good after his experiences.
“Huh. That’s probably a smart idea; get a base in the basics before specialising. Have you done any casting yet or did this crop up before you could?” Pilot hadn’t thought of doing it like that, mainly because he’d been born with his specialization.

"Oh. Well like I know what the hell para-whatsit is." she said with a shrug before making a noise of pain. "Ooooooooowowowwowow, shouldn't have done that."
Once the throbbing subsided, Jezebel shook her head a little. "Mom got this for me after this started to keep me occupied. I've been trying small things so far." she explained opening her hand. "If you give it to me, I can show you."

Pilot had already begun to reply when Jezebel shrugged and let out the Ow, which quickly shut him up. “It’s the base to pain medica-“ grimacing with worry at her pain he gained a slightly thoughtful frown.
Whilst listening to her reply to his question he mentally sorted out if what he wanted to do was possible, he’d done it for himself once or twice when he could think enough to but never on another. “I’ll pass it in a second, first I think there’s something I can do for you, it should stop the pain, but it’ll make you numb.” Pilot warned, his hand hovering over her shoulder, barley not touching, waiting for her permission.
