it's like getting a foreign video game:

unless you have a manual, you know nothing of he foreign object's standing

in this case, they've amde it to where you can have your fave pokemon regardless of your point in the story, you'll just have to trade for it, national dex or not

basically G/S/C were like that, R/S/E/FR/LG were the only ones that required national dex before obtaining any of the other-region pokemon
i think Nintendo didnt like the idea so they removed the requirement

it's not blackmail...

Black mail is forcing someone into something they dont wanna do so you'll keep quiet on a secret of theirs

instead posting that someone is a scammer is more of "tarnishing their reputation"

and even then that may not always be the case:
someone itraded with about when D/P came out his wifi service crashed one him mid-tradeback we were trading my deoxys for his pokedex data on it and his shiny stone via tradeback
he also loaned me a pokemon i didnt have data on

his wfifi went out right about as i began starting up my end of the next trade. i at first thought he was a scammer but i posted online asking if anything went wrong: he repleid saying wifi was out, i told him "okay then keep the deoxys, he's replacable"

sadly i didnt get my stone but point/morale:
dont eb quick to accuse of scamming, instead post online asking what happened and then if they dont reply then you may warn others...

i may also have to do wifi trade rulings for this here guild, but alas i'm busy right now

well, hey,msix badges is perfectly fine at this point, aw heck my first playthrough of any Pokemon generation usually takes 10 months from starter to post-e4 endgame

w/b is gonna be no different, in fact on white i'll take my measley time before even reaching zekrom

then later-on i'll likely challenge the E4 after having powered Zekrom up and ev'd him/her properly

but me: i'm thinking of using zoroark against the E4 my first playthrough, Zekrom would be my revisit of the e4 pokemon
