 Sai looked around the den as he came in from gathering some food. It had been a while since the den had been full with kits. He missed them in a way, but was content that he had Amaya. He was a bit surprised that his family had continued to grow and that his dad had many flings. Not that it mattered. So long as his family was content, then he would be fine.

 Amaya had heard a noise, she had walked around the side of the den to peek around and find out what was going on. But there was nothing there, she didn't see or here anything after that and she wondered if she was having a little memory flash back and hearing what she wanted to hear. She sighed and walked back towards the den to see Sai her mate coming back. Nuzzling him she said "hello my love"

Sai turned around to see Amaya entering. He dropped the food only to nuzzle her back. "Hello dear. I brought us lunch...or probably more like supper." He had softened up a lot after he had kits. He used to be so tense and uptight, but yet having a family had somehow made him a bit more easygoing. Perhaps it was his family didn't have anyone criticizing their way of living anymore. "So do you want to go swimming today?"

Amaya smiled and said "oh thats great honey, thank you" she licked his muzzle and then thought about how much Sai had become such a family man, he had become the perfect father and she was just so happy. "Oh I would love to go swimming today, that sound like fun" she smiled again her tail swishing gently.

Sai smiled a bit. "You're welcome." He ate a bit of one duck before stretching. "Alright well one things for sure, we'll have to steer clear of crocodile lake. There are other ones around here that are nice."

She smiled and shared some duck, licking her lips she said "oh yes, I'm sure we can find a good one to go too." she stood up stretching as well, and arching her back.

Sai nodded his head before looking outside the den towards the sky. "The weather looks fine as well so I'm sure there won't be any rain?" He headed outside waiting for Amaya. "Although if you want maybe they have some interesting animals near the ocean if you would want to feel brave and go there instead."

Amaya followed Sai outside. "Yes it is lovely today" she looked up into the blue sky, "Oh? well then I will be brave, lets go then dear" she said with a smile.

Sai started to head off in the direction of the sea. "Alright then, lets see what creatures are out there then." He headed off towards the sea borders. They would be pretty close soon.

she nodded and ran to catch up, walking beside him. She had some things on her mind, questions that she would as but she was not sure how to ask them. She decided she would put them off till later. "Yes I am excited to spend the day with you love." she smiled again.

Once they were there he smirked a bit playful. "Alright. We're here." The waves were decent size, but they didn't look too powerful to sweep a fox out to sea. "I'd say now is the best time, because as it gets later in the day the waves grow more powerful and the tide comes in. Sometimes it's fun to swim during that time, but it can be risky." He kissed her before heading down to the sea.

Amaya's eyes glittered brightly as she looked out at the small tumbling waves. "its lovely" she said with a smile. "the weather is so nice today, and yes I am sure you are right, right now is the perfect time to swim." she looked at him and then as he kissed her he ran off into the water. "Oh I am going to get you" she said playfully running after him.

Sai had a smirk on his face. "Oh really now?" He plunged right into the water with a big splash as a wave was just surfacing.

Sai was a bit amused before swimming deeper to the coral reef expecting her to follow. He would have to go up for some air soon, but he just wanted a glimpse of it. After a couple of seconds he shot up and surfaced for some air. "Whew...talk about beauty."
