Mizer: 7:54 pm
(7:54:35 PM): Mizer had escaped again from his mothers watchful eye. Or, so he thought, as he treaded to his 'secret spot' for training. Really it was just behind a boulder a little ways away from his home den. Pilate knew where her little boy was off to. She trusted he'd be alright. Mizer was a hard headed type after all.

Mizer was dead set on proving how much better he was then his siblings. He was going to show his mother and siblings just how amazing he was at fighting. Hmph, they'd see. The cheetah made it to his secret spot and wasted no time at getting started.

His first victim, a stick. The cheetah sprung him self to the dead piece of wood and went crazy on the thing. Claws slashed and wood snapped. Mizer smiled at the work he'd done to the now mostly splittered piece of wood.
Rama: 8:05 pm
(8:05:17 PM): What an emotional week...he was simply exhausted. It wasn't fair- he knew that stress would only frey his lovely main and streak it with silver sooner than he was ready for. Not to mention all the worry creases that came with it! It simply couldn't happen. Absolutely not.

First the truth goddess, or so she claimed. He'd still not gotten over the encounter, it would likely linger in the back of his mind for many weeks to come- or at least until he finally encountered the young one to give her a good talking to. Whichever came first. Second- that damn mortal who obviously couldn't appreciate the gift of perfection that he'd been so generous to bestow upon her day. Not a thank you, not even a single word to stroke his ego. None of it. Soon following- the little cub who apparently thought she could seduce him. A cub. Seducing him. A mortal was humerous enough! He did the seducing, to think anyone, especially one so young and... unstable as she. It was laughable. To top it all off, he'd been caught in a rain storm, covered in mud and soaked from hed to toe. He'd been a mess- and to make matters worse, someone had seen him. Of course she'd groomed him too, but that was beside the point.

After nearly half a day of grooming himself, more to coax his nerves than to upkeep his obvious perfection, Rama had retired to the mortal realm for a sunbath and a nap. He laid with his belly stretched out across the surface of a smooth, warm stone, his wings opened just so, and his head resting gently against his elegantly folded paws. He was the picture of perfection, even in sleep. He'd cracked his eye once or twice to admire the sun's light glittering through his ebony coat and dancing off the feathers lining his wings. Yes- the mortals should be thanking him.
Mizer: 8:11 pm
(8:11:02 PM): Mizer batted at the remains of the once proud stick. It was good and dead now. Sigh, now what? He sat on his haunches and frowned. He could go steal a sibling away and spar with one of them or he could find something and try to catch it. The cheetah cub scratched his head.

It was then he noticed his spot was more shady then normal. Huh? The cheetah looked up to find ... a lion? What? The cheetah frowned up at it, his brows turning into a focused stare.

"And what exactly do you think your doing in my secret spot," He grumbled.
Rama: 8:14 pm
(8:14:30 PM): Rama sighed softly as something broke the silence. A small...squeaky sound. Terrible. Just when he'd finally found peace of mind enough to enjoy a little quiet time. He cracked an eye open and slowly searched through the blurry haze. The world came into focus as he blinked a few times. Finally a little patch of blue and silver broke through the plain dusty yellows and greens of the grassland.

He lifted a brow and slowly lifted his head. After a moment of looking around he found that, yes, the cub was talking to him.

"I beg your pardon? Just what exactly are you doing disrupting my napping spot? Go on now, go play elsewhere.">
Mizer: 8:18 pm
(8:18:54 PM): Play else where? Mizer made a grunt noise. What the heck!? The cheetah glared up at the male.

"Play?" His tone was cool and calm for how frusterated Mizer really was. "I m not playing. This is serious business," He gestured toward the stick which he'd made fine work of. Okay, maybe it wasn't that impressive. But still, Mizer took his work very seriously.

"Just who are you any ways."
Rama: 8:22 pm
(8:22:33 PM): Rama slowly rolled his head to one side, eyes falling on the remains of the stick. A chewed, mess of a thing now laying in pieces amongst the grass and dust.

"Hm." He flicked his tail. Serious business? Grooming was serious business, speaking with lovely little females was serious. Eating sticks was....silly. And a waste of time. Not to mention it might stain his teeth with splinters and sap! Perrish the thought.

"Making toothpicks?" He looked back and brought a paw under his chin. A practiced smile tugged at his maw.

"Oh me? I am Rama. You may have seen me on a starlight night, my mighty wings filling the sky and blocking out the moon herself! I rarely grace the earth with my presense- please, do not grovel.">
Mizer: 8:36 pm
(8:36:47 PM): "Grace the earth?" The cheetah made a face, " What ...? Are you talking about? Your a lion." The cheetah wiggled his nose.

He looked over at the stick and then back at the lion, "Tooth picks, you could say that. I'll make dust out of the picks soon enough. No ones better then I am at training." He nodded.

But still. There was something off about this lion. Mizer couldn't put his paw on what though. Something was out of place....

"Did you travel some where from a far off land or something? You talk funny."
Rama: 8:41 pm
(8:41:48 PM): "A lion!?" He stood himself upright and threw his ears back, making his distain very clear. "A lion indeed. Lions are perhaps half my size...and what lion have you seen as powerful and unflawed as I? You've not."

He flared his wings open, stretching each primary outwards to demand further presense in the youth's scope. "And these- do you see anything rolling in the dirt of the earth with wings? You must be....very young to think this is common. Lion. I am insulted!"

Rama sat himself up and pulled his wings back against him. He took a moment to straighten his mane out and dust off his chest. Toothpicks into dust...yes a talent he envied. No doubt.

"I travel wherever I wish but you could say that I suppose... my accent is... I get it from my father."
Mizer: 8:45 pm
(8:45:43 PM): The cheetah raised a brow at the wings. It wasn't that he wasn't interested, quite the oppisite, he was very interested.

"So you're half bird then as well?" The cheetah had never heard talk of the gods before and there for had no idea of the level of being that stood before him. Mizer wanted wings now. The thought seemed achievable. Here stood a being with them, why on earth would he not be able to get them?

"Your father?" The cheetah made a sound. He'd never known his own father and there for was a bit envies to those that had that luck. Though he didn't mind his step father honestly. "Your father talks odd as well."

The cheetah turned back to his stick and started to claw at it. Thoughts about how to obtain wings swam through his young mind.
Rama: 8:50 pm
(8:50:30 PM): Rama deflated as he let out a short, heavy sigh. Cubs... he decided he didn't like them. They were senseless! Witless! Impossible. They were too young to understand the world, much less the gift he was to it! He was in the presense of a mortal that refused to aknowlege just how kind he was for allowing the encounter! Selfish things... the world was cruel indeed.

"I am not half bird, I am a god. I do not know how else to stress it to you. Gods, you know? We control the world. The very winds bow to our whims...at least one of ours- I've not met her yet but I hear she has a lovely-", He glanced down to the cub and cleared his throat. Off topic. It was so hard to stay focused with someone so... clueless.

"My father." He lifted his chin, "The great god of pride, only I am better."
Mizer: 8:54 pm
(8:54:18 PM): The cheetah lifted a brow once again to look up at the being before him. A god? What ... huh? They controled things? Mizer pondered this as he stared upwards at the being. That sounded like a good idea. He wanted to control things too.

"How hard do you have to train to become a god?" The cheetah was completely serious as he asked this question. After all this was his first time hearing of such beings. "I want to control things too. How do I get to ?" The cub took a few intrusive steps forward.

"I think if I was a god I 'd be better then you and your father. Im going to be the greatest of everything one day," Mizer gave him a smile. He was completely serious.

Rama: 9:03 pm
(9:03:53 PM): Rama stared in silence, his maw pressed into a thin line. For a moment, he thought the cub might be joking. Maybe. As the silence drew on, and the cub's eager look was soon followed by a few enthusiastic steps forward it became painfully obvious that he was serious.

Confirmation came through his next words. Rama's dull look of disbeleaf soon cracked into mild amusement, melted into a cocky smirk, and finally burst into a fit of laughter. He lifted a paw and slapped himself inbetween the eyes.

"YOU!? Better!? Become a god!?" He waved his free paw and shook his head. Cubs! Whoever put such things into their heads ?!

Mizer:
(9:07:40 PM): The cheetah remained seated in silence as the god laughed at him. Only his frown grew deeper as he watched. The tail twitched here and there as he sat and frowned.

After a little while his maw opened, "Why do you laugh?" He was completely serious.

Rama:
(9:09:28 PM): Rama took a long, deep breath and fought off the final fits of laughter that had his shoulders bobbing and his sides aching. "Ooh... what you were serious? You don't simply become a god by training, heavens, then we'd have all sorts of riff-raff clogging up the skies. Not like we don't already."

He wiped at his eyes and looked back to the cub. "It's like...a mouse training to become a cheetah, or a rock. You are what you are- and I am a god- you are not. Therefore you should be worshiping me. Please- not too much, I am modest you know."

Mizer:
(9:11:48 PM): The cheetahs frown grew even deeper. He could not become a god? But he'd be good as any other. And if this guy was the best the gods had to offer , then Mizer was sure he would be suitable.

"Worship? Why? What are you the god of any way?" The cheetah got up and started to circle the god. Inspecting every detail of his being. What gave this creature the power it had? Mizer wanted wings. It wasn't fair.

Rama:
(9:16:06 PM): As the cub circled him he inflated once more, his chest puffing outwards, his wings opening just so while his feathers parted gently, allowing sunlight to filter in and send a shimmering arch up his delicate ridges. He threw his shoulders back and lifted his head. It was one of many poses he'd actively practiced for just such an occassion- he was sure to gain a follwer now! He had everything just right. The pose came easily to him, not a muscle strained, not a hair out of place.

"Worship? Because that's what mortals do of course, and you can hope that one day I'll see fit to bestow a blessing upon you!" Of course he'd not had his powers awaken yet but that was a minor detail and completely beside the point. Completely.

The next question had his eyes flying open. Damn. He hated that one... of course few people truly appreciated his domain, it didn't sound as impressive as pride or lightning. He certainly couldn't call nature out of the sky or ...anything other than fly just yet. Yet. The key word.

"Egotism." He answered simply. "Impressive. I know."

Mizer:
(9:19:59 PM): The cub took a seat looking up and down this god before him. "Hmmm," He tilted his head.

"You'll do. You can be my god but only if I'm your best follower. No one else." The cheetah gave a gruff grunt, "Im to awesome to be second to anyone. And I'll beat anyone if they even try to be first."

He'd never met a god. But if he was going to worship one, he wanted the best one. This god here deemed him self the best on and Mizer, being a naive cub, believed him hook line and sinker.

Rama:
(9:30:45 PM): His best follower?
He considered for a moment. His closest friend was, sadly, a mortal. If anything -he- was his closest follower. A young cub, the son of a royal in a pride completely devoted to showering males in the effection of females. An ideal place really.... he had already told himself that once he'd blossomed into a full grown god, powers and all, he'd end up sinking his paws into the place. Afterall- a harem of females fawning over him, attending to his every need was a thought he often entertained.

But this cub had no way of finding out. They were miles from here- perhaps half a day's flight at least. And he'd certainly never tell his followers about eachother. They could all be his best for all he cared.

"Very well. My best follower." He looked down and offered another practiced smile. "And perhaps I will bless you when you prove yourself. But not a moment before."

Mizer:
(9:33:48 PM): The cheetah gave a nod. A wise choice for the god. He'd be his best follower, just wait and see.

"That won't be a problem. I'll prove my self and then you'll see how amazing I am. Though I think you can see just standing before me just how amazing I am. " He flicked out a claw and looked at it like he was bored. Yeah, this was going to be easy. He already decided he was the best at everything he did.

"So don't worry there. I'll worship you and you'll come back and see just how much more devoted I am then anyone else."

Rama:
(9:41:33 PM): "I'll be sure to keep track. Aftera... I can be wherever I want to be." He smirked and threw his chest out in front of him. "First thing's first... you need to learn a bit about the gods- that way you can learn how to identify my rivals. Make me proud, I'll return...." He slowly tipped his head, an ear rolling downwards as he considered.

"In four full moon's time. How's that sound? A pretty easy start, and a pretty easy task to start you off on."

Mizer:
(9:43:22 PM): The cheetah gave a nod. He would find out more about the gods, he was sure that his lion of a step father would know. He had to. This god thing looked like he was a lion at some point.

"I'll not let you down." He would be the best of the best after all. You were eitehr the best or you werent worth any thing at all

Rama:
(9:46:48 PM): "Very good. You keep up your end of the bargain, and I will keep mine. A god is good to their word you know. One of the few things we are bound to. Generally." He opened his wings in one powerful movement and rose up onto his paws.

"Now...I will let you...ah...train." He glanced to the chewed stick and cleared his throat. "Four full moons. Right here. Do not forget, I don't like to be disapointed."

Mizer:
(9:48:22 PM): The cheetah nodded. If he had been more cleaver he'd had asked if this was true for a god of lies. But he wasn't , he was a cub after all.

"I'll make you proud," He gave the strange god a smile, "And you'll be amazed." It was as simple as that . Four moons wasn't that long after all. He could do it. He knew he could.

Rama:
"We will see. Never assume anything right off. Lesson one." He gave his wings a flap, working out a few kinks that had built up in the joints. He should stretch more...

"I will see you. Keep sharp."

With that he launched himself from the rock, coiling into his haunches and leaping outwards. In a few heavy beats of his wings and kicks of his hind legs he began his climb upwards...now to find a quiet place to rest.

Mizer:
(9:52:29 PM): Mizer watched as he flew off into the unknown sky. He had four moons. The cub smiled, He'd have no problem.

"See you soon ." He turned to face the splintered piece of wood. Time to die wood.
