A silent figure moved with a graceful gait, weaving though trees and bobbing her head to all of the interesting things - sights, sounds, smells. This was a new area yet again, and the white feline quivered in excitement. She gave a shaky breath, only just realizing her insides were shaking from the anticipation of the exploration.

However, the female paused, sitting in her place. "The sky is the same everywhere, isn't it?" She questioned aloud to herself. It certainly looked similar. Maybe the sky moved, making the clouds come and go, and other areas recieved the previous weather.

She shook her head from the thoughts and looked about, hoping the new area was interesting.

Oya was pretty sure she was lost. Or she would be lost, if she had a destination in mind, but she really didn't have that. She was just wandering until she found her... something. Whatever that something was, and she wasn't sure exactly what that was supposed to be. It annoyed her that she had left to seek out a better, more free life, and now she was completely free and she didn't understand what all the hype was about.

She hunted, she ate, and she was incredibly lonely, and nothing interesting ever happened. It was just like being back home, but with less creatures around her to keep her company. She missed her family, missed bossing them around. That was better than all this lonely traveling... where was all that adventure she had heard about in stories?

Where was all the excitement? She thought about trying to find her way home again... but then she heard someone speak. She looked up at the sky, though she couldn't see who had spoken, "...Wow. It really is."

Golden eyes darted to the sound of another voice. She hadn't even sensed the other presense, but she grinned. She moved towards the sound of the other's voice, a grin upon her maw. "Hello," she she bowed her head a little. "You from around here?" she asked.

She moved a little, eyes glancing back to the clear blue sky. "It's beutiful wherever you go, I think," she lamented, golden eyes dazzling.

Oya shook her head, "I'm just from the ocean... not from anywhere at all." She mentioned, approaching the other creature thoughtfully, "My name is Oya... Oya who comes from nowhere, I guess." She said quietly, smiling a little as she approached her, "What's your name? And... do you come from here? I don't really know where here is."

Though she did rather like the idea. The sky was beautiful no matter where you went. That was a nice thought, "I guess no one can ever take the sky away from us..." She liked that thought a lot. No matter where she was, her family was under the same beautiful sky.

Seaki
Asha gave a small frown - nowhere sounded sad. The ocean, though? That sounded interesting. Her homelands were cut from the oceans by a mountain range and volcanos, but the hotspings there laced the area in a lovely way. "I've been called Asha mostly," she nodded. "I've not been around many though, but that's what I've been called all my life so far."

Asha shook her head a bit. "I'm not from here. I left on a journey long ago, before my body stopped growing, and I've yet to return," she answered in kind. "I guess we're on the same plain then," she said. That was exciting - exploring a new area? Perhaps she could pull Oya into searching around and finding new things.

"That they can't," Asha said with happy tone. "It's one possession everyone held and no one could take from you, unless, of course you were blind or dead, but that hardly mattered.

Demo
"Asha..." Oya repeated, sounding almost relieved as she heard the other girl's name. It was a nice name, a pretty one for that matter, "It's a good name, I think. A nice name to be called." Names were important, she had always been told. They gave you a purpose, a reason to be around, and a way for others to know you. Now, she knew Asha.

She was a little surprised though, that they both were on the same journey, more or less, "I suppose we're on the same path... both of us are... well, I know I'm looking for something. I don't know what I'm looking for, not really. A place to call home maybe, or a new family... my old family... I loved them, but I wanted to know... I want to know who I can be on my own, you know?" She mentioned, hoping that Asha would, "What are you looking for out here?"

Still, on the subject of the sky, she couldn't be less thrilled, "I hope I can keep hold of the sky and the earth even when I die... I'd like to be able to look out and see the same things I see now. But I guess I don't really know all that much about death."

Seaki
Asha gave a smile. "Thank you," she told her with a small pleased grin. "I'm really glad to meet you, Oya. This journey has had plenty of ups and downs so far." She shifted letting her body fully relax.

"We are," Asha agreed. "I'm searching for guidance, searching for my soul - for myself," Asha said with a small sigh. "Maybe I'm searching too hard or in the wrong places, but the places I've searched were wonderful." Asha moved with the small wind, ears flicking.

"Your path... It sounds wonderful," Asha told her with a grin. "I'm sure you'll find who you are. A good soul-search and a home." That's what she was looked for as well, she thought. Asha smiled, eyes focusing back to the lioness now, and away from the beauty of the sky.

"That would be nice," Asha whispered. "I would hope for all that have passed, especially those hunted, may see something beautiful for the rest of time," Asha said in a small whisper.

Demo
Oya nodded a little, "I've really just... been lonely, I think. It's hard not to be lonely when you travel alone..." She said quietly, hanging her head a little, "I've always hoped to find myself... all I've done so far is discover how much I hate to be without others."

She listened to what Asha had to say though, a little entranced by her words. They made so much sense to her, it was strange. Looking for something in all the wrong places... who would have thought that could happen so easily? But like Asha had said... there were also wonderful places, in amongst all the bad ones. Oya had seen things and learned from this journey many things she would not have otherwise.

"I hope I'll find who I am, like you are looking for." She told her, nodding her head, "At least I know what I'm looking for... just a place to call home. As soon as I get around to finding it anyway." She looked up at the sky, smiling a little as she did, "Either way... at least I know I'll have the sky no matter where I go." She glanced over, "I hope..."

Seaki
Asha gave a small hum of agreement and nodded. "It c an be quite lonely, but then you can always meet someone interesting on the way," He urged. Traveling wasn't bad, and being a bit lonely wasn't the worst of it. Lions were group animals though, unlike the independtant leopards who only sought each other out when they were ready to have children.

"Sounds like a wonderful plan," Asha said with a grin. She didn't know yet. "I'm hoping my instincts will tell me what I'm looking for eventually," the sheepish grin. It was a plan, though.

Demo
Oya tilted her head, walking forward to sit down beside her new friend, "Well, I guess I did meet you, and you're very interesting." She told her with a nod, liking her new friend's optimism about the whole event, "I guess I'm just not used to it... always being alone. I hope that I can... well, not be. When I find where I belong, and when I know who exactly who I am." And she was finding that out more and more every day.

"I think you'll find what you're looking for, when the time is right... I guess it just depends on when that time is." Oya mentioned, scratching her head a little, "For some reason... we're not so good at finding the time I guess." She cracked a grin, knowing very well that she wouldn't find what she was looking for any time soon.

Seaki
Asha  gave a giggle. "That's true - you're quite interesting yourself, Oya," Asha smiled and rocked a bit on her paws. "Mm," she mad a sound of affirmative in the back of her throat. "It's an experience, though. I find it lovely, even with the downs. Its a wonderful way to learn... About anything and everything."

"I'm sure you'll find yourself, Oya," Asha encouraged, gently. "I hope I find myself soon, but, you're right. I have all the time I need to find myself," she rocked on her paws again happily.

Demo
Oya smiled a little, "I'm glad you think so. Most of the time where I lived, they just called me bossy." She mentioned, which she supposed was true enough. She wasn't exactly the most calm and easily subdued lioness, when it came down to it. She liked to have her way, and she liked to order people around. But she always tried to be practical, fair and honest... but sometimes childish creatures had to be put in their place.

"I think we'll both have to take some time... but I know we'll find ourselves. Somewhere out there." She said, looking out at the 'mysterious' beyond, as it were, "I believe in us, for all that's worth. I have a really good feeling."

Seaki
Asha gave a small laugh. "Well, I thik that you're just you. I don't know you that well yet, but if it's who you are..." She noted lightly, almot airily. She shook her head. "I don't know anything of you being bossy, but..." Asha trailed off and shrugged.

"We shall, we shall," she said with a smile. She gave a firm nod. That is, before a wide yawn plit her maw. A sheepish chuckle arose from her throat. "What do you say we nap - well, if you want." Asha shook her head.

"Perhaps we could check out this place when we wake up?" Ash moved a bit, standing to find a more comfortable spot to sleep in.

Demo
Oya liked the idea of taking a nap, relaxing. She and Asha could continue along when they woke up, "I'm just me, you're just you... we're all ourselves. I like that. That idea sounds good to me." She smiled, nodding her head and lying down beside Asha. Perhaps they'd travel until they felt the need to part ways. Either way, it was nice to have a friend.

"I agree, a good nap never hurt anyone." She smiled, curling up comfortably on the ground beside Asha, "I'd hate to be too tired to do much tomorrow."

"I think we'll do a lot of interesting things tomorrow." She nodded, closing her eyes, "Have a good nap Asha."

Seaki
Asha stretched into a confortable position next to the lioness. "No, I don't think on has - not that I know of," Asha gave a small laugh.

"Sleep well," she chimed lightly before closing her golden eyes. Her body gave one last jitter of anticipation efore slowly falling into a slumber.
