Tori was seated at one of the square tables next to the servers pick up area. Though they came and went frequently it strangely wasn't as noisy as other parts of the cafe.
It was day's end and Tori was pretty much exhausted. She kinda missed the carefree days of when ever, what ever so long as she completed her studies. However in a way she didn't because life was much more fulfilling and rewarding now even if more structured.
She should have been studying for her exams while she waited for her dinner to arrive but she needed to relax. Thus, she was pretty submerged in popular teenage girls magazine.

Through the door walked a child, holding a dog on a leash. She had looked about for a sign stating whether or not animals were allowed and hadn't seen one, so it should be fine bring him in. Jezebel wore jeans and a t-shirt today, having been out walking Jeff when she'd found herself at the cafe.
Well, might as well get a drink right? She wandered towards the serving area to look if there was somewhere to order food.

Tori looked up and over her the pages of her magazine when she heard the heavy breathing of an animal. Not that she new everyone that came to the cafe but her eyes trailed up the leash to find out who the owner was out of sheer curiosity.
Not that she showed it but she was rather shocked to think she recognized that girl. It was an unmistakable set of curls- but the clothes were totally off. "Jezebel?" She asked- it couldn't hurt after all.

The brunette's eyes darted over to Tori. "Oh, hi again." she greeted, walking her dog carefully over. Jeff was looking around with huuuuuuuge curious eyes and panting, tail wagging a bit behind him.
"I didn't see a sign so I assumed Jeff was allowed inside."

"It would be discriminatory towards animals if we didn't allow them considering we have many furry two legged patrons," Tori chuckled. "We just ask that they please not seat themselves on the tables."
"He's a rather handsome pup," she said as she looked Jeff over. "Congrats on getting that puppy you wanted... though I cannot really say he's that much of a puppy anymore."

"Interesting to know." Jezebel agreed, patting her dog's head as he sat and leaned forward to sniff at Tori curiously.
"Thank you. I'm very proud of him." she said with a fond smile down at the animal, "He is still a pup though. They grow to be huge dogs when full sized." she explained.

"What breed?" Tori asked as she motioned to the nearest chair. She didn't let the gesture linger before she raised it in another means to signal a waitress. "She'll be around with a menu in a second," she smiled.

"Mastiff-Great Dane." Jeze said proudly, petting him before taking her seat.
"Thank you." she agreed with a small smile. "So, what have you been up to lately?"

What had Tori been up to? She couldn't say everything although that pretty much summed it up. She remembered the last time they had gotten into a 'superiority' match. She didn't want that. She had always wanted to make friends with her- someone that was possibly the most like her.
"Dagger training, teen orchestra, reading to tots, and studding for my exams so that I'll be just about through with middle school level classes," she paused for a moment. She figured she might as well be honest. Regardless of what she said Jeze was either going to like her or not like her. "There is also my girl friends, boys, and my sisters... I think that sums it up," she chuckled.

"Well, you've got me in the interesting department." Jezebel commented as she took the offered menu from a waitress, reading it over quickly and asking for some tea.
"I've mostly just been training and taking care of Jeff, doing some schoolwork and chores on the side, and studying to be a villaness." That part was the hardest to explain of her business.
((Lucifel cameo, next post, pleaaaaase? XD -just loves Felfel way more than she should-)

"The symphony's opening night isn't for another couple of weeks but if you'd like to see me perform drop by on a Monday or Friday," Tori smiled.
"What have you been training for? And is the villaness thing going?" Curiosity getting the best of her she couldn't help but to ask. She never really expect Jezebel to turn evil. Then again everyone had a choice in life.
Lucifel came prancing down the stairs- for once not attempting to slide down the thin railing. She was hungry and everyone currently was either in the cafe or out doing something. She'd have to find someone she knew and soon- she was starved!
"Tori!" Lucifel called out the moment she noticed her sisters unmistakable red curls. She ran over to her and notice the other girl (who cared) and the puppy (awesome). "PUPPY!" She giggled and clapped. Her change of focus had done a complete 360. She clapped and giggled and immediately reached out to start petting the puppy.
Tori immediately reached out to catch her sisters hand. "Ask first. You never know if they bite or not." She pretty much knew that Jeff wouldn't unless he felt Jezebel was being threatened. But still it was the fact of the lesson.
"You no fun!" Lucifel made a humph sound as she folded her arms over her chest. "I want pet puppy!"

"Maybe I will." Jeze said with a nod and a shrug.
"Oh no, I meant I was training Jeff. He's still a puppy so he needed to be taught to obey my commands." she explained. "And the villaness thing is going well. Pilot's been helping me with it a lot - he's my arch nemesis so we figured he should help me if he wants his villain to be as good as him. It wouldn't be fun otherwise."
Jeze snorted, watching the sisters interact. "Go ahead and pet him. Jeff's a good puppy." she assured the child. Jeff was already standing up to sniff at Lucifel and didn't even have to lean up to lick her cheek.

"One day I'm surer than sure we'll be one another enemy," Tori sighed. She didn't really like the thoughts of having to fight with someone who was so similar. "However, when that day comes I'm sure we'll be equally match more so than now."
Lucifel stuck her tongue out at her sister and giggled. She then returned her attention to the puppy. "Jeff purdy!" She exclaimed as she reached out to touch him once more. "Big n' purdy!"

"I don't see why. You aren't the same kind of hero he is. Anyway, I'll have my hands full bothering Pilot." Jezebel assured her with a waved hand. Why would she bother with other heroes?
The puppy barked happily and wagged his tail, licking Lucifel's face again. Fun fun!

"I'll remember that," Tori said with a smile as she twisted a finger into one of her loose curls. She sighed softly, contently.
"Ah, here comes my dinner and your tea," she grinned.
"Me want! Me want!" Lucifel didn't care what it was- she was just that hungry. "We share? Please." She made sure to use her manors. She knew how important they were especially to her sister.
"No forget Jeff!" Lucifel giggled and clapped. "I sure he hungry to!" She returned to petting him. By this time there really wasn't an inch on him that she hadn't covered- except the privates, of course.
