We Are The Fallen's new album. AMMAZING. I saw them live with HIM....ugh the things I do for Evanescence. I met THE MOST elitist pig there. This guy kept saying how the "only music" started when HIM came on. I finally piped up and said that I was leaving before HIM came on because I don't like them at all. Stupid, I know, but I couldn't handle him turning to everyone around him and saying the same thing. There were some good bands on the tour like Dommin and WATF. He then looks at me demands I tell him why I am here. Then proceeds to say that EVanescence was the worst band to come out of the music scene...... ever. rolleyes I didn't lose my cool, I just shrugged. But when he tried to pull the lead singer of the punk band down, he almost got kicked out. And he shut the hell up after that. wink
Sensational prefromance by WATF though. I had a TON of fun, even though I went to the shwo by myself. A first for me, it was an expesive show though. Worth it, though. Totally worth it. Ugh, so much fun at a rock show. Didn't think they made them like that anymore, but they do!
So the album came out on Tuesday and I picked it up today. LIstening to it as I type. LOVE IT! I mean it's not Evanescence, but I really enjoy it. She's got a great voice and a great band behind her. Carly does try to sound like Amy Lee, but if you can ignore it, it's still great album.

I hate most rock/Metal concerts for that reason.
I enjo y EBM/Coldwave shows, everyone always really nice.

Speaking of Evanescence, is the "original" band planning to actually release any new material, or is Amy Lee just going to continue with her "No, it's my ball, you can't have it!" routine?

Amy Lee released a statement saying that she was basically going to continue down her own road under her own name.
*enter Ben Moody, John LeCompt, and Rocky Gray* Who all decided to from a band together plus a bass player and a vocalist who, though may not be as talented, has a pretty good set of pipes. AND ironically sang 'Bring Me To Life' on American Idol. They proclaim they are releasing an album under the name We Are The Fallen......a jab at Evanescence's debut release under Wind-up Records.
BAM! 3-6 days later Amy Lee releases a statement that a new album is in the works for a release late 2010, under the Evanescence name.
Ironic? I think not.
But I am still excited.
