Rainingsun was really coming into her own now that she was older. She had a nice slender build and nice thin legs. She really was starting to show signs of being quite the elegant female type. Not that any boys had started to notice yet.
Though honestly, Rainingsun had no time for this romance stuff. She just wanted to play and some times she'd even sneak out of the pack during the day. Like right now, as she scaled the packs border, sniffing at it. Should she cross?
Not to far off a male was about to end his long journey. He'd grown up mostly during the journey and was now a proud handsome male. His white and blue coat was much to be desired by others. Well groomed and kept.
Still, Chumani was a puppy at heart. He didn't move graceful like a proud wild dog, but more in a prance like motion. His tail wagging right behind him.
A dot of white caught Rainingsuns attention in the far reaches of the horizon. What was that? She had to know. Of course she had to get closer though. That meant crossing the border. Rainingsun gave the border a quick once over before stepping over it.
Chumani kept on in his prance toward a new scent. Hmm? What was this? He had to know. He still hadn't noticed the bright yellow dot making its way toward him.
The bright yellow dot sure as hell noticed thet clueless male. She knew what he was before she was close enough to make out full features. The scent , it was wild dog, but not pack. Male. She quickened her pace.
Chumani also quickened his pace. He'd just realized he was smelling one of his own and he'd just noticed the yellow dot.
Rainingsuns pace quickened faster as she went toward the shape. Just who was this? She had forgotten to give a warning yip.
The males pace quickened. He was to busy getting closer to realize how fast he was really going. He slammed right into rainingsun head on as a result.
Rainingsun fell backwards and hit the ground hard. The female laid there for a moment trying to gather what the heck had just happened.
The hit had flung the male back. Owww that really had hurt. Why had he been so stupid? The male shook his head and got up on all fours. His head was throbbing now.
"Are .. Are you alright.. miss?" He slowly made his way over toward the females seemingly limp body and nuzzled it. Oh man, that had been quite the impact...
Rainingsun stayed still for a little while. Still in shock. Just what.
"Miss?" The male tried again and nuzzled.
This time Rainingsun moved. She wasn't dead. That was good. A groan popped out of her maw.
"What.... just happened..."
The male sighed in relief.
"I think we ran into each other." He shook his head again. The headache was getting worse.
"Ran into each other.." She laughed, "Quite the headbutt?" Her head was throbbing now too. Owww....
"Can you get up?" He nuzzled at her again.
"Think so.." She groaned. Slowly she flipped onto her belly and even slower she got up on all fours. The pain throbbed more. The female let out another groan.
"My head ... wow you've must got a lead skull," She smirked.
The male laughed too.
"I was thinking the same about you. " He shook his head, "Well come on lets see if we can't walk these headaches off... That is if you feel alright walking with a stranger."
The female smiled at the male. He was cute and he had a nice coat of fur. Though she still had her pack..... would the notice if she was gone a few hours during the day? Rainingsun paused and thought.
"I take the smile as a maybe?" He tilted his head.
"Take it as a yes," She concluded finally. A walk would do her good after all. "Im going."
