Yeah it just happened recently that they took it off. The GCD and the SF are talking about the removable like crazy, not that it's unusual for those subforums. wink

In my opinion there is almost no such thing as an original. The only things that makes it a true original is when your name on it, or legal get royalties from it.

I think what people don't really get, is that QoD's Onigiri Rabbit was licensed by her that she put on her merchandise.
And Bento Bunny had a similar look to it, and was being used by Gaia to gain cash shop funds.
So there is some economical issues here as well, and not just a "I thought of it first!" issue
There's a rumor that the Gaia artist even admitted to using QoD's design? I dunno how true that is though.

I think I saw on DeviantArt that someone mentioned that a pixel artist for Gaia had told her that they were making an item inspired by her idea.

I'm sorry, but bento animal has been around especially the bunny, and they are defiantly not original concept or art. It's like me making some kind of "Kawaii muffins" and coin them as my original idea which they too have been around as well. All artists use other things as inspiration, dosen't mean YOU stole the idea or art since its been over use.
I don't see why they took they item off Gaia since there was no similarities with the Da artist. Ok, maybe one or two. Again, this idea is not original as it has been use multiply times. She mine as well tell everyone to remove all the onigari bunny on Da and other sites since she "copyright" it.

= wow, so now the new bundle is worth LESS...
yeah.. I just want the cupcake item anyways... although the sad part is.. >_>;; you have to get multiple of that stupid cupcake item to even make the full outfit...

I can understand why they took it off but I hope that once everything gets settled then they release it. I'd love it if they released it but with a new look and alot of different colored bento boxes (I can dream...).

once people know something cute has gone rare, they jack up the prices.. ugh

I don't think that it should be blamed all on the site, the users are the ones that are selling their items that have been banned already that are the problem with the insane price spiking. When the item returns then the gold that users are selling it for will drop, it's happened before with the newer RIG and the newer DC items that were rare.

No worries, Miyu. Alot of users do that anyways, go check out the starter clothes. It's not as bad as the Bento Bunny but it has the same principals.

Update:
The item is back but now in the item description it says: Cute and scrumptious, Bento Bunny is so adorable you won't be able to eat it for lunch no matter how hungry you are!
Re-released in cooperation with Queen Of Dorks smile
It's now selling in the MarketPlace for 500K.
