The past is the past, and Tomorrow is a new:

History:

*The rain was his first real memory... falling down upon him as he moved away from his birth place within the woods. What had happened to mother and father- he didn't know... no... One day they both just left... and never came back. Did he have bothers-- sisters? Maybe. He could not recall... much... All that he could remember was that same rain pushing him on, deeper into the dark unwelcoming woods... He was just a pup, a small one at that when he was set off into the world, alone and unsure; he didn't have a clue as of what to do... he was simply lost, in both surroundings and in mind. He couldn't commute with the fact that he was alone, and that no one would be around to look after him, he was so use to being his mother's only thought, but now.. She was gone... Father too. What was he to do?

Stumbling into the core of the old tattered woods, this pup found himself resting within the safety of a hallowed out tree trunk, at least this way he felt safe... didn't he? He would rest for days; weeks it seemed, before gaining enough backbone to withdraw himself from the womb of the trunk. With wide blue eyes, so pure and untainted he moved himself out and into sight, his deep red coat flashing to all around him. He was like a walking target within the woods, his coat the tone of blood, fire... and with eyes like ice, who could forget him? The woods seemed like a misty dream to him as he moved up and down the never ending labyrinth of wood and leaf. Searching for water, food even- but wait... he didn't know how to kill his own game; father had never gotten to show him... What was he to do now?

Wondering aimlessly, moving himself slowly, his paws inching forward as he made himself know to the forest, the pup fixed his sight upon a small riverbed, with light spring water shimmering as the faint sunlight peering through the three tops hit it. The red toned pup stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes moving to widen as he let a light gasp pass his maw; what a breathtaking sight.. Such beauty- but what was this? He was not eyeing the river's water- no; but what stood in it instead--

She was like the morning sky after a light rain, her being sent a chill up his back side. Before him stood the most breath taking sight he had never seen- was this because he had never encountered others like himself before?- maybe it was because he was so use to being alone, that the sight of this new wolf made him feel intoxicated?- Maybe.. Maybe. No, this one was different, his eyes never pulled away from her- her coat was so soft... and gray tinted, mixed with a light white, and her eyes; they kept his mind in check as she fixed them upon his small form- like the moon two yellow orbs set upon him, and pulled him into another world, as he gazed back into them. She was simply lovely, and he felt himself lust for her at once. He needed to be around her, he wanted to be with her, to stay with her now and for always.

Part 2: Found:

Why- was this his chance to replace his mother- father? Was this his way of coping with the fact that was we left to die, was left a stray? He didn't know... all he knew now was he wanted to be with her, and to have her with him... She could save him, he knew it. Light and dark, the eyed one another, until she moved out of the water; her slender form inching closer to his own, those intoxicating eyes never leaving his small, quivering form. With soft steps she moved herself to stand before him; her form larger then his own. She looked older, in age and form. He was still a pup after all; he was still in the process of learning, and growing. He looked up at her, with light blue eyes meeting- her own deep yellow. She gave him a light smile, and moved her snout down, her light pink nose inching along his forehead as she sniffed him, and snorted. She moved herself back up slightly, and spoke:

"What is your name?"

"Name..?"

"Mmm... You are alone?"

"Ye-yes..."

"You look so sad little one... so very sad. You will come with me and I will take care of you. That is, if you would like me to."

"Yes."

"Hah, Yes-yes-yes, is that the only word you know?"

"..."

"Ah.. one so young... so sweet. I will give you a name then, one that you will go by, alright?"

"Yes."

"Tristan. That will be your name. I am Aoife and I will look after you from now on."

Part Three: Thank you for being you:

Blue Blue day make me blue

She was the one that put him back onto his paws when he fell, and from that day on she would be his morning, afternoon and night. She would always be with him, and she would always look over him. She would show him the love he so desperately needed, and she would never let harm come to him. He spent all of his time with her, like a mother and child at first, she showed him the ways of the land, and taught him how to hunt, fish, stalk, and cover up his tracks after a kill, so that no one would follow his sent. She showed him life and all of the aspects of it, she told him stories when he couldnt sleep and she tended to his wounds when ever he came back with a cut or two.

But as time passed and he grew, both in body and in mind- he slowly started to feel for her, as more then a friend, mother, or alley. He had feelings for her, he loved her- knew her best- he would spend his time now trying to gain her attention and affection as well- yes. He was a young adult now and was filled with an energy and life like no other, he would dash through out the woods, and collect small rabbits for her pleasure, like tokens of his gratitude, and he would give her everything she longed for, he wanted her to be happy.

It was a dark night, and they both wondered along the riverbed, the same river that they found each other at- the place of his rebirth, or so he called it. She really did save him... It was raining, softly upon the two as they sat at the side of the river bed, Tristan was bigger in form than she was now, and as he sat up straight his head passed hers and his form slightly hovered over her own. She was frail looking, but strong... so strong. Like fire and ice they sat and gazed out and past the misty river, both spoke no words. What was to be sad? They both felt content and at peace... no words were needed to express this feeling of bliss. Slowly Aoife moved her head to rest along his upper shoulder; his body muscles tightened with her touch. His ears pinned back slightly as he sat, and listened to her heart beat, slowly-- this was his chance. He could tell her how he felt, he longed for this moment. Speaking out softly, the male whispered:

"Thank you..."

"You do not have to thank me... we have talked about this before I did what I did-"

"I love you."

--Being cut off in mid sentence the light coated female wolf moved herself up from her resting place and eyed him; her deep yellow eyes fixing onto his own dimmed eyes. His words, his being...

"Tristan..."

"Please... just let me say it."

"..."

Moving herself to him the female wolf nuzzled herself into his chest, and rested, her form nuzzling into his own as they both faced one another. Her face was hidden within his chest fur, and he could feel her hot breath press against him as she panted slightly. She would forever be his- in his own mind he knew... they were meant to be. That night both wolves rested by the river bed, side by side, in what they called: Bliss.

Part Four: Future is to unfold:

It must have been months; the winter's wind had come sooner this year then the last and the new wolf mates moved quickly to find a place to call home for the winter. It was harder this year, because Aoife was now expecting, and with cubs on the way it made the search all the more difficult. Tristan was the one that would have to hunt for a place for his new family, he would have to protect her and his cubs now. Moving himself past his mate he would wander, sniffing out new locations within the woods. They would need a place to stay soon, that was a given.

One night after searching for hours that male stumbled upon an old cave that looked to be empty, though he did not check.. oh no, he was far too pleased with his find to take the time to make sure it was uninhabited. With all of his speed he dashed back to his mate and told her of his find- they both seemed happy. That night he took her back to the cave and the two moved into it, it was hard to say if this was the din of another, all of the scents within the cave seemed to have been faded, so they simply assumed that it was safe for the taking. With a light sigh both wolves rested themselves within the cave, safe from the up coming winter ahead.

Darkness rained over the two one night as the crashing rains from above fell onto the forest like nothing before; the winds blew hard, and swift. Thankfully they had this din to themselves, and Tristan would look after his mate, he loved her so, he would always be there to protect her. But to every good thing that happened in his life, there would be a bad. Darkness fell over the cave that they resigned in, snarling from outside could be heard. Both wolves moved up from resting and inched themselves back, unaware that this cave indeed did belong to another, a much larger... and stronger being.

And again the deep snarling was let out, slowly the sound drew near, closer, closer-- until the beast that had been stalking the cave entered, as dark as the night, with eyes like fire the large animal- bear moved closer to them, its teeth and fang like canines showing as it snarled and stood on its hind paws. With claws like daggers both wolves pulled back- what was he to do-- was the really happening? He couldn't take on this bear- he had never fought against anything this large- was he really this weak... he would have to do something, his mate needed him-- but right before he could push himself out at the bear Aoife had pushed herself at the large beast and was barking to grab it's attention.

Tristan in a panic stopped and watched her as she defended not only herself, but him as well-- what was she doing!?- She would be killed. Moving himself to speak, he called out to her:

"Stop it! Come on let's go!"

"Go Tristan! GO NOW!"

Because he was all that she had in life she put herself on the line to insure his safety. She stood in front of him and eyed the beast, before pushing herself at it- and within one second his life was ripped way from him. It was like slow motion, everything stopped-- the bear's large paws pushed out at her as she jumped at him; his claws pushing into her side as she let out a yelp; her body being pushed to the side of the cave. Blood splattered along the stone ground as the male wolf stood in horror; She was fighting for him and all he could do was stand and watch- a sick feeling slowly built up within him as the bear moved over to her limp form, what was he too do!?

With little energy his beloved spoke out to him again, as if to leave him with her dying words, she spoke:

"Please... run... go."

Tears, rain, he couldn't tell what blinded his vision as he darted out of the cave, his dark red form pushing past the trees and fallen leafs as his black tipped paws pushed him deep into the woods- this wolf was broken. He would never stop running, she wanted him to live, and she wanted it! Why did this hurt so much- she was all that he had- it was unfair-- they were going to have cubs- why did she do this?! Why couldn't he protect her... why? He couldn't think all he could do was run... run as far away as he could- the rains hit him hard but he pressed on, though he was crying inside... he would not show his tears.

But you can skyrocket away from me
and never come back if you fnd another galaxy
Far from here, with moor room to fly
Just leave me your stardust to remember you by

Part Five: Run on:

Run, run, run...

Moving himself for what seemed like hours the male wolf stopped, his eyes fixing onto the riverbed, the place of his happiness... fate was so cruel... he was given a gift only to have it ripped away from him. Whimpering softly the male moved himself out and into the opening of the river's edge, his head and yellow tipped tail hung low, in shame. He was covered with the sent of her blood... though he could not see it upon himself he knew it was there... hunting his mind, as if to remind him that he had let the only thing he had in life die, because he was too weak.. He was too weak.

Pushing his black tipped paws into the cold, rain drenched river the wolf pulled himself in, walking along the rivers bottom until the water hit his chest. Rain fell down upon him softly as he stood, eyeing down at his reflection, with an emotionless expression. He had lost it all... it was his fault his best friend... his mate was gone... along with his soon to be offspring. He would never forgive himself--... would she?

Part Six: To a state of mind that no-one knows:

This is an obsession, a kind of agression with himself
It's the way he'll always be
He loves to rebel, to go against his ten commandments
For him, thats just being free.

And he always will, get his thrills, the only way he knows how
Well it might make you frown
But he loves being that dove, roaming where he cares to go
To a state of mind that no-one knows.

-More to come.-

*When her father left her and her mother alone Ashe knew that something had to be up. For many weeks he had been going to another place, without any words to his mate or family. Ashe missed her father every time he left, but when he returned she always seemed to smile, just for him. Only later on did she find out from her mother that her father had another family not too far from the waterbed. Ashe was torn, though she wanted to be just like her father she knew now she wanted nothing to do with him. He shamed her family, her mother and herself for that matter. Past that point… her father was dead to her.

After that Ashe never heard from her father again. Only a few months later did her mother tell her of his death, along with his new mates. They were both killed by man, her mother tried to tell her… but Ashe would have no part of it. She didn’t care anymore, all that she cared about was that her father was indeed dead, it saved her the trip of finding him and doing off with him herself when she grew up.

Ashe’s mother was a pinch black she-wolf with eyes like the sun, and though she was more so her father’s daughter Ashe liked to believe that she took after her mother in everyway. After the news of her father’s death settled in she and her mother left the safety of the den and went searching for new life. It had only been a short while before her mother found love again, within the status of an alpha. He already had many pups of his own, so when her mother came along he really wasn’t looking for tag along.

He wanted a female that would birth more of /his/ pups, not a female that had a stomach to fill. Needless to say… her mother wanted the male’s love more then she wanted her pup and just as soon as they settled down with him and his pack her mother came to her and spoke.*

“Ashe my dear, I am sorry but I can not take care of you anymore.”

“…What? Why not!?”

“Your too old… you should go... learn to take care of yourself.”

“But mother! I have no where else to go! I have no other family! Mother… I.”

“Listen to her, you are no longer wanted at your mothers side, take leave or I will send my son after you. You are now trespassing on my lands, you are not wanted here.”

*Ashe didn’t leave… she couldn’t; her mother was all she had left- and she just lost her father! Why was this happening to her! It was so unfair!... but her stubbornness lead to her defeat, because when she refused to leave… the male really did get his son after her… and he forcefully dragged her out of the lands; his jaws roughly clasped around her back neck as he pulled her along and to the end of the river, there he released her… alone and semi-conscious.

When Ashe awoke she was covered in dry blood and water and though apart of her wanted to get up and go back to where her mother was… she did not. She was shamed now and alone. Her own blood left her, twice. Who was she to believe now? Who was she to trust? When she regained her full awareness she left the riverside and walked north, and continued to walk nether, until she found softly within the company of a wood.

She lived within the wooden area for quite some time, keeping herself hidden from the world, ashamed… and torn.*

Pending still
