Marii just loved the outdoors as it was filled with so many sighs and sounds, so many places to explore and to hide to ambush peoples unawares that he was there. He was just so very excited that when his mother thought it would be a good idea to go on a weekend hike just the two of them and to were she could teach him to live out in the woods if he need to. But Val had to think that he could manage good on his own as he could attract any type of animals to eat with his lure.
So Val was setting up a small base camp that was very hidden from anyone around and you had to litterly stumble across it to find the camp, it was Val's speciality to be secrative it all came with being a ninja. But Marii was out and exploring around the area as he did find a well know hiking trail and even that day had seen a few people walking along the trail. He thought a very good place to set up an ambush as he smiled and found a good place to hide. When all hidden all that could be seen of Marii from the trail was his lure that was slightly glowing.

Being away from the crowds of a city and being more alone was right up Dooma's ally. She hated the bustling and noise that was brought with large cities. So when Vali had brought up that he would like to try camping she was the first one to leave their apartment in the city. As soon as she was out in the forest again she felt more free and relaxed. If it were not for the fact that Vali needed to be near his spawn friends and the company right now she would have already moved them back to some place smaller and more wild.
Vali was so excited. The only other time he had been outside in the woods had been when he had gone to a maple syrup farm. His trademark smile was in full gear and he walked along the hiking path. He had a small pack on his back but Dooma was carrying most of their gear. He was trying to take everything in when he saw a faint purple glow. It looked like strange little fruit or flower that was on a bush with no flowers. "Um Dooma....do things out here glow?" he asked softly.
Dooma looked down at her spawn, "Well there are some animals that have bioluminescence which causes them to glow at night. Fireflies are best known for this. But it would be too early to see them." she said. Her normally keen eyes looking past the lure more interested in find a place to set up camp. She did not want to set up in a popular spot nor too close to the trail. But she was going to make sure they were close enough should anything happen and they need help.
Vali gave a nod to Dooma words and as she moved on he started to move towards the lure. It was rather pretty and somewhat familiar but he could not, for the life of him, place it. His smiles grew wider as he drew closer. It looked really soft to the touch. Slowly he started to reach his hand out towards the faintly glowing bulb. Surely a quick touch could not hurt.

Marii tail tip wagged quietly when he heard others on the trail and hoped that maybe one of them would see his lure. But he got a grin a mile wide when he spotted who was attracted to his lure as it was the cool metal kid from the sleepover as did want to meet everyone there more, but there was a little too many people there and he liked to pounce the people he met anyways as that was the fun part.
So it was very hard for him to keep quite enough to let Vali get closer. Moveing the lure around a little as Marii was getting ready for the pounce. Just before he was going to pounce his lure stopped glowing as he popped out of the bushes very fast and pounced onto Vali with his huge grin and happy as all could be.

Vali was so excited his hand was just about to touch the glowing orb but then the light went out. He gasped and grew worried. Oh no! I must have broke....His thoughts were interrupted as a large reptilian face appeared followed by an equally reptilian body. He gave a shout as his body fell backwards as Marii's pounce landed successfully.
It took a moment for him to recognize the face but luckily before he was about to hit his attacker he saw that it was Marii, Bleez's friend at the slumber party. And his grin grew equally large. "I know you!" he said excitedly. "Did you see the glowing thing too?"
Dooma hearing the cry had moved back onto the trail only to find her spawn pinned under another spawn and both grinning from ear to ear.

Marii giggled more as he loved when he was successful in his pounces that didn't end up in getting bitten like when he would bounce one of his brothers and his tail wagging a mile a minute. "Yep, yep. I'm Marii," he said just as a reminder as knew the other as well and he grinned even bigger when asked were the glowing thing was as Marii knew what it was.
Getting off of Vali as Marii was still smileing as he giggled a little too. "Yes I did, but its attached to me," he said as he wiggled the lure on his head and let it glow a little as well to see that it was the lure that Vali had seen.
Val has hurd some one cry and sigh to herself as she knew that Marii had pounced someone on the trail and if he got introuble she was going to let him get out of it himself as she contured to set up camp.

See that the two spawn knew each other and would behave Dooma shook her head and continued to find herself and Vali a nice place to stay.
If Vali's eyes could be see they would have been as wide as saucers. "Oh wow it is attached to you? That is awesome!" he could not help his hand from trying to reach out and touch the faintly glowing bulb. "That is really awesome Marii!"
He stopped his hand as soon as he realized he was reaching out again with a laugh. "Oh sorry. It is just so pretty! My name is Vali. I saw you at the slumber party huh? You are friends with Bleez too huh?" He liked it that he got to meet a friend of a friend. It was kinda cool. And This reptilian spawn seemed more of an oddity like himself.

"Yep it is," he replied as he made his lure bounce lightly around and smiled. Marii saw that Vali was reaching out to touch his lure and found it funny and knew that most people couldn't resist it. "Well its nice to meet you Vali and I saw you too but I was a little shy to say much as I like bouncing people to meet them," he said with a huge grin on his face. "Yes I am, she is very fun to pounce. Also if you do want to touch my lure go a head I don't mind," he replied still with a smile on his face as he didn't mind one bit as his tail wagged behind him.

Vali's grin surprisingly got even bigger now that he had been given permission to touch the glowing purple lure. His cool metallic fingers brush the end of the bulb and he laughed, "Oh wow I really like the feel or it. It is kinda soft but firm at the same time." He was finally able to look away from the beautiful purple hue though his fingers still rested against it softly. "Oh you can be shy and pounce people at the same time? You don't seem shy at all." He thought back at the party and realized that he and Marii had for the most part avoided each other that night. Not out of fear but it just seemed they each had their own company to keep. "Well I am glad we could meet today. And maybe next time I see Bleez I shall try and pounce her. If she likes it so much and she is so fun to pounce."

Marii giave a huge grin as it sorta tickled when Vali touched his lure and his touch was intersting feeling too and didn't mind one bit that he was still touching it. "That it is. I also have two other lure at the end of my tail," he said as he brought his tail around to where Vali could see the end of his tail. "Well shy when I can't pounce people as it fun and I don't know another way of introduceing myself too well," he said as he had met intersting people by pounceing and some didn't like it very much. "I be glad to meet you as well as you are fun too and to pounce too. I think that she might like that," he answered as he thought on how it would look and he just had to smile. "So what are you doing around here?" he asked.

Vali turned to look at the two other lures. It was so cool to see two more glowing ones. He did not even think about it as his fingers reached out and stroked the lures smiling down at them. "Your surprisingly soft. You can pounce me when ever you like." He said happily. "Oh you think I am fun? Your fun too. I think pouncing is a fun way to greet people. Though I bet not everyone likes to get hit." he said softly and then nods turning to point behind him. "My guardian Dooma thought it would be nice to go...um....camping. What about you Marii, why are you out here? Are you alone? If so you can come and stay with us! Though I would not pounce Dooma. She normally keeps some kind of blade on her." He leaned in and whispered a bit at the last bit.

Marii had to giggles as it tickled when Vali stroked his tail lures. "I get that from my sin as he is a water demon and I have lots of his qualities as I have met him once," he answered. "Yes I do and thanks," he said and chuckled a little too. "That is very true and some of those types can get mad too,"
Listening to that Vali had said and found it intersting as he for as long as he could remember had gone camping lots with his mother and his siblings. "Camping its fun as it always nice to fall asleep watching the stars. I'm also doing the same with my mother as she is setting up out camp," Marii said with a huge grin on his face as that would be a chalange in its self to pounce Dooma. "I'm not worried about that. I can deal with blades as I have do deal with that type of things all the time at home,"

"Oh so you get to come camping a lot. That is so cool and you get to work with blades. That is cool too. That must be how you knew how to pounce on me and not get cult." he smiled brightly and then looked over past Marii's shoulder. "So your mom is over there? Maybe I can meet her and you can meet mine. Then maybe we can hang out more often." his silver tail swayed with happiness at thought of getting to hang with someone large like himself and someone who knew about blades. So he would not have to worry about cutting Marri.
Maybe Bleez was right and Marri was a really cool spawn to hang with.and hopefully he would be able to become more familiar with this large lizard like spawn.

"I do here and in the forest at my mothers village. Tho that forest is a little more dangerous that this one is." he answered as he thought of the plants that hit when you got too close to them and they were huge and scary. "Well at least know how to dodge them good enough at least and yeps," he said with a wag of his own tail happily. "Sure it would be lots of fun! Come on then," he said getting off of Vali to have him meet his own mother as he wasn't really worried about the blades that Vali had on his own body as they were cool, but if Marii cut himself on them he wouldn't worry too much as he doesn't feel pain and would just wrap it up to heal.
Marii was happy to get to know Vali some more as he was intersting and he hoped that Tarth and Taena wouldn't be back from scouting the area.

Vali smiled and listened, "Wow that sounds like a really interesting home place. Maybe I could come and see it. I think it would be good to learn to dodge then maybe I can give you a bit of a challenge next time Marii!" he giggled and got up as Marrii did. His smile was very big as he tried to figure out what Marii's mother looked like. So far camping was awesome and really fun and Marii got to do it so much he was really excited to meet her. She must be a real out doors person. He wondered if she were lizard like as well.

Marii grined very big at what he heard as it would be lots of fun and intersting. "Its is and yes you will have to come over sometimes as well," he said as he thought to how Vali would react to Tarth's antics of makeing Dritan's wings 'talk'. "That it would and I will take you on that challenge," he said with a smirk.
It wasn't too long of a walk, but it was good and hidden from the main trail. As they entered the camp it looked like a normal camping site with tents that were normal looking as well. But as Marii looked around he didn't see his mother around as there was a fire going as he thought that is were he thought she would be.
"So what are you boys looking for," a voice said behind them.
