In Colonial times Delmor served as a port of access for ships, now the docks are a bit small for commercial use and have become a site for storage and fishing. Several warehouses line the wharf belonging to various companies. It is suspected by the police that some of these are used for illegal activities.

User ImageThe headlights bounced and splashed across the two heavy doors to the warehouse. Putting the car in neutral he hopped out and shoved the doors open with all his might. He got back into the wounded animal and drove it into the building He had left the door open on purpose and went to a crate by the wall. opening it he pulled out a box of ammunition belts. The second crate he opened had a Browning M2 .50 Caliber Heavy Machine gun in it along with a tripod. Setting these up he laid down and flicked the sight up and waited.

User ImageNot before long, Sentinel was in sight, speeding towards the warehouse. His shoulder was burned slightly from the explosion of the pistol round. All too late did he notice the large machine gun in possession of 'Kevin'.

Kevin grinned Menacingly from behind the gun as he pushed down the trigger buttons with his thumbs. The gun started up with a puff puff puff puff noise and then the first bullet of the gun belt entered the chamber and "Kevin" let fire on the bike and it's owner laughing like a loon. "Just like I said hero boy! The real world isn't as nice as the comic one! Heroes aren't impervious to bullets in this world! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" He maneuvered the gun in a circular motion to keep the bullets within a decent area of the bike.

Sentinel served over to the right, barley avoiding the bullets that were flying at him. Three hit his bike however, and sparks flew out of where they made contact. Sliding across the ground, the bike came to a halt as Sentinel came off of the steel horse, grunting in pain. He had skinned his leg up pretty badly in the slide. At least 'Kevin' couldn't see him now; Sentinel had passed the door and was on the other side of the warehouse. Walking over to the wall, Sentinel received his iPhone from his wrist and pushed it against the wall, turning it on. Activating his own personal application called iX-Ray, Sentinel was able to look at the tiny viewscreen and through the wall at a grainy image of 'Kevin'.

Taking out his two swords, Sentinel crept around to the backdoor of the warehouse and opened it, charging at the criminal commando. Leaping into the air, Sentinel twirled his swords as he came down on 'Kevin'.

Something was wrong. Their was the chance he had killed Sentinel but that would be too easy, these monsters were like cockroaches; you simply can't kill them no matter what you do. Lifting his hands off the gun he suddenly became aware of the deathly silence. He was about to stand up when a sword punctured his shoulder and knees dug into his back. He laughed, "You don't disappoint, that's for sure boy." He wrenched the sword out of his shoulder and rolled on to his back. Planting both of his feet on Sentinel's chest he whispered, "Mark my words boy, when it's all said and done I will kill you. Maybe not today but I will kill you. You see you've just become the trophy that I want." He forced Sentinel off of his chest and stood haphazardously. Spitting he grinned, "Let's see what you've got then."

Twirling the one sword he had, he took a defensive stance. Sentinel wasn't sure how good 'Kevin' was at hand-to-hand combat, but he would see now.

"You're no fun, say something damn you!" He said twirling the blade which only moments ago had given him a ghastly wound to the shoulder. He leveled the sword and pointed it at the hero's chest. "En garde!" He cried as he took a stance to do a large sweeping and slashing style attack.

Sentinel stepped back, taking a more defensive pose. His sword was still pointed at Kevin.

Swinging high Kevin ran at Sentinel before springing up and changing his attack to a plunging motion so as to stab Sentinel. He may be crazy but he knew when odds were stacked against him and he for certain knew when to fight dirty. He had an additional knife hidden in his boot that he was waiting to use when Sentinel least expected it.

Stepping to the side, Sentinel launched himself into the air. Performing a horizontal twist, Kevin's stolen sword just barely scratched his arm as he passed by. Landing on his feet, Sentinel lunged towards Kevin's back, which was now exposed.

The blade slid silently through his thoracic cavity, just to the left of his heart and partially slicing through the lung. The blade sticking out of his chest looked like something out of a movie and was hard to believe. "Kevin" looked at it with a sense of shock that dulled the pain nearly completely. He winced and let out a small gurgling noise as he toppled into a heap on the floor, it seemed that this would be the end of "Kevin's" mad dash on the city.

Sentinel retrieved the blade from 'Kevin's' heart and wiped the blood off on 'Kevin's' shirt. Standing up, he heard police sirens coming close. That was going to be a problem. Sheathing both of his weapons, Sentinel made his way to the backdoor of the warehouse that he had used before. Hopping onto his shot-up bike, Sentinel twisted the throttle and sped away, just as the red and blue lights were coming around the corner.

The lone warehouse was far from the prying eyes of the police or any curious civilians. It was in the section that no one dared venture to, much less even pretend it existed. Hobos and drug pushers littered the street as much as the actual trash that no one bothered to pick up. This was the main power house that drove the drug machine in Delmor. Ships would come in weekly and drop of the material where it was refined and packaged in the warehouse. Then it was distributed to the dealers when it would then be sold to the customers. They even had armed guards at the entrances.

Sentinel peeked up from under the dock he was hanging from. The only guard in sight was the one covering the back entrance. A single light was the only illumination, and the guard was standing right under it. Good. Supporting his weight with his left hand and legs that pushed against one of the beams, Sentinel threw a throwing knife as hard as he could at the light when the guard had turned his head. The bulb shattered into a million pieces, showering the guard with glass.

"What the..." the man muttered, turning around to observe the broken light. Before he knew it, a hand covered his mouth and yanked his head back. A knife slashed across his throat, severing major arteries and cutting into the windpipe. The last sounds the guard made were that of sick gurgling as he fell to the ground, limp. Retrieving his throwing knife and holstering it, Sentinel glared down at the body. Was it necessary to kill him? Would it be necessary to kill any of them. Yes, he told himself. They forfeited their right to live when they decided to ruin others lives by selling drugs. They didn't deserve to live.

There were at least twenty people inside, moving around boxes and placing them by folding tables which had measuring equipment and bags. The lead man, Rick, had enough men that he could merely observe and make sure his men did the right things. "Move this box that way. No you idiot, the other way," he commanded, using his gun to point in whichever direction he was referring to. He lit up a cigarette and started to puff on it, ignorant to the fact it would kill him in around twenty years of lung cancer. But his time would come sooner than that.

Suddenly the lights went off. All of them. There was a slight pause as the dumb kid's heads were registering what was going on. Then the conversations started. "Who's got a flashlight?" "Did someone trip a breaker?" "What's going on?" Eventually a flashlight was found, but it was two late for the two men on the catwalk. The guys on the bottom didn't even notice that their comrades were lying in bleeding crumpled heaps above them. Some people even turned on their cell phones to give themselves a little light. The drug operations were quickly forgotten. Now it was a matter of finding out what was going on.

One lad, alone, wandered too close to a row of large boxes. He was gone and no one even noticed. No noises or anything. The next one was able to get out a gasp of surprise as suddenly two swords appeared in his cell phone light and slashed his throat. "Donny, you say something? Donny?" Now some of them started to get nervous. Too late though. Three more were gone before one could get out a scream. The next victim did though; and at that everyone started to get in groups and move around, weapons locked and loaded. A group of three were up on the catwalk when suddenly two behind got their heads cut off while the one in front was stabbed deeply in his torso, his lungs punctured and therefore rendering a cry for help useless. Under the same catwalk, a team of five were moving towards the breaker room. A presence landed in between them; scaring one person and causing him to fire his weapon. The muzzle flash revealed Sentinel for a fraction of a second as he slashed off the arm of the man. More shots rang out as the team of now four tried to at least get Sentinel. In around ten seconds they were all lying in crumpled heaps.

All of the teams rushed over to try and find Sentinel, but it made it too easy for the predator. They were picked off one by one if they got even a little too far from the wandering group. Before he knew it, Rick was the only one left, retreating to the center and away from potential hiding places. His M9 Beretta was held out, ready to fire even though he was blind now. The light directly over top of his head suddenly turned on, so powerful that it was almost like a spotlight. Sweating profusely, he shouted, "Come on, man! Come on out!" After a second or two of no answer, he yelled at the top of his lungs, "Come out you little-"

His sentence was interrupted as out of the darkness an arm appeared and sliced off his hand that was holding the gun. Screaming in pain, Rick nearly fell to his knees in agony. Without warning, his ugly head was slashed off from behind, ending the screaming. Then Sentinel merely stood there, being visible for the first time in around twenty minutes. He didn't even have to use his cloaking device. The darkness helped well enough. Sighing, he sheathed his swords and flexed his hands. Wanted for murder. Interesting. He ended nearly twenty five lives tonight. Community service, right? Cleaning up the trash?

Leaving out the back exit, Sentinel took to the tops of buildings once more.

User ImageUsing his police scanner Anthony made it to the scene of the massacre a half an hour to an hour after Sentinel left. The scene was absolutely appalling and brought a vivid flashback to Anthony's skull. The slaughtering of buddhist monks as they sat stock still, not lifting a finger in protest. Anthony stumbled forward, head foggy, heart hammering. He heard sirens and cops pulling up outside and quickly became invisible. He snuck out the back door same as Sentinel had done an hour beforehand and took the crowbar he'd used to pry the storm drain open. He'd seen enough here. He'd taken what he needed and took off into the night tuning into his scanner and taking guesses at where Sentinel would head next.
