Leonard really couldn't seem to win with his Feraligatr. He fought so hard to catch the darn thing in the first place with his Dark Ball. And now it's not as useful as he'd thought... mainly because he had trouble controlling it. Like always.

It wasn't so much that she didn't listen to his commands. She did, better than any of his other Pokemon. But the dark Feraligatr, who he called Tiamat, couldn't stop once she started fighting. It's as if the Dark Ball twisted her ferocity into an unstoppable bloodthirst. It made her impossible to train, since she'd break any equipment he used or knocked out his other Pokemon. But it's not like she needed much training anyway... She was already one of the powerhouses on his team.

Leonard still didn't like leaving her out of his control though. What could he do to tame her? He had absolutely no idea, and he didn't have anyone to turn to. If people knew that he couldn't control his Pokemon... well, he'd rather not think about it too much.

Luckily, right now she was asleep on the remains of a Pokedoll Leonard hoped would calm her down. So he sat there, drinking from a juice box, wondering what to do.

Leonard looked up from his pondering and saw a familiar face. He didn't actually know his name but they've met before... while he was having troubles with Omega. Ah, good times.

"No, he's perfectly fine." Which was partially true. He wasn't as ADD as he was before, but he was still a bit too hyper to be efficient in battle... Considering what Omega's like though, he took it as a massive improvement.

"It's just her that's the problem now." Leonard pointed to the sleeping Feraligatr. "She's asleep now, but if she was awake, then that Pokedoll wouldn't be the only thing in shreds..."

"It's just a bit of water..." After all his Pokemon have done to frustrate him, he didn't mind being spray with water anymore. Luckily Tiamat wasn't prone to doing that, she liked to bite and claw at him instead.

Speaking of her, it looked like she was aroused by the talking. But she only opened an eye lazily before going back to sleep. Still, Leonard scooched back and gave her a bit of distance.

"From that mission in the swamp. And she wasn't easy to catch either." Leonard said. "It was hard enough to weaken her, especially when you have a useless partner, and then said partner tries to catch her for himself, and yeah..."

Wait, this guy said he caught a Totodile on a mission, didn't he? And that whole fight was over some Totodiles that got away... so he was lucky enough to catch one of them. He might've preferred the Totodile now, instead of the Feraligatr, since he would've been able to actually control it.

"It just takes time though. And lots of patience." Leonard didn't want to sound like a complete moron so he ended it off on that note.

"I bet there wasn't a shiny Feraligatr, and Seth just threw us out there for the heck of it." Leonard said while he watched him release the Totodile. Immediately, the little Pokemon sprayed her trainer with water, but at least he was prepared. Some of the water splashed onto Leonard by chance, but he really wasn't bothered by it.

The noise woke the Feraligatr up however. She slowly raised her head, still a little groggy and trying to see what the noise was all about. When she saw the Totodile, something inside of her was sparked and she stood up at an impressive height. Tiamat roared angerly and bared her teeth, but whether at the Pokemon or the human Leonard couldn't tell.

"... She might be your Totodile's mother actually." He hoped that she won't proceed to maul either one of them, and had his hand on her Pokeball just in case.

Tiamat turned to the Totodile and leered at her. For a moment, it looked like she was going to attack her own child, since her eyes were still blazing with fury. But she just continued to stare at her for a couple seconds before roaring again. The Feraligatr then launched a massive column of water at Panther, definitely bigger than the one the Totodile squirted at him moments ago.

Unfortunetly, the Hypnosis missed, and the attack made Tiamat even angrier. Leonard knew that this would only end badly, and tried to return the raging Feraligatr.

"Come back Tiamat!" He held out her Pokeball and a red beam was emitted from the middle towards the said Pokemon. But somehow, she managed to evade and turned her malicious glare to Leonard. It seemed like she was debating whether to attack him, the other human, or the Gengar. But it decided to attack everyone in the room with a monstrous Surf that swamped the entire room.

And even though Leonard was a bit wet already, he definitely minded the giant tidal wave. The water slammed him against the wall, where he cough and sputtered violently. "Damnit!"

Tiamat was struck by the Dark Pulse, but wasn't phased too much by it. Like with the Hypnosis, the attack made her only angrier, and this time she wanted nothing else than to destroy the Gengar. Ignoring her daughter's cries, she stomped over to him and attempted a nasty Crunch attack.

Leonard was still a little dizzy from the tidal wave, but he shakedly held out the Dark ball and tried again to recall her. His reactions were too slow though, as the Feraligatr attacked before he would manage to return her.
