We've all heard the story of Thrasher Thomas Turner. The 32 year old man who murdered his wife in the dead of night.

"It was an accident, I swear!" So he claims...the jury fell in love with his heartbreaking story.

"I came home late one night to find her curled up on the kitchen floor, a beautiful candlelit dinner above her body on the kitchen table. A few bites were taken out of the steak on the left side of the table. I tried my best to revive her...my beautiful heart..." Heart is what he called her. Her real name was Elizabeth Hunning Turner.

"What time did you arrive home that night, Mr. Turner?" Silence...tears rolled down the man's cheeks. That was his mistake. He froze up. Couldn't tell a lie. That was always Turner's way. It would help her father to not feel so alone.

On a warm morning in May, Sarah Turner married Joe Barber, a spoiled construction worker, who refuses to cut the umbilical cord from his high-class parents. On a warm morning in august, her former husband was found dead in the bathtub, a piece of chocolate cake splattered on the floor on top of a broken glass plate.

With the help of her sister Cara, Sarah was able to clean up the evidence and stash the body. A good lawyer, her father-in-law, helped get her off without any consequences.

Only through death-our voices will join together.

Cara takes her sister out of town after sucessfully getting her sister out of a muder trial, with the help of her brother William. Nicholas and William accompany Sarah, and plan to have her see the phsycologist, Dr. Honey, who is a long-time friend of Nicholas's. Sarah agree's, but regrets leaving her father.
