Darn you Al Davis I want your team to suck still. Heres a link.I know why Al Davis fired JaMarcus it was for economic reason and reason that whenever he played he sucked hard. Al Davis said he was going to be a great Quarterback. Well it backfired at him because he kept firing coaches, remember Lane Kiffin, remember Jeff Garcia. I sure don't.

If he wasn't drafted by the Raiders he probably could have been good, but he had no mentor, no receivers, a half-decent O-line and a pitiful defense and Al Davis CAN'T DRAFT TALENT!!!!!!!!
Fun Fact: Al Davis did not control the drafting this year, his scouts did, and LOOK WHAT HAPPENED! They had a really good draft.

He showed no commitment, he was out of shape, and he never had the desire to win. Sure, the Raiders are a bad organization now, but Russell never wanted to lead or become a starting quarterback.

Al Davis' criteria for talent? arm strength and 40 yard time... and hype.

as a diehard raider fan i bought into the jamarcus russel hype, bought a jersey and thought he was the future. but in his 2nd year i heard an interveiw he did and i was shocked. he was the most in inarticulate stupid sounding human being i have ever heard. he sounds like a drug fried hobo, right then i knew he was NO nfl qb,and he was NO nfl player
