Elfshaman
well of course its not required.you could do a spell to get more money any time you wanted. but the idea is if you know how to, you can choose to do it during the waxing moon and use that extra energy to boost the effectiveness of your spell
Close, the idea also extends to. Some spells actually require a specific phase of the moon as well. However, it can get more complicated than that as well. Often times the feel of that particular night could be your cue it's a good night to practice magic as well. I guess it's just on a case by case basis to put it quite simply.
For instance, watching events. Sometimes certain rituals work better placed at certain times. So, say you are in one hell of a lucky streak. So much so, you can't believe it!
You can feel like you deserve it and want the luck and demand the luck. Your streak will end.
ORRRRR
Do a meditation or ritual or something for humility, humbled nature, gratefulness, acknowledgements... yada yada yada...
And with that second option you'll find the universe is a bit nicer to you. Sometimes powerful magic has nothing to do with the level of the caster, to some degree. power still holds sway of course and always will.
Sometimes, all someone has to do, to find powerful magic. Is know what signs to look for and know WHEN the universe is presenting them with an option to help them out. If they look at the proper signs and follow that trail, and give thanks.
That's just good Karma right there.
From my experience at least. I really hope that made sense. That's just something I've noticed from my practice.
And, for the record, the reason I keep my practice so secret. Is because, not everyone I associate with even wants to be revealed and people need to respect that.
On top of that. I don't really care to answer any questions or see any questions really unless I openly invite them to ask questions about what I do.
But, then it's on my terms. I just like to reveal what I do on my terms so I'm not interrogated by some overnight practitioner who read a few books by an author just looking to make a few bucks. And now they think they know everything about magic.
And, when I don't talk so openly of my practices. I tend to avoid that behavior completely. Which is more why I like it than anything else.
