 The Hidden Treehouses are high above at the canopy of the forests of the island. This is where the Mist shinobis attending the chuunin exams rest and relax in between the stages. Wildlife is abundant here, with many exotic plants and animals to be seen. There are no ladders leading up to the tree houses, one must be able to perform the tree walking technique in order to reach the high treehouses and it takes a single post of at least 6 sentences to get from the ground floor to the treehouse.

Kanzuki emergered from the forest and looked at the treehouses that would be their dwellings during the exams. He let out a sigh, though he had packed lightly it would still be a pain to climb the while having his gear. But he was determined to get up there no matter the effort. He started his accendent by find a nice footing on a low branch. He then began the long process of climbing. It strained his muscles, but due it his training he was able to rattle if off as it were nothing. He climbing picked up speed as he got used to the conditions, and soon he was breezeing though the climb at lightning speed. He simply put his whole mind process into climbing and jumping from branch to branch and in no time at all he could see the platforms of the house. He doubled his climbing speed, he wanted nothing more then to put his gear up now and relax. Finally with one powerful jump from a nearby branch, he landed on the platform perfectly. "That could have been awhole lot easier if LT-Sensei had taught us water-walking or something related." he groaned as he found a comfy room. He then proceeded to set his gear down and have a nap while he waited for Yama to arrive.

 Upon arriving at the mist housing complex, Yamatano was confounded to find that their housing was in an incredibly tall tree. From the many nicks in the bark it looked like Kanzuki had climbed the tree, but Yamatano was different. He did not possess the raw strength required to lift himself from branch to branch, while kanzuki had trained for power rather than speed. He could take his knives and use his white chakra enhancement, but Yamatano had a much better idea, something he had been meaning to do since his training with Manda. Taking out one knife, Yamatano made a small cut in his left thumb, then wiped the blood over his summoning tattoo, the black mark on his left shoulder that showed the Kanji for "Snake". Slamming his palm on the ground, Yamatano cried "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" From the smoke rose a great snake, a Kyodaija, with Yamatano standing upon it's head. To anyone in another housing, the would be able to see nothing but the silouette of the snake in the setting sun and feel the earth tremor from where it was summoned. Now level with the treetop houses, Yamatano stepped off the snake's head and into the housing. "Thank you, friend." Yamatano said before dispelling the snake, and turing to face a very suprised looking Kanzuki. (Summoning specialist takes 1 rank off summoning chakra cost, Kyodaija is an A rank summon, so B rank chakra cost, or 7 points. And yes, I CAN do that. Kanzuki's shocked face quickly changed back to his normal look, that of content and what some might call apathy. He looked over to Yama, " So think we should train some, we need to be on our toes and in top shape if we are going to walk away Chunnin." he states as he took his katana out of his bag and put in on his sash.

Yamatano turned to regard his teammate, suprised that he of all people suggested training. "Well yes, that might be a good idea, especially if were going to work as a team. You never did learn the ninjutsu the Mizukage was going to teach, did you? But you have that sword style, so what if you went in as the frontal assault, and I stay behind and hit them with jutsu?" Yamatano asked, thinking himself quite clever for coming up with that. It was true that Yamatano did not have much training in the way of taijutsu, but ever since his training in the Caverns of Hebi his ninjutsu skills had increased dramatically. Suddenly, without warning, a small 18 inch snake fell out of Yamatano's backpack, gasping for air. The snake was purple, with small black rings, and horn like things juttung out the back of his head. He looked like a miniature Manda, which was to be expected of Manda's son. "KURO?!? What the heck, why are you here?!? I didnt summon you!" "Well, thats the thing, I stowed away with you, but when you summo-" "Stowed away!?! Manda will kill me!" "Who said he has to know?!?" The little snake argued, oblivious of kanzuki sitting right there.

 Kanzuki nodded at the plan, it's logic and tactical approach sounded good for him, " Alright, sounds like a plan and..." he quickly got off base however when he saw the snake, " The hell is that..." he muttered partly to himself and partly to Yamatano, the little snake seemed like the annoying loudmouth type to him.

Yamatano turned to regard the voice of Kanzuki, eager to get away from the fuming Yamatano. "Yo! What's up? I'm Kuro, and I'm a talking snake. I know most animals dont talk, but I'm different. I'm also different cause I can get summoned by Yamatano over here, but I just stowed away in his backpack. So anyway, whats your name?" The little snake said, while Yamatano continued to yell at him.

Kanzuki was starting to wondering if the captain had slipped anything in their food, knowing the old man it was a high probability, but he turned to acknowledge the talking snake. " I'm Kanzuki Ozen, nice to meet you." he said with a bow and respect whenever he met someone new. He then turned to face Yama, " Anyway we should train, got any suggestions?" he asked.

Yamatano thought for a moment, then turned to Kanzuki. "Yes, we should train.......by observance. How about we go to the main area of the exams where all the shinobi linger, I'm sure we'll see someone from another village. We could find out about participants, the village itself, and heck, maybe we'd make some new friends and an allied village." Yamatano said as he scooped up Kuro and placed him on his shoulder. Kanzuki thought for a moment, the plain was logically and tacticly sound, not only would they get the chance to observe their foes, they may even find weaknessess in the enemy. The part about friends and allies, if there was someone there who could command his respect, then it wouldn't be a bad thing. " Sounds like a good idea, but we need to keep our own strengths and weaknessess hidden, make sure Kuro doesn't come out, he could reveal that your a summoner early on, other then that, lets head out." he stated as he hopped from the edge of a railing and landed with abit of a thud on the ground, but the landing didn't faze him as he walked off to the main area. (exit to Main Area)

Yamatano followed Kanzuki to the market place, placing Kuro in his pocket, much to Kuro's outrage. He truly hoped that he could meet some more chuunin hopefuls, maybe even a kage from another village. But to be realistic, he kept his sights on othe chuunin hopefuls.

Arriving at the treetops with neither Kanzuki nor the ANBU in sight, Yamatano leaned back against the tree, thinking about his conversation with Zin. If he told Zin about the contract with the snakes, what would happen? Would Zin try to gain the contact? Would he become violent, in which case Yamatano may have to kill him? "Aaugh, this is driving me nuts." Yamatano remarked to no one in particular. But Kuro, who was on his shoulder, took this as his cue to speak. "Yamatano, dont trust him. He looks and smells the pale one." he said. "...........I see. So it's true. His father IS Orochimaru."

 Kanzuki walked in right as Yama spoke his thought of Orochimaru, " Orochimaru never had any kids though, it's common knowledge that Sasuke Uchiha killed he before he got the change to have any....I doubt any woman would have wanted to have ended up with him anyway though, atleast not a sane one. " Kanzuki spoke his thoughts as he walked up next to Yama and leaned against a branch.

Yamatano looked to his friend who had just escaped a fight with a sound ninja. "Never discount anything when it comes to one of the great Saanin. What about you? How did you end up in a swordfight with an ANBU? Or was it like we thought, she might not be an ANBU?" Yamatano remarked, waiting for the ANBU to come back.

"She wasn't an Anbu, she was too slow and not nearly powerful enough to be one, so it leaves me to wonder why she needed to pretend to be one, and if I'm not mistaken she was formaly from the Leaf Village before she went Missing Nin and now she's in Sound... odd that something is up with the Sound Village and I am to find out what." He stated to his friend, he had jacked the remaining taiyaki and was now finishing it off.
