Ben vidos irmáns: Welcome Brothers The Caledonia Tribe is highly spiritual, and deeply connected to their Deity, only referred to as ‘The Maker’. All foxes are taught to view the world in three distinct and separate levels: the physical, the spiritual, and the symbolic. All intertwined and fundamental, it is through these levels that one can truly understand existence and it’s cyclic nature. Everything is inner connected, nothing is separate.
In the tribe families are not of the conventional sense. There is not just parent and kit. A kit growing up in the tribe will have many mothers and fathers as the entire tribe is a one giant tight knit family. There are times where one kit will be raised by four or five different adults, maybe not even by their biological parent. Everyone member is deeply connected to one another, not just spiritually but mentally and physically. Having gone through basic training (history, light combat training, defensive tactics) together a bond of brotherhood forms that is impenetrable.
Most, though not all, members join one of the Orders as a kit. It is harder but not impossible for an adult to enter into an Order. As kits, they are schooled on the teachings of the specific order. Class begins at dawn and does not finish until dusk. Kits are expected to behave and listen to their instructor without complaint or a discipline with be issued. Though of course the instructors realize they are only children and allot time for play and relaxation. The time for play lessens over time however, as the kit matures.
Each fox, upon reaching the age of adulthood, goes through an event called ‘The Trials’. This is their final test before officially becoming a member of an Order. They must face off against the head of The Order in whatever kind of test that fox dictates, and it does vary occasionally.
BCRs are never accepted into an order, they are to be at home with their parents until they become kits.
Any adult that wants to join an Order will be tested by the Head, and then it is left up for them to decide. Though any fox can appeal to the Seer if they are turned down.

Seeking refuge from persecution and injustice, Vortigern took his mate and small son Altair and came upon some old ruins. When he did for some reason that place seemed to be sacred to him. He couldn't explain it at first. This intense wave of security washed over him, shielding him from his self-doubt. Setting his young mate and son up in the long ago abandoned ruins, he turned to go into the forest and hunt for them. That is where he first came in contact with The Maker. The Maker had seen a great leader in him... a leader that could protect these lads from invaders... He explained that he had called to him, drawn him toward the ruin where he could finally raise his son in peace.
The Maker told Vortigern he would grant him and his people protection and refuge from the dangers of the wilderness and his enemies if they promised to worship him and dedicate there lives to learning the knowledge he had to offer them. Vortigern passed this information on to his family. His mate was skeptic but she agreed to the terms in the end. She believed in her mate, and soon she discovered the gifts The Maker offered were genuine. Structured upon a hill, and surrounded by forestry on all sides his family greatly prospered. Beginning as a limited tribe, the opportunity to restart motivated Vortigern to venture out and seek more foxes that needed safeguarding.
The Maker gave Vortigern all the knowledge needed to bring the tribe back to life once again becoming the first Seer.
With Vortigern as tribe leader, thereafter named Seer, regulations were set forth for all tribe members. 1: Even though being a self made tribe, they would never turn away a stranger in peril. Everyone was welcome as long as they posed no threat to the tribe or their way of life. 2: All foxes must offer up at least one of their children to one of the Orders for the good of the tribe. And 3: All foxes will pledge their life and love to ‘The Maker’ and no one else.
When Vortigern died from an illness, his son Altair took over as the next Seer of the clan. Much like his father, a fair and just leader, the first true new members joined the clan. Having accidentally stumbling upon a young kit in the forest, he took the boy in as his own son. Drake was a spirited youth, and often ran off into the Azul Forest, which led them to find the beautiful Farah and her adopted son Flynn. Soon after meeting, Altair discovered that the two required shelter and offered them the safety of his tribe until they found their feet. However after staying for several months, Farah and Flynn no longer wanted to be anywhere else.
Young Flynn and Drake joined into the Order of the Rogues, while Farah, having skill for magic already, became the Head Mage and devoted follower of The Maker.

The religions of the Caledonia Tribe understood that there is a direct continuity between the physical world and the otherworld, spiritual world. Caledonia teachings, which have come down from ‘The Maker, himself, recognized that there is an unseen world that interpenetrates and affects the visible world. Things are just not what they seem. Everything exists on several simultaneous levels. Modifoxes can understand things as having three levels: the physical, the spiritual, and the symbolic. Thus, the Caledonian culture is integrated with nature, and expressed itself through the multiple possibilities of life itself. ‘The Maker’ is the creator of all life on earth, both mother and father to modifoxes. He is benevolent and generous to all his children, and have bestowed the gift of his ‘word’ to the Caledonians. As such this is easy for any fox to remember if they remember this primary guideline:"Nothing is true, everything is permitted."~ This means that nothing anyone says about how we should be or should act is true, and that everything we could ever think of doing within the realm of actual possibility is permitted to happen. There are also three tenets that the maker has set forth for the Brotherhood no member should brake: Do not harm any fox with out cause~ Caledonia is a tribe of pice. Harming a fox with out cause goes against the Brotherhood Always be discreet~ Be unseen. If you must go out Let the forest mask you such that you become one with nature Never compromise the Brotherhood~ The actions of one must never bring harm to all.

Seer (Elder): The conduit to ‘The Maker’. The leader of the tribe.
Ranger (hunter): This modifox has a delicate mixture of hunting skills and the ability to track. A lethal predator with the knowledge and skill-factor to bring down his/her enemies. They are expert trackers, being able to read the signs of the forest in order to locate anything they desire, locations or people.
Mage (Shaman): Masters of magic and devote followers of the deity.
Priestess (Carer): Only female foxes can join this Order. The ‘Healing touch’, a skill passed down from ‘The Maker’ himself, is entwined into the female line passed only from mother to daughter. It is their responsibility to care for and heal the sick and wounded. Also it sometimes falls to them to take care of BCRs and kits, whether from a crisis or if simply other adult are too busy with their duties.
Rogue (Scout): Foxes with the ability to blend into their surroundings, seemingly disappearing. Mainly used for reconnaissance. Stealth is key, and kits are trained from a young age in order to acquire the necessary skills.
Paladin: Warriors for ‘The Maker’. It is their job to protect the Seer. Occasionally they are also sent out to collect food with the Rangers. And another responsibility is to guard the castle walls.
Scholar: The historians, keepers of knowledge. Story tellers who have all the history and wisdom from the generations past memorized so they can recite it to the young or whoever requires it.

It shows who is mated to who and even though is says some are relate to others by being brother and sister that isn't necessarily true. The whole tribe is basically one huge family and consider everyone ether a brother or sister, so those who are not actually related to any fox in the tribe I put as brother or sister to Farah or Altair since they are like the leaders of the tribe. For example, I have Chamomile under Farah as a sister even though they are not actually related, and I have Flynn under Altair as a brother even though they are not related. You can look through their Bio section to see if they are actually related to a fox with in the tribe or not. I Just wanted some kind of tree stating who is mated to who with kids and all so I didn't have to type it all up cause I lazy XD Caledonia Tribe Tree
Inactive members: [These are members that have not posted with in a month and there foxes are now frozen until they post again.] Chamomile Tokala

Celebrations will be held at the end of every month. Depending on the holiday it lands on, many different activities will be generated with prizes and fun to be had. Also, there will be a special event (when the Elder deems) where members will be allowed to challenge Head positions. (This is preliminary. Give us your opinion. If enough people do/do not like the idea we will either accept idea or reject)
