Who would you pick?
Give the band name and your reason for choosing them

My choice would be Dir en Grey
Can't understand a single word they say
but they mix it up so much and bring something new to the table with every album so I can never get bored of them.

Lostprophets
(No surprise)

On the basis that last time I tried not listening to them I got about 3 days and had a breakdown.
They get me through everything. Any time I feel down or alone or angry I can guarantee they'll make me feel better. Plus they've got songs that suit all my moods so yey Prophets :3

Easy. King Crimson.

One of the most varied and artistic bands of its kind, and even to this very DAY the works put down forty years ago can't be outdone.

I'm thinking Hangry and Angry (they're more like a duet than a band)
or Dragon Force.
This is becasue I love most of Hangry and Angry's music and they're a japanese band so I cant understand it but I try and figure it out and that keeps me not so bored. Dragon Force becasue I love the beats to all of their songs even if I cant understand some of the vocals(they're kinda screamo).

Yeah. they had a bit of down time but they released a new album back in January. It got a lot of press over here in the UK but I don't know how much is happening in other countries cause they're not that big on the international scale

Good choice :]
It's a shame they never got more popular
They were pretty talented

@streets of nowhere: Even if they were I'd have no idea,
I don't pay attention to pop culture anymore ><
I find all my music through the internet

They were more than just 'pretty talented,' my friend. They set the bar for Progressive Music. Actually, they WERE the bar. And still are. They're one of the most important Progressive bands of the 20th Century, one that single-handedly put the artform on the map and fueled its inspiration.

Hm, I would say either Skillet or Jeremy Camp. 3nodding

But, if I were to choose between the two...

...

Hm...

Maybe Jeremy Camp, but it depends on my mood. xp

Hmm, this is a toughie, I'd have to choose either Madonna or Lady GaGa. Both of them have so many different sounds to their music, both are extremely amazing and neither of them have done a song that I don't like.
