In silence as the sun sets over the horizon a gathering of darkness covers the city. The streetlights and the illumination of the buildings grows dull and distant. An unnatural fear of being caught outside creeps over the lowliest thug. Near the shops and businesses it happened, growing into the sky with a roar of wind and a whisper of horrors never seen before in this land. A tower of immense proportions, large winged creature circling the very top. The door remained open, welcoming anyone brave enough to enter. A warning hastily etched into the stone of the tower beside the door reads. You have till sunrise to reach it, good luck.
This guild is boringly dead so I will liven it up a bit. First five to post there stats are in. The doors will close behind them.
Goodbye patience... Now I'm limiting it till (5-14-10) If you want to join after that tough nuggets.
Last Spot, were sitting at 4/5.

While on one of his nightly walks, seeking enlightenment, or hoping to find the last item he needed to complete his Staff of Summoning, Lazerous reaches the edge of town. His eyes take in the sight, observing for the umpteenth time the landscape. His sight is drawn to the tower that seams to have sprung up instantly. "Well that's unusual. And yet, the adventurer in me can not resist to look into that spooky spire. I hope I'm not the only one that wanders in."

Organization: The Crypt
On the balcony in the lavish room atop the Miyr city clock tower, Mitzka sat playing her violin. It was a mournful, eerie tune, as she so often played. However, the music stopped as the menacing tower loomed into existence over the trade district. The sorrowful sounding violin now rested in the vacant chair. Mitzkak stood atop the protective girder that bordered the balcony. Her hands were cupped above her eyes as she peered into the distance. "Odd...I don't remember that being their." Mitzka then jumped off the balcony, disappearing into the night.
Mitzka reappeared in front the the shadow tower. Her pale blond hair and dark dress were blown about by the unnatural wind that surrounded this place. She read the message etched in stone by the side of the door and ,with a slight smirk, passed through the open doorway. Luck had never been on Mitzka's side, but then, she felt no fear either. Fear was something she left behind when she died.

I'ts too bad I was hoping to get one of the newer guys or a more dedicated healer type. Never the less you can probably start a few days early.))

With a thud the gate slams shut. The very gate itself becoming indistinguishable from the wall surrounding the tower. Inside everything including the sky seemed to be a duller hue. The ground around the tower was littered with fragments of gravestones, the single solitary tree had a noose swinging from its branches. Amongst all this you spy, each other of course, as well as the locked double doors leading inside the tower itself. Scrawled into the stonework of the tower is another odd message.
Take but a moment to look around, look close by a key can be found ground.

Upon passing through the gate, Mitzka found herself in a courtyard littered with tombstones. She looked around at the grey environment, unfazed. It was rather par for the course for her. In fact, it even reminded her a bit of the manor before her brother Kail, with his wife Petra, began to clean up the haunted taint. However, she did pause in front of the forlorn tree with the noose hanging from its branches. A flicker of emotion could be observed behind her cool expression as she was reminded of her own tragic fate at the end of a rope. Perhaps this place was a little too much like home.
Mitzka heard footsteps and knew someone else had entered through the gate. She did not wish to be seen in this slightly vulnerable emotional state, so she masked her emotion with anger. She turned around and, standing before the gallows tree, she glared at the newcomers, not sure who they were yet.

*Firu slowly entered the desicated graveyard, taking the time to scan the area taking note of any outstanding details. As his gaze made it's way twords the tree he noticed Mitzka standing there with a disspleased look on her face. "Oh, I see I was not the only one who gave into the pull of curiosity. What do you make of this place?"*

The anger faded from Mitzka’s face when she saw that it was Firu who had entered the courtyard. She should have expected him. He was the unofficial town guardian. Very little went down in this town without his notice, and this tower wasn’t exactly inconspicuous. The cool expression returned to her face as she addressed Firu. “Your guess would be as good as mine. Though…” She motioned to the riddle etched in stone by the locked double doors to the tower. “It seems someone wants to play a game… and I would wager that the odds are stacked against us.”

Eulalie nearly bumped into Varnis as she kept her gaze on the scattered grave markers. "Oh umm excuse me, I didn't mean to..." She said as she backpedaled away from the other gathered adventurers. "What is this place? How could it be a game?" She sank to the ground and rested her head in her hands.
