History: Anya had a airly typical childhood - for a Weyr born anyways. She grew up n the creche with the other weyr children and somewhere along the way became convinced that her parents were both dragonriders - her father he insists is almost certainly one of the bronze riders. There is no proof of this however and Anya spent most of her childhood trying in vain to either figure out who her father really was or do well enough that one of them would step foreward and claim her as thier own due ot her accomplishments. Of course neither of these things happened and she's mostly given up on this prospect.

She started standing for hatchings as soon as she was old enough and was bitterly dissapointed when she failed to impress that first time. And the second...and so on and so forth. despite the constant dissapontments she still continues to try - unable to fathom not impressing and ageing out.

Description: Anya has an athletic build from spending so much time working in the weyr, her hair is slightly wavy,long and just a touch lighter then something that would be considered black. She has pale skin that never seems to tan no matter how much time she spends outside - and because of this she takes pains to shield herself from the sun as best she can in order to avoid the burns she's more prone to. Her eyes are expressive and often give away her true feelings even if she bothers trying to hide them and shine a deep brown in color.

her features, like her temper are sharper in natures then many other girls and while she is in no manner masculine looking she also lacks the typical softness praised in other girls. Her movements always seem businesslike and brisque, as though she dosen't really have time to bother being graceful or collected.

Personality: No one knows exactly where Anya got her sense of self worth, but its pretty obvious to anyone who meets her that she defintely thinks she' something spechial. Arrogant most would call it and she dosen't bother trying to hide it, Anya thinks nothing of expressing just what she thinks of those she meets - espechially if she thinks she's better then that person. Anya carried a bit of a bias towards those born in the weyr - she's far more likely to treat weyrbred people with respect and kindness. Candidates coming from outside the Weyr however will probably be given the cold shoulder and while this abates slightly if they impress theres none the less a lingering impression that they are lesser then Dragonrider's born and bred in the Weyr.

Anya always finds it amusing when new candidates arrive and enjoys watching them fumble about as they try to adjust to life in the weyr, because it fuels her sense of superiority she'll often offer to help these people along - though she'll do so with such a condescending manner that they are often left wishing she'd just left them alone to begin with. In order to keep up with her sense of self worth Anya spends a ghastly amount of time on her personal apperance, always ensuring she looks her best - or as good as she can before seeing to her daily chores.

And while all of this can certainly make Anya seem like a foul person to be around she is a hard worker, she always pulls her own weight and gets the job done. One can leave Anya to a chore and rest assured that she'll accomplish it in a timely manner. She rarely complains about the chores she's given since she see's it as furthering the Weyr's goals something she finds very important and worth working towards.
