A list.
Stop using the word "tactical" for anything that's black, and has rails, an ergonomic grip, collapsing stock, or uses a military caliber.
Stop calling it modular if it has rails. Or if a few minor parts can be changed easily. Or if major parts can be changed "without tools" in "under a minute", because rezeroing isn't that fast.
The assault weapons ban is gone, we can stop calling things "pre" and "post" ban, and start charging a reasonable price for high-capacity magazines.
Pistons on AR-15's aren't new, stop treating them like it.

I agree with the pre-ban/post-ban part.
Just like gun-banners use generalizing terms to make people think guns are evil, gun manufacturers use generalizing terms to make people think (their) guns are badass. It's just trying to make a sale, and everything from gum companies to car companies do the same thing.

It's just trying to make a sale, and everything from gum companies to car companies do the same thing. but its still pretty annoying
