Chapter Twelve: Two Pieces of the Puzzle
"Do you know what this is?!" Selena barked from her throne in the Moon Guild, clasped in her paws was a stone tablet.
The Gardevoir before her arched a brow.
"...theeeee stone Prophecy I broke my a** getting for you?"
"NO! THIS IS ONLY HALF OF THE PROPHECY! THIS IS ALSO KNOWN AS FAILURE!"
"...also know as, see subsection 'I do not care'."
"USELESS! FINE! I will go get the other half myself." The Umbreon leapt from her seat, storming out of the throne room with her teeth barred.
Alfred watched her go with an arched brow. Huh, damn. So much for keeping them from going at eachothers throats.
Seems he'd need to go with Plan B afterall.

In the Guild of the Sun, Solaris was pacing back and forth in concern. He had just discovered the tablet missing and was pondering his next move.
Certainly he couldnt attack the Moon Guild and retrieve it. There had to be another way to reclaim the Prophecy without risking the lives of his guild members.
What to do...

Solaris---Glacia---Ami---Xavier
Solaris struck the bell with a growl. Selena had gone too far this time with her schemes. To think she had actually broke into the guild and stole from him!
The nerve of her!
Ami stood next to her mother and watched as her father paced back and forth again, spouting out every foul word he knew.
Standing behind the two female, Xavier waited patiently for the other mercenaries to show up.
His cursing was cut short as the guild doors suddenly flew open and the Umbreon herself was standing on the fallen structures.
Did she have to break the doors everytime she showed up?
"Solaris! Give me the other half of the Prophecy! NOW!"
Other half? What other half?
The Espeon stood, dumbfounded at the raging dark type, but could find no words.
   
Anthony---Shiro---Fire---Volkner
With Shiro in the lead, a small group of Pokemon rushed in at the sound of the alarm.
Anthony hung near the Floatzel with a frown, his hat tipped down over his eyes.
Not this nonsense again.
Behind the Smeargle, Fire was prancing along with her singsong voice calling out battle songs and the like.
Tagging along at the end Volkner hesitantly entered, eyes wandering around for his partner.
    
Selena---Spira---Alfred---Romeo---Kujo
With her team standing behind her the Umbreon waited. She would give Solaris a moment to gather his thoughts and if the answer he gave was not the one she wanted. She'd tear him and his guild apart.
Kujo cackled lightly from just behindher right flank, Romeo clinging close to the older Pokemon.
The tiny Poochyena starred with wide eyes at the guild before him.
Were they really going to attack such strong looking Pokemon?
"This day has been rubbish." Alfred commented, cigar tilting downward. He was ready though, to go on with the plan the second Selena gave the word.
How hard could it be to find another stone tablet in this guild when you were a psychic type?
At the Gardevoir's words Spira nodded and then cracked her knuckles threateningly. Bah, this was annoying.

  Mitch & Cadarl Mitch stirred with a start as an alarmed sounded throughout the guild. He stood at attention, having fallen asleep in some random corner of the guild.
Cadarl watched him; he didn't really need sleep. He was a ghost.
"It's about time..." he grumbled, and then they both scrambled off towards the alarm.
...
They both arrived to see two groups of rather strong-looking pokemon. Mitch didn't really care about that detail, however.
"What's going on?" the Chimchar asked, standing at his full height (at the most a whopping two feet) and at attention.
Cadarl just sighed lightly. It was probably something ridiculous, he presumed.

  Zori & KaiZori was racing as quickly as she could, with Kai hot on her heels. The pair skidded to a stop as they caught sight of the huge amount of Pokemon around them. Zori flattened her ears, hearing the menace in the Umbreon's voice. Selena. Most definitely the Guildmaster's sister. Kai caught on rather quickly, although he didn't know any of the Pokemon there. Both weaved themselves in among the ranks of the other Pokemon, standing just next to Xavier. SukiSuki practically soared in, her crimson eyes blazing with alarm. She'd heard the crash of the door being broken down, and had gone tearing out of the Courtyard. She spotted a rather bad-tempered-looking Shuppet, and hovered just next to him, watching the Moon Guild members with a guarded expression.

  Leon---&--- LucyLucy arrived soon after Xavier.
Not a second later, Leon arrived via Teleportation.
"Not these goons again..." The Lucario groaned when he saw the Moon Guilders.
"Look like they're looking for another clobbering!" Lucy shouted as she cracked the knuckles of her claws.
She was itching for a fight.    Flavio---&--- Tito---&--- Tommy---&--- ViraWith a small flash, Flavio the Ralts appeared behind Ami, hiding a little.
"I-I'm not good at fighting..." He explained softly.
Tommy from Team Gravity trotted in, a very depressed Sneasel riding on his back.
"Come on, Tito... Things are gonna be all right..." The Delcatty said, trying to comfort the Sneasel.
"Shut up. Let's just get this over with..." Tito replied with a sad sigh.
Vira also returned to the fighting scene, having recovered from her recent bit with asthma.   Orson---&--- Spike---&--- Leslie"BWAAAAAHAHAHAAAAA! Time to crush the leetle babies!" Orson cackled from behind Selena.
He pointed to Vira, the Weavile he loved to ******** with.
"You first!"
Leslie looked around, despising what he saw.
"Looks like you pathetic wimps got even weaker after I left!" He hissed to the Sun Guilders.
Spike was in the back of the group, carrying something heavy over his shoulder.
Whatever he was holding was covered with a large tarp.
"If this doesn't make Selena realize I'm alive, nothing will..." He whispered to himself.

Ally + Christian + Vene
Ally ran into the room with Vene floating above her. "Ve, what's going on?" he asked the Espeon below him. She glared at him in a certain way that clearly meant 'Shut the hell up' before scanning to foreign Pokemon. She was busy trying to pick out the weakest looking ones, when Vene was knocked out of the air and pounced on. "'Sup, Venny-boy?" Christian said with a smile, holding down Vene's wings while the poor Butterfree tried to struggle free. Ally gave Christian a good push, freeing Vene, who immediately soared up out of the Mightyena's reach. "Get serious, Christian," Ally hissed. The three teammates then turned to face the intruders, ready to fight.

Sakura
Sakura toddled in with the other Moon Guilders, trying to look intimidating but failing badly. The little weeaboo Skitty was a terrible fighter but was going to try her hardest to defeat the evil Sun Guild! "Sakura-chan is excited, desu~!" she said happily, hopping up and down, to the annoyance of everyone around her. Then she looked over at the Pokemon behind Solaris and hissed, her fur standing on end. They were going down!

An odd Manectric entered, following the Mightyena Christian closely. "Christiaaaaan..." he whined, looking at the Moon Guild. Whoa, their group was big and looked really strong. It was kinda scary and he would sure be sticking close to his (arguably) stronger friend for their visit's duration. He didn't end up noticing the Mightyena bothering Vene, though, because he was busy scoping out the Moon Guilders. Hopefully he wouldn't have to fight a tough one, he didn't think he was up for that.

Acertus x〤x Saesia x〤x Nané
"What is that sound?" Nané looked up from studying her book to see Acertus already in action. She put it down on her bed and began to copy what he was doing, packing supplies and food into the pack that she was told was for mission use.
Acertus didn't even pause for a second as he answered, "The guild bell. That the guild leader rang it means something's happened. Saesia will know what to do, so we'll meet her in the guild."
Still confused, and a little worried now, Nané just nodded and followed him out of their team room. She could see several other teams also heading in the same direction, all with the same grim face on. As they reached the place where the guild leader was standing, Nané could see Saesia among the throng of Pokemon.
The last member of their team slithered over upon noticing them. "About time."
"Has he said anything yet?" Acertus asked anxiously, leading them closer towards the crowd. Saesia's shake of the head was only a mild relief to him, as the guild leader wouldn't ring the bell if the situation wasn't urgent or dire. He didn't like either implication. He nearly choked when he saw the black Umbreon standing opposite the guild leader. The odds could not be in their favour if that was the one they were fighting against. Still... He stood his ground, mentally going through all the enemies' types and their weaknesses.

Solaris barred his teeth at his sister.
"I have no clue what you are talking about, but I do know you stole my half of the Prophecy! We won that fair and square! Now return it!"
The Espeon began to glow with a bright blue light in his rage.
At her father's angry tone, Ami bristled and let out a few pathetic attempts at growling herself.
Xavier turned to nod at Zori and her Mudkip friend before an orange form appeared next to him.
"Jasper, you are late."
"Fashionably I hope. Anyways, I doubt these Moon guild scumbags will require much effort."
Overhearing him Selena let out a cackle. "I'd think again rodent! SPIKE! Hit it!"
She raised a paw into the air and then brought it down, signallying her guild to attack.
Solaris hissed and rushed out to meet her as she charged.
"TEAR THEM APART!" Came the guild master's enraged cry.
Anthony---Shiro---Fire---Volkner---Arukas
"Bring it on, bitches!" Fire howled, spewing out small Ember attacks at will.
She paused her cheering in time to see Natalia enter and stalked over to slap that drink from the Absol's claws as well.
Arceus, this was not in her job description.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?! DRINKING WHILE WE'RE UNDER ATTACK! WHY I OUGHTA-"
Next to her Arukas stood shaking violently, he was not a fighter.
"I am scared, desu! I dont want to- OH-EM-GEE! SAKURA-CHANNN!" The purple Skitty bounded forward at the sight of the similar pink Skitty. His sister! Kyaaaa!
Anthony suddenly appeared next to Tommy at the same time Shiro moved to Vira's side.
"Dont extert yourself." The Floatzel muttered softly, eyes narrowed ahead.
Volkner stuck nearby Flint, who was taller and could see much better than he could.
The Shinx was not inclined to rushing out just yet.
Selena---Spira---Alfred---Romeo---Kujo
At Selena's signal, Spira was the first to step forward.
"If your going to find that tablet, Al. I'd start now."
"On it." The Gardevoir called and in seconds he was racing forward, in the guise of a black and white Furret.
Priority was to find that other half of the Prophecy and get out before too much blood was shed.
Oh, Arceus he needed another job.
Xavier bristled when he saw this and took up pursuit.
"No you dont, Gardevoir! Your not getting away from me this time!"
"HEH HEH! Lets lay, puppies! Lets play!" Kujo let out a screaming howl and swung forward with his claws towards another Mightyena and his Manectric friend.
Romeo of course hung back, shaking in terror.

Mitch & Cadarl Mitch, though not necessarily up-to-date on what was happening, lunged forward into the thrall of battle.
Cadarl, though unwilling to do so, followed his leader.
A few of the attacks that were thrown around missed Cadarl, luckily; good thing he was impervious to normal type attacks.
With that in mind, he and Mitch approached the Lucario that had so eagerly rushed into battle.
"I challenge you, sir-- lady?!" Mitch yipped, his voice jumping an octave. He hadn't expected a woman! How could he fight her, oh what was he to do...
Mitch, from instinct, began wildly scratching at Spira to avoid being inflicted with her womanly charms.
Cadarl just sighed lightly. His Leader had a fairly ridiculous fear. He Screeched at Spira in attempts to lower her defenses to appoint where the two might actually have a chance.

Zori & Suki & KaiZori snarled fiercely, her golden eyes glinting with determination and anger. "You play by our rules now, pup!" She growled, charging at the flanks of the masked Mightyena with a Quick Attack in hopes to know him of course from their fellow Guild members. Suki followed suit, shooting a Shadow Ball toward the hostile Lucario, joining ranks with a Chimchar and the Shuppet. "Taste shadow, you psychotic b****!" The Misdreavus screeched. Kai let loose a powerful Hydro Pump, hoping to hit one of the enemies.

Orson---&--- Spike---&--- Leslie"You got it! Say hello to my little friend!" Spike shouted, throwing the tarp off of what he was carrying.
He revealed a large mechanical gun, fully charged and ready.
"Eat this!" He shouted, sending a blast out that covered the entire fighting plain.
It only affected a certain type of Pokemon, though.
"Keep eye on de' birdy!" Orson shouted as he lunged at Vira with a Slash attack.
Leslie set his sights on a Raichu, whom he knew to be Jazz's father.
"Time to take down another one!" He shouted, charging at Jasper and leaping at him, hoping to catch the Raichu in a Bite attack. Leon---&--- Lucy"Back to back!" Lucy shouted.
Leon nodded and stood at Lucy's back.
They both stood ready for any attack. Flavio---&--- Tito---&--- Tommy---&--- ViraFlavio let out a meep and hid behind Ami, hoping to not get mixed up in the scary fighting.
Tito looked at Anthony and frowned.
"You have the hots for him?" He asked, not impressed by the Smeargle.
Tommy's face went bright red and he turned away.
"Sh-Shut up, brat!" He hissed.
Vira smirked at Shiro.
"Don't worry, I can han-AH!" She shouted, narrowly sidestepping Orson's attack. ALL BUG TYPE POKEMON ARE PARALYZED FOR THIS ROUND OF POSTING

Ally + Christian + Vene
Christian growled at the... er... Mightyena? "'Kay, mask-face! You're goin' down!" he yelled with a grin. He rushed towards the assumed-to-be-but-might-not-actually-be Mightyena, planning to hit it with Take Down.
Meanwhile, Ally was being a bully. She walked up to a small pink Skitty with a devilish grin. "Here Kitty~" she cooed, slowly creeping up to her. She then swiped her claws at Sakura with Shadow Claw.
The entire time, Vene floated in the back of the room, waving what seemed to be a makeshift white flag. A napkin tied to pen. "Don't hurt me~!" he whined, waving his flag towards any nearby enemies.
