I'm starting this topic to show some of my work and my daughter (she just got started with drawing and is eight years old now). I told her if she wanted to keep practicing, I'd put her stuff here, too. I'll kick it off with my eye and her face. I'm still working on the eye... just not sure if I should do more upper lid shadow or not and what color.  Edited by: Pandiecakes for Pagestretch

Oh, I love the color and detail you put in the iris, it's quite stunning. And the lashes are absolutely perfect in length and shape, it gives off such a dramatic effect. The only thing I can find to comment on is the lack of shine. Most eyes have this almost natural shine to them, reflecting the light or what they're looking at into them.  What a cute drawing from your daughter, I can see her growing up and being a great artist, just like her mommy. 3nodding

Thank you! Yeah, shine is hard to get with colored pencils... you pretty much have to just not color some parts, to give shine. She's very excited that you commented on hers. It kind of looks like an anime drawing or something, to me... you know, that style.

eee don't start with anime, ckrella. you'll be so grateful. crying that face is awesome actually. the eyes are cute. :V lips are a little lopsided though hur hur
the eye could use some more contrast i think. :>
