The way see it working is that some idiot put three or more types of fish with differing levels of agressiveness.

If you know anything about tank society, you should know if you don't put compatible species of fish together, you'll have genocide. You have to make sure your fish species get along, or else you won't have to worry about food for a while. I'm being dead serious. I'm not saying fish are territorial, but the more aggressive a fish species is, the more likely it'll be the tank occupier.

Of course many species get along with other species quite well. I think that's beta fish, if I'm not wrong.

I don't know too much about fish but I do know that beta fish are super aggressive and should only be alone in their tank or they will kill the other fish. Actually, a beta fish will try to fight its own reflection if it sees it.
