Shino: *Has managed to climb to a decent height in a tree and is now relaxing on a tree*

Evan: *wanders into the clearing*

Shino: *Smirks upon catching sight of her young friend* Hey! Evan!

Evan: *looks up* Hey Shino! biggrin *waves and wanders over* What's up?

Shino: *Grins* Right now? Me!

Evan: *laughs* True, true. Nice view up there? *tempted to scale the tree himself*

Shino: *Shrugs* Nothing special *Works her way to the tree trunk and hitches her claws in the bark to lift herself and then drop to a branch below. Repeats the process until she reaches the branch closes to the ground* How have you been?

Evan: Pretty good, you?

Shino: I'm good *Leaps down with cat like grace to settle beside her friend* Thinking of going to visit my brother some time in the near future

Evan: Sounds like a good idea. 3nodding It's good to keep up with family and know what's going on.

Shino; Yeah *Flicks her tail* Been on any adventures lately?

Evan: I'm still looking for interesting places to explore. Seems like a lot of caves and other places are homes for namrah. I found something weird on the beach though, I'm not really sure what it is. *holds up a small shard of seaglass*

Shino: Oh hey *Smiles* You found yourself some seaglass!

Evan: Seaglass? *looks at it curiously* Ah, so it's glass? *wonders if its natural or if actual glass fell in the ocean and was worn away by the tides*

Shino: Yeah. See when glass ends up in moving water, like the ocean or rivers, it'll get dulled and worn down by the moving waters and by being dragged along the water bed. *Gestures* Making seaglass

Evan: Ah, neat. 3nodding So I guess clear would be the most common color. *wonders what the rarest color is*

Shino: Clear and brown, I think *Looks towards the beach* Used to find those two colors a lot when I went out to walk the beach with my daddi

Evan: Dad took me to the beach once. I found a few seashells when I was there, though it was too cold to go swimming.

Shino: My parents actually live on the beach *cocks her head* If you want, I could take you their next time we bump in to each other

Evan: Sure, I wouldn't mind that.

Shino: Got to get the okay from your dad first, alright?

Evan: *hadn't really thought of permission, but nods* Alright, I'll make sure he's okay with it.

Shino: Good *Smirks and lifts a paw to ruffle his hair/head fur*

Evan: *blinks, but doesn't stop the action* So what was it like living on the beach?

Shino: Fun, though it was to cold to go swimming. It was nice to go out and race through the sand, or just sit on the back patio and watch the water

Evan: The beach smells pretty nice too, though I guess it'd be easy to get used to that.

Shino: Smell? ... Oh yeah, the sea salt! *Chuckles* I stopped noticing a while ago...

Shino: Yeah. That's the way things works

Evan: I think it's so we can notice new smells.

Shino: So the mind doesn't go into overload from trying to sort out the new and the old?

Evan: Well, I was thinking more like a survival thing. If there's a new smell then it might be something important.

Shino: Never thought of it that way... *Smirks and leans over to give Evan a friendly nudge* You've got quite the brain, though that's no surprise

Evan: *smiles* Thanks. ^^

Shino: *Can't resist, hugs the teen* You're always so cute!

Evan: *blinks again, more from the comment than the hug, and hugs back* Thanks. ^^

Shino: *Rests her head on top of his, content to hug her little friend* I used to hug you all the time when you were an egg

Evan: *smiles* I think I remember that a little. Dad said I liked to be held even as an egg 3nodding

Shino: You can remember stuff from as an egg? That's kind of neat

Evan: Just little things here and there, I don't remember everything. *nods* Still pretty neat though.

Shino: Only thing I could remember from my egg days was that sound of my parents' voices

Evan: *thinks* I remember my dad's voice, and yours. Not too many others though.

Shino: *Ears perk in intrigue* Really? You remembered mine?

Evan: *nods* Yep. 3nodding

Shino: Huh, that's pretty awesome actually

Evan: *nods* It is. biggrin
