I'm pretty sure all any of us who spend so much effort and time in this guild want is for this guild to reach bigger heights!
For it to grow we need to know what we're doing right and what we're doing wrong.
Let us know your favorite part about HPGoG (and why).
(use the poll for this!). Please post your general "likes" about the guild!
Also, let us know what's your least favorite part about HPGoG (and why).
Even if you like everything at HPGoG, let us know something you like a little bit less than the others...if that makes sense

My favorite part about the HPGoG is the Classes and Role-playing. I love the classrooms because, I love teaching Astronomy and other subjects taught in the books, based on what J.K. came up with. Astronomy is one of my favorite subjects in real life so, I think it only applies to this guild as well. As for Role-playing, I never really used to do it much before when I was a Student but, now that I've come back to the guild, I have really gotten into r-p. Especially, on the Hogwarts Express.
As for things I don't like about HPGoG, I honestly don't know if there is anything. However, I do have something I would like to talk about with you. I sent it to you in a pm about a suggestion. (It's something that has to do with the HM)

My fave would be the roleplaying and the people here. Everyone's so nice and awesome. And of course, the roleplaying thing needs no explanation: I'm just a roleplay person =)
As for things I don't like about HPGoG: this is a toughie. I'll have to go with some of the classes. I hope you understand, one can only go through so much learning.

I like discussion forum best, I like to chat about Harry Potter freely with other fans. I do wish it were more active.
I like roleplaying too but didn't get sorted because I don't have time to keep up w/ it right now so I stick to discussions only for now and read around and about the guild.
I least like the Spinner's End forum, I find it rather boring, sorry. It's a good idea if the "games" were better
Classes and events I'm not really familiar with yet.
I love to meet and get to know other fans

The people in this guild are awesome. I love it.
Some of the discussions are very interesting; I like those.
My favorites are probably the HM, answering questions when I can, and events. The classes, discussions, and RP are awesome too, but I usually don't have enough time to get around to them. I wish I did though. biggrin
I don't really RP much any more, since I'm way too busy. When I try to RP I just get lost very fast since I'm at uni for 10 hours and then the thread moves a few pages (like on the Express). It's still fun to pop in and say hello though. I wish I had more time to stay and RP with everyone from the other houses. It's a lot of fun. Probably what I miss the most that being super busy has taken away.
I've never really been one for Spinner's End, but I'll occasionally take a look and post in one or two games. Most of the games require people to have at least a tiny little bit of creativity, which I don't have.

I choose other because I love Rp, & Classes, Though I am finding it hard because of so little time. Anywho one thing I do not like is that once your no longer a student there is not much left for you to do. I would love to see the family house/ business area open soon. Another thing that is a downer is the lack of activity at times. This guild is better than most I have been in but it does have momments where it stands still, like in between classes, and terms. Also new ways to recruit members and keep them would be great. Like each year pick new prefects, give the prefects the job of watching the halls and common area's (Great Hall, Kitchen, hallways, Stairs, Grounds, Quidditch pitch, and the like.

My favourite part about the guild is probably discussions, games and the classrooms.
I like roleplaying but it's hard for me to keep up with it considering there are always a couple days out of the week that I won't go online at all, and will forget that I may have even posted in a roleplaying area.
Something I wish the guild had more of would probably be more events. Not huge ones all of the time but maybe inbetween the major ones, have a little one that everyone could earn some points through. Whether it be things like a gift exchange, or maybe a thing where we could create our own spells or something along those lines.

I said my favorite part was the events. That's because, in my mind anyway, they combine several parts of the guild. There's games/contests and lots of people around to chat with. So for me, saying events is like saying people, discussions, and maybe even roleplay (if we're talking about a game, not so much a contest) all at once. So, that's my convoluted reasoning explained. Hopefully. wink
As for my least favorite part...I dunno. I might say classes, but that's why I only take one or two classes each term, to avoid too much not-particularly-important work (sorry all professors!) that would interfere with all that stuff that I really have to do.

My favorite part would have to be the Roleplaying and the classes. Plus the fact that most of the people in here are great to get along with.
This guild and the friends i have made from it is the only thing really keeping me with Gaia now!

I have two faves. One is the peoples, they are awesome and very nice and stuff. It makes me feel like glomping them all. The second would classify as "other" and it would be the activeness of this guild. I've looked up other Harry Potter guilds and I was all "whoa these things are dead" and then I look at HPGoG and I'm like "AWESOME, people actually post here!"
And I cannot think of a single thing that I do not like here.

I really like the Hogwarts IDs. They are creative and well-made. I also like the way you have the Sorting Hat. But I'd have to say one of my favorite things is that you have to work your way up to the top from house elf to any position.
