I think that is one of the best Final Fantasy games EVER!!! I loved the story, gameplay and almost everything about it(almost). The only thing I didn't like was the ending and the minigames for powering up the celestial weapons... stare

Well, what do you mean by depressing? As in the story or the game in all?

It's amazing how it can still make you cry even though you learn that what's might happen. Spolier below! Highlight to see: When Tidus starts to fade and Yuna runs through him; that's the bit that makes me start to tear up. That, and the music. crying I was always like, 'No, stupid Fayth! Keep dreaming! Tidus can't go! But then in FFX-2, I got 100% and Tidus came back for good, so yay!

FFX is definately my favorite game of ALL time. The ending though was indeed very sad, until I saw in FFX-2 that he comes back(YAY!!!!!!! rofl 4laugh rofl ).
I know i'm probably gonna get wacked upside the head for saying this, but there is still a part of me that wishes they would make a FFX-3 and use the original FFX gameplay.

...Actually, I didn't really like X. I mean, the gameplay was fine, as well as the characters (Auron and Seymor=squee!) But I didn't really like the game. I just prefer different ones. But then, I'm not much of a romance person.

all of my friends say that I'm a sap becasue I cried at the end of this game. Tehy're always like 'omg Kai your such a sissy. be a man!' but I can't help it! And ESPECIALLY when Yuna runs through Tidus is when I just overflow with tears! And then again when Tidus goes behind Yuna and hugs her even though he cant' really touch her and all that. And then he hi-fives Jecht and that's like their ONLY father-son moment. What? Is that like 'Alright! We're both dead! Hi-five!' like wtf? No.
It's just really sad. But I ADORE the Suteki Da Ne w/ the little Tidus kissing Yuna scene. Realy cute.

Actually, naw, I agree with you. I mean, FFX-2 IMO was a pretty fine game, I actually like it. I know, like FFXII, it gets a lotta bad reviews and haters, etc. But I like it. Anyway, yeah, I totally want to see Tidus and Yuna, in, like, five years time; and I want the original gameplay too. It's like with Tidus = 'original' gameplay. W/o Tidus = 'unoriginal' gameplay. And now that (if you got 100% in FFX-2, which I've still yet to do) Tidus is back, so [not] everything kinda goes back to how it was when Tidus was around before, in FFX.

Going off topic slightly to FFVII, yeah, the first time I saw Aerith's death, I cried. I mean, I actually liked her at first. Trained her up quite high on the first disc, then...*dead* I cried, then I started to get scream because I'd spent all that time training her up, you know? So, everytime I play it now, I only use her when I need to. Otherwise I'd just get scream again.
