Any metal pad, really.

There's no way to COMPLETELY stop it from moving, but my metal pad only moves a few inches or so every couple songs. Much less than a soft mat. gonk

What the hell? The only thing I can see that being useful for is for making a DDR sandwich. :s

put a piece of plyboard or cardboard underneath your pad. that should stop it from moving soo much. at least temporarily until you get a better pad.

The red octrane (if that's how it's spelled) mat is good ^.~ It almost never messes up...

I use a heavy wooden board (smooth), place it underneathe my mat and duct tape it all around the edges. It works like a charm for me. Because I use carpeted floor, it hardly moved, but I don't even notice it. 3nodding heart

The mats that you get in the boxes WITH the game work really well in not moving. They are the matts directly from Konamix (shoot me if I'm wrong) but socks are HIGHLY recommended with these pads otherwise they'll stick to your feet.

The red octrane mat works pretty well. The bottom is non-slip. But the mats will move regardless.

Try using material that creates a lot of friction but low heat underneath the pad

Red Octane = the company that creates the pads.

High Octane = would be a stupid name.

Hm I have an entertainment centre shelf, in which I attached a long plywood board, and added temporary restraints on the pad, in which they were bored in to the board. A little work, yeah, but that pad doesn't move anywhere. Great part is is that all I have remove the restraints and I can transport the pad easy.
