I got to watch the new Doctor Who episodes tonight. I already like the new one, I thought it would be hard to accept the loss of David Tennant.
The new guy reminds me allot of the old doctors from the 70's and 80's. Does anyone else watch Doctor Who here? What do you think?

Definitely! I agree the new doctor is very much like the older ones, especially with losing his temper, like in the episode I saw last night. I do believe his favorite doctor was the 2nd one and that is who he modeled himself after. I still miss David though, while Matt S is a good doctor in his own right, I still prefer David's doctor. Plus, David was more fun to look at.

I pretty much agree with everything you said. xd
I also noted his loss of temper.
I think that this Matt guy has the potential to be one of my most favorite Doctors though, given a couple more episodes.

I do agree that Matt will probably move up to be one of my favorite doctors. I don't think he will ever replace Tennant at the top of my list though but he may become second.

I'm so old school doctor who my first doctor is Peter Davison (5) (we'll ignore the fact he stopped being the doctor before I was born, won't we? xd ).
Every regen is a gamble, so far most of them have payed off smile

I watch it on BBC America. Usually after BBC gets through it, the Sci-Fi channel picks it up later. I don't like to wait. razz

I find that hard to believe, because a lot of the 1st and 2nd doctors stuff (including my favourite episode Web of Fear), is either completely lost, or piecemeal now thanks to the BBC clearing out it's store rooms in the 60's & 70's sad More Info for the Curious If you do have all of them, do tell the BBC, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to pay you for them...& I'll be happy if I can purchase Web of Fear on DVD biggrin

I'm still mad about Rose. The way it happened was really upsetting.

I own a lot of the Tennant episodes and I have quite a few of Tom Baker and Colin Baker. Altogether, I have at least one episode of each. I really don't like the first few doctors that much. But I would love to watch the Rowan Atkinson knock off though.
