They were disproportionately large, all things considered, or the doe had gone very, very small. The curls around her hooves bounced as she panted and lunged from
lily to lily. Who in the world grew waterlilies this large?! The buds and flowers towered above the doe's head, and she did not know where she was headed, but only that she had to get there. She laughed as a tiny frog snapped a fly out of the sky and was immediately covered by a dropped petal. This was fun, she thought!
