They were doing things a bit differently at the moment when it came to parent meetings, they were doing it in this manner because of problems that were being had of late. Not only the replacement of several of the Sins and one Virtue, but because there were so many children that were wanting to learn about themselves. In this group each of them was missing at least one of their DNA parents due to on incident or another.

The Fallen had sent out letters to the children with a side note of where they would be meeting, a gathering on the grounds of the Labs but held outside where it would be warm, sunning, and welcoming. Something that the Labs were not on the inside, everything seemed to be on lock down as Vampy was working hard on a project with the help of his human magician Zyane. It would be easier for them to gather in the yard, he'd even made sure to get snacks and juice for everyone that was gathering today.

Moving away from the blanket that was set up in a picnic manner he leaned against the heavy iron gate to await the spawn that were coming in today so he could let them in.

Dooma had received a letter from the labs informing her of when Vali could go to this Meet One of Your Parents meeting. She had read a strange side note that there might be a problem with Vali meeting his sloth side of his genes. But she had insisted that he should go alone but that she would be waiting just outside of the gate wail Vali went to find out who he was.

Vali walked slowly up to the gate. His manner much more brave than how he was starting to feel as he drew closer to the gate. He could not remember much from his time in here. But he did remember that it had a colder feel than his life with Dooma. But he thought it might be nice to meet one of his real parents. Little did this young spawn know that his sin father had met with a rather interesting fate.

So with the hopes of maybe growing to like his father Vali walked up to the gate his tail held up and his mouth set in a small toothless grin.

Almas smiled as he opened up the door to allow the rather amazing looking child inside along with his parent. He had read the chart on this one but hadn't quite believed the information until now, "Welcome." He said as he opened up the gate, "We are expecting perhaps a few more so we are going to give them a little bit more time to join us."

He hoped that his letters had gotten out to the right people, "Until then feel free to enjoy the cookies and juice and if either of you have any questions I will do my best to answer them." While he'd rather do that for the entire group if only this pair showed up for the meeting then they would get his full attention.

Llujah made a mad dash out of the car as soon as Belinda turned off the ignition. He ran around the vehicle a few times, wings and tail twitching away, as he waited impatiently for his mother. The Eilian stepped calmly out of the seat and smiled at her son before starting to walk towards the looming and ominous building that was the Facility. "C'mon, Llu, sweetie! We're gonna be late if you don't hurry!" Llujah pouted slightly as he ran past his mother. "You're the one not hurrying! Let's go, mama!" The two walked together [one "walking" in an odd sort of skip-hop] to the gates of the building.

While the pair ventured towards the building, Llujah could not help but recall the fleeting time in which he spent at the Lab. He remembered it was not the most pleasant of experiences, but beyond that, his memory faded. Whatever was in store for him, though, he would be ready. The boy stuck his hands in his skirt pockets as he walked along with a smile on his face. He was going to see one of his real parents! Of course, this concept was somewhat hard for the child to grasp, having always thought that the Eilian was his mother. It didn't faze him, though. He would always still love his mother, and he hoped he would grow to love his real parents, too!

Belinda was somewhat... less than ecstatic about visiting the Facility. She had already seen it when she picked up Llu for the first time, and it was important for Llu to learn about his heritage, but the thought of the Lab still sent a small shiver down the senka's spine. She walked steadily alongside her son as they neared the gates, where she caught a glimpse of another pair of people going in with a rather tall, handsome looking man. She smiled at Llu. "Looks like we're on time, hm, sweetheart?"

Llujah looked to his mother and smiled, and he ran up to the gate. It towered over the pair, but Llu ventured on without worry, which was more than could be said for Belinda. After they took a few steps through the gate, the sheep Eilian turned to the handsome man she saw a moment earlier. "Hello. I am Belinda Malikov, and this is my son, Llujah." She motioned to the Greed-Diligence boy, who was bouncing on his toes in his impatience. "We're here for Llu's parent meeting."

Transfer tucked safely into the breast pocket of his vest, Fitzroy entered the grounds of the Facility quite calmly compared to other spawn. He had never seen the place as a collection of malcontent, seeing as the only memories he had were of the skills he had learned and the angels he had met, so when he had seen the letter left for him on the kitchen table by Caspian, the Liberality boy had been excited, if anything.

However, it was only now, as he tried to find this class or whatever of his, that he noticed the part about this parent meeting being 'a little different'. He spent a good time pondering over what that was supposed to mean, a long enough time so when he looked back up, he had happened upon the garden where the class was supposed to be held. Grinning brightly at his luck, he bounded towards the group.

Fitzroy's smile grew even wider when he saw that two of his friends were there. "Llujah! Vali! Dude, yes!" He rushed forward, impulse to hug his two friends only curbed by the presence of the two adults. Turning towards the blonde one, he touched his hat respectfully to whom he assumed was the teacher. "Hello. I'm Fitzroy Cathaldus. This is the fancy group parent meeting whatnot, right?"

Vali looked up at the man talking to him and gave a nod. His hair not moving with the movement. He shook his head though slightly, "Oh Dooma is not going to come with me. She wants me to meet my father on my own so it is not awkward for anyone." He smiled and moved threw the gate.

As he made his way towards the picnic blanket and the promise of goodies. Not that he was hungry right now the thought of a drink to at least give him something to do was good, he hear someone else coming up and he turned to see a spawn he had never seen before. Llujah was unlike anyone he had seen and Vali was rather interested. However now he felt a bit more alone because it seemed Llujah's 'parent' was coming in with him. Though Vali gave a slightly shrug and was about to continue when he hear a familiar voice.

He turned again and his tail have a quick sway of happiness at seeing Fitzroy. And the older spawn was alone! His mouth formed the bright shark like grin and he waved. "Hello Fitz! It is so good to see you again!" he smiled and moved back towards the gate ready to give Fitz a hug and allow Pac-Man a quick nibbling. Maybe this would not be so bad after all!

The three that arrived, all boys from what the files said though one of them was rather pretty one, wasn't he? Seemed that he must get that from his angel side Almas decided since he couldn't exactly see Drake a pretty, handsome perhaps if one liked scaly types.

He waited for the three to come inside before he locked the gate after him. He would let the last boy in were his to arrive late. If not he would send another notice to his parent to see about a meeting at a later time, "Come on over to the picnic area. We have information on your parents, pictures, and I will be able to answer any questions that you might have about them." He said as he knelt down next to the blanket that had various treats spread out on it as well as juice for the spawn to eat and drink at their leisure.

He seemed to think on how to explain for a long moment before looking at the trio, "You see today we aren't able to meet with your actual DNA donors as some of them are no longer with us here at the Labs." He told the spawn.

Llujah's eyes instantly lit up when he saw Fitzroy walk through the gates. He bounded over to him and gave him a large hug like the silvery boy had done and petted Pac-Man happily. "Fitz! It's awesome to see you! I didn't know you'd be coming!" Llu flicked his tail happily and held out his right wrist, on which was the Chain Chomp bracelet that was given to him by Fitzroy a short while back. "I still got my Chain Chomp, see?"

Llujah turned his attention to the silvery boy beside Fitzroy. He seemed to shine like metal and he had... amazing hair. Llu smiled and twirled his dress. "Hi! My name's Llujah! I'm friends with Fitzyroy too!" Llujah felt somewhat relieved. He wasn't scared or apprehensive about meeting his biological parents, but having friends there with him made him feel more relaxed.

The boy ran over to Belinda, who was turning to leave. The Eilian bent down and gave Llu a hug. "Now, you be good, 'kay Llu? Do everything the man tells you to do and don't get into trouble, all right?" Llujah giggled. "'Kay, mama. 'Bye!" Belinda gave her son a light kiss on the green gem in the middle of his forehead and turned to leave. She nodded to the blond man who was closing the gate and left.

Llu got up and walked over to where the man was bidding them and sat down on the blanket, swishing his tail from side to side in his excitement. His eyes gravitated towards the food and he snatched a chocolate-chip granola bar and began munching on it greedily. He stared at the pictures curiously, but what the man said next made Llu look up in surprise. No longer... with them at the Labs? "So... my real mama and papa are... gone?"

Fitzroy laughed happily as the two younger spawn hugged him, and wrapped his strong arms around them in return, a glowing smile on his face. Pac-man gnashed excitedly at the return of Vali, and reached out his tongue to lick the boy's arm gleefully. "Haha, it's good to you see you guys again, too!" He reached out with an arm and ruffled Llujah's hair affectionately, smiling at the Chain Chomp bracelet dangling around the wrist. "Yeah, I see. Nice! And wow, you've gotten a lot bigger since I last met you!"

As the Diligence spawn went to say goodbye to his mother, Fitzroy followed the golden-haired man's lead to the blanket, the food making his mouth water. It smelled so much better than that tripe they served at school. Grabbing an apple and a slice of cherry pie, he swallowed the first practically whole and slipped Pac-man the other, already feeling better.

However, that bubbly feeling quickly sank, even if it was just by a little. His expression reflected Llujah's statement, and he glanced around at the other spawn with him before asking with a surprised voice. "No longer with us...? Wait, does that mean dead?!" he asked sharply with a hitch in his voice. This meeting suddenly wasn't so exciting anymore. Fitzroy looked at the blanket with a wide-eyed expression on his face; somehow, he'd never thought of demons or angels being able to die. Where would they go, after all...? The spawn felt a great deal of pity for his unknown demon donor.

Vali smiled feeling the lick to his skin he lowered his hand for Pac Man's full use as the feminine male introduced himself. Vali gave a nod, "It is a pleasure to meet you Llujah. My name is Vali. I am glad to meet any friend of Fitzroy's and of Pac Man too!"

He smiled and allowed the other spawn to take the lead towards the blanket and the food. He sat down and watched as Pac Man and Fitzroy started in on the food. He sometimes wished he were able to enjoy food so easily. But he hardly ever felt the need for food or sleep. He was going to ask his 'father' about that then as he held up a large shiny pear for Pac Man, Almas dropped the bomb on them. He looked from the man to Llujah then to Fitzroy, then back to the man. He bowed his head a moment to think about what he was just informed. "So they are dead. No longer with us is a nice way to say dead. I will never get to meet my demon father?" he bit his lip slightly then gave a nod. "I...if it is alright I don't want to see a photo of him. I never met him and seeing his photo will only rub it in that I will never actually get to see him." The metal spawn said softly.

As he sat there he wondered how his father died or why, then if the demon of sloth was gone, that Vali had to even come. It seemed that Fitzroy was not right. None of them were super heros

Almas fell silent as he seemed to be trying to figure out how to answer what Llujah had asked of him. Yes, they were gone but how to explain... the need for an explanation of any sort seemed to be taken out of his hands when Fitzroy spoke up. He looked over at the gluttony spawn for a long moment and then to Vali when he spoke up as well and he gave a slow nod of his head, "There are... some who have left this place of their own volition, others... were not so lucky." He said quietly, "So far three angels and three demons have left the Labs in various ways and among the three of your DNA donors... only one angel, the Angel of Diligence called Pol is still here."

He bowed his head for a moment, as though gathering his energy. This was going to be a long meeting he thought to himself, "I understand if you are uninterested in seeing the pictures of your DNA donors, I am still willing to answer any question that you might have about them, about your blood lines, or really anything in General. I am closer to being like the lot of you then any of the Techs." Or so he would like to think.

He placed a file in front of each of the three boys, "These contain the pictures and information. I will ask of you Fitzroy that if you look that you are careful in looking over the pictures of your Angel parent as you and Vali share that blood line and he doesn't want to see the pictures." The blond asked of Fitzroy, giving him a gentle smile.

Llujah's eyes lost their sparkle and his face was downcast. So... His real parents were... dead. The spawn did not know much about death and what it entails, but from what he knew, it meant that someone was gone and they could never ever come back. Death often made people very sad, especially the people who cared about those who had died. Llu, on the other hand, did not feel sadness for the loss of his true parents. He never knew them, so how could he care for them? In place of the sadness was a sort of forlorn and regret that he could not meet his true parents.

Llujah perked up instantly, however, when the man made mention that the Angel of Diligence, Polondraeli, was still present. Diligence was one of his traits! That meant that one of his real parents was still alive! "So, the Diligence angel is still here? Can I meet her?" Without waiting for a reply, the spawn grabbed the file in front of him and skimmed through the pictures. There were a few pictures of a scaly looking thing that didn't look very angelic, but then Llujah found a few pictures of the Diligence angel. He looked at some of them while nibbling on a muffin.

Fitzroy felt like he could cry. He had never been that close to the Gluttony demon - how could he be, they'd never met - but it felt like he'd met Jhordaesaloria just, like, yesterday! How could he be gone? Pac-man munched sadly on the pear Vali was kind enough to give him as Fitzroy sadly nodded at Almas' instructions, although he didn't understand Vali's logic. Looking at the pictures would make him feel closer to his dead parents. As he selected the folders labeled 'Kerylia - Gluttony' and 'Jhordaesaloria - Liberality', he half-smiled towards Vali, asking him a hesitant question. "Oh yeah, we must both have Liberality, huh? Heh, I'd forgotten. Did you meet Jhor, Vali?"

He flicked through the information, studying the folder on the Gluttony demon particularly closely. From what the folder said, Kerylia was dead almost before Fitzroy was born, through... Ew. What a terrible way to die. Shuddering a little, he closed it, picking up a few strands of grass and eating them thoughtfully before glancing towards Almas, a question glinting in his eyes.

"So... I look a lot like my demon father, huh? What was he like? Oh, and uh, h-how did Jhor... leave? I haven't heard anything about that." he said, drawing his knees to his chest. He ignored Pac-man's gnashing protests sadly, too caught up in the idea that he should have spent more time with his actual parents. Demons and angels seemed like such powerful, stable creatures that the idea of them just up and leaving on you was very unsettling.

When Almas gave Fitzroy a slight warning it was then that it dawned on the metallic spawn that he and Fitzory shared a parent. He turned to look at the greenish spawn and he shook his head. "No...I...I never met either of my parents." He was normally a happy and up beat person but he could not help but feel anger and pain at the thought that both of his parents were gone. That he would never get to meet either of them.

Sitting back quite for a moment Vali watched the other two spawn looking threw their parent's files. He could not help think that his parents must never have wanted to meet him if they would both die before even looking at him. His body tensed at the thought as anger started to fill him for the first time. Why should he get to know someone who more than likely never even knew he existed. Lowering his head a bit Vali just looked at the unopened file of his sin parent. Why bothering knowing about where you came from?

Almas looked to Llujah first since he'd asked his question first, "Perhaps when things have settled down and are back to running in a smooth manner it could be possible, not today but in the future." He told the the boy, giving him a smile. Things never seemed to run in a smooth manner for long before something happened to throw a wrench into things but at least with every incident they were learning more and more, able to protect the place better.

He turned his attention then to Fitzroy and seemed to think on his question, "Kerylia was our first mistake." He murmured, "At first the demons were all allowed to roam as the angels do, to allow them to stretch their legs and otherwise enjoy themselves best they could given the situation. Kerylia ruined that for the demons when he decided one day that one of the angels would make a good snack."

The mere thought of that day was enough to cause his cheeks to pale just a little, "A second demon got involved for reasons we never were able to figure out, perhaps he wanted the angel for himself or because it was Shar, the former wrath demon, he'd just seen a potential fight he could involve himself with. Anyway, it was after that all the demons save Enki were put in cells and kept separated from the general population. It remains as such now, aside from Enki who still roams as he pleases and Coatl who lives in the newly installed greenhouse."

"I am sorry, Vali... please know that one of your parents escaped here with the help of one of his brothers called Coleth. He told us that he'd freed both the Liberality Angel and the Abstinence angel before he was captured. Since the has been no sign of them since he didn't seem to be lying." This must be tough on the boy, to come here in hopes of meeting either Llewelyn or Jhor only to find they were no longer here, that one was no longer even alive.
