(ooc: created because it was brought to our attention that we were missing this village ^.^() sorry about that. Description written by Humbra) Kusagakure, The Village Hidden Amongst The Grass
Kusakagure looks as if it was built 1,000 years ago when lords and samurai traveled the pathways between the four major countries around the Grass Country. The village has pearly white lanes/roads/pathways that stretch across the smaller than average ninja village. Trees are heavily laiden around the village, with each fully grown tree only being six to seven feet from each other.
Main Official Building[Kage Office]: A three story office building, with bullet proof windows and a well built base. Resistant against earth quakes and bombs. The building is a square in it's shape with a large courtyard in the middle, which is filled with random trees collected from around the world.
Ninja Academy, Tutoring Services: A four room building, strictly made out of wood, with only two bathrooms. This building is used for teaching Academy students, and also holds the tutoring service.
Puchi Demise['Small Food Stand']: This establishment is owned by a 96 year old man called Yuchiki Ki, who is regularly sick and tricks his kind hearted 16 year-old granddaughter to take over the small food stand nearly every day. The stand serves ramen[of all types] and carries multiple types of beer/liquor/wines. (ooc: dies of happiness)
Kaida stood at the edge of the village coming home after being at the academy for some time. She headed to her home hoping to find her father in good health. Her father was the only family that she had left that she knew of since her mother died. She was a genin now and she was hopeful that more adventures would come her way and that soon there would be people in her village again.

(( >< Party on! ))
Humbra toyed with a pink flower in his left hand. He sighed. In his right hand, which held the massive scars of something long past, held a small scroll of which was titled 'the lore of the flowers'. The Academy student studied it, reading the scroll with an unfathomable viviction. He simply could not turn away.
He was trapped in his thoughts, simply thinking about the knowledge he was getting from the small scientific scroll. Ideas began to flourish like lillies on a sunny day: ideas which meant that he could over come the barriers of which held him at his current rank.
The Academy student's eyes were glued to the scroll, of which he read beneath an old oak tree. Each second the shadow of the tree grey longer, causing a small chilly breeze to blow against the ninja's light brown hair.

Shadows encircled the academy student, who had been reading for hours on end. Still, he persisted in his rump-centered agony with only care to the gain of knowledge. Humbra let the pink flower in his left hand fall to the grass beneath him, and was somehow distracted by watching it fall onto the grass.
His back layed against the trunk of the tree as he returned to read ingthe scroll. Soon enough, though, darkness clouded his vision and forced a slumber unto the 13-year old. The scroll he held in his scarred right hand followed the just fallen flower, to hit the grass with barely a whisper in the forest.

Humbra rested there, ignoring the butterflies and songbirds that rested on his shoulders and body. He let out a small snore, sending a rogue butterfly away from his nostrils. The scroll which he held rolled away from him, floating on the long thin strips of grass.
And he rested peacefully, dreaming all the while about his flowering ideas. Thoughts drifted in and out of his mind, as a dream does in all instances. Memories of his father's green eyes glowed in the distances of his mind's eye.
It wasn't anything spectacular to see the teenager sleep. It was, however, interesting in that a nearby tree limb was bringing the ninja's scroll back to him. The leaves that the old oak above the Academy student had brushed with the rolling scroll, pushing it against gravity.

Kaida was silent as she headed towards the village but spotting Humbra in the distance she snuck over with great stealth knowing the land of her home quite well and she gently nudged him with her foot. "You really shouldn't sleep just anywhere... Especially out here. You might get fleas!" She smiled glad to see someone from her own village. "Shouldn't you be off training at the academy with Buki-Sama?" She was rather curious what an academy student would be doing in such a strange place.

"Huh?" A foot pushed against his left leg, bringing him out of his little dream world. Humbra looked at the girl who just asked him a question as soon as his eyes had opened.
A small breeze passed under the tree the two ninjas shared. The long grass that usually sorrounded this part of Kusagakure shifed around them to face towards Kaida.
"Oh." He smiled, looking at the red headed shinobi who stared down at him with just as much curiousity as he did to his scroll. Where was his scroll, anyways? Humbra had nearly lost track of his thoughts, when he looked at the girl who had just poked him a minute before. "Who's Buki-sama? I have no idea who that is, miss.. Uhm.. Hm.. My name is Hisyo Humbra- what's your name?"

Kaida stood there a moment in silence as she watched the boy and then offered her hand to help him up. "Tamasine Kaida... Just call me Kaida." She looked at the grass and smirked. "Aren't you an academy student? Surely you would know Buki-Sensei if you went to the academy." She shrugs and climbs up into the tree and sits on a fairly strong branch. "What are you doing out here all by your self?"

He took her hand, and was quickly standing beside the taller ninja. "Yeah.. I'm an Academy Student, but I've been excused from taking classes. Something about me being further ahead of everyone else in every single on of my classes." Humbra sighed, and looked at the kunoichi as she climbed the tree.
The Academy Student walked up to the tree and began to follow the elder nin up the oak. As he climbed onto a nearby branch, he responded to her question," By myself? If you haven't noticed, there's quite a few trees around us. As long as there is life, I don't think I'll ever be by myself.."
Humbra smiled, and looked at Kaida who sat a branch way from himself,"So why are you out here?"

She laughs softly and flicks his head as he comes up the tree. "I didn't mean to include the plant life in that statement... I just meant... Peoplewise... why are you out here by yourself. That kind of thing is dangerous these days. Well... then again it always has been." She shrugs slightly and looks up to the sky. "Such a beautiful day.... actually I am on my way home to go meet my father.. I finished my training at the academy. They almost didn't let me in because of my age. But I am back... for now... I don't know what they are gonna do about putting me in a three person group... our village is so small."

"Hmm? Three gennin team? Are there any Jounin which aren't always busy with village business? It'll be tough, I think, to set that up, Kaida-kun." Heck.. Do we even have any Chuunins? And what about that non-existent Kusakage? Oh well.
"And why am I out here?.." He quizzed himself humorously, looking upwards into the nest filled tree," Hmm.." Humbra bent back his neck, to look at the small openings in the leaves above him. The Academy Student looked at a passing cloud which stuck out against the bright blue sky. "It's because I'm not bothered by the bustle, even if it's small, of the village. There's only the trees and my mind..." And you, Kaida-kun.

(ooc: kun... I thought I am of higher rank than you... probably not for long but still... don't i even get a chan?)
Kaida stayed silent for a moment taking in the somewhat peaceful world around her. Looking over to him she smirked. "Even without alot of things our village will be strong one day... I can promise you that..." Her eyes were so peaceful her body at ease as she sat there. "I hope soon we can at least be at peace with other villages.. but for now... we seek them out for help.. I may have to travel to another village and train there with a group. Wont be the same as having our own out here."

((Isn't '-chan' used to define a close friend, or a girl/boy friend?.. Mleh. I shall now use Kaido-chan, methinks. smile ))
"Kusagakure is a tree which is sorrounded by 4 other trees which have larger roots and branches. However, a cactus can grow even in the driest of conditions and live with several bark eating insects, while the largest of trees will die out with a single drought and will slowly die off with tunneling animals or bugs." He smiled, glancing over at Kaida. "A cactus, or any adapted tree, can survive what others cannot."
His eyes looked at the cloud which fled behind a small robin nest. He lost track of the small cloud of which reappeared seconds later. "Kaida-chan, do you know where the ninja academy is? I think I should visit it now.." Humbra smiled, simply watching the cloud drift away from himself and Kaida towards Konohagakure.

(as it was explained to me kun is like talking to a child or someone below you.. chan is for girls mostly but they are of more importance than someone with a kun after their name.. look at the naruto comics at www.narutofan.com and you can get up to chapter 280 or 290 i cant remember... its a big number anyway.. after the three year jump sakura is a chuunin and naruto is still a genin but he refers to her as sakura-chan instead of sakura-kun but naruto is always refered to as naruto-kun)
Glancing in Humbra's direction she let out a soft sigh. "You are right... be it person, plant or animal, something that adapts is stronger than something that cannot. If I train with other nin from other villages I may just be able to learn things I could not here." She picks off a single leaf from the tree muttering a thanks to the tree that provided the leaf and using her chakra carefully and with great control she makes the leaf look like it's dancing in the palm of her hand. "We specialize much in plants here... this here leaf could be a provider of shade for us or a source of energy for the tree but for me it can become a deadly weapon. My skill with this isn't refined enough to do much damage to a nin of greater level than myself... but... in a natural inviroment... this is a good thing to have... I've called it Dance of the Razor Petals... flower petals work quite well." She smiles for a moment and then looks to Humbra. "Stay a short while... and then.. when I head back to the bigger villages I will take you with me and take you to the academy. I can already tell you are a nin of great skill or at least will be."

Humbra smiled. He brought a small bit of chakra into his tanned and scarred fingers. The Academy student quickly did a seal, which caused a long thing branch to sneak up and get behind Kaida. With a switch of his hand position, he caused the thin branch to prodd the back of the elder ninja. "Same thing with the branches we sit on, Kaida-chan."
"Well. I shouldn't be holding you from visiting your father. Cya around, Kaida-chan." He pushed himself off the tree, and landed softly on the ground beneath him. Then, slowly, he began to walk away from the oak tree with a smile on his face. The odd thing, though, would be the fact that he didn't know why he was smiling.
(( Blegh. I'll just 'magickly' move myself to Buki's thread. Mlegh. I want to become a Gennin quick, so I can start on learning/doing some more intense jutsus. Oh well.
After becoming a Gennin, I'll return to this village as quickly as I can. sweatdrop ))
